My road up to my driveway is steep and bumpy. It’s only 0.3 miles up but bumpy. You don't need four wheel drive but higher ground clearance is recommended. Our homestead is home to our family, chickens, and a livestock guardian dog. We also have a small orchard and a garden. Most of our 12+ acres are wooded and our property backs up to thousands of acres of public forest land owned by Clemson University. A trail connects our backyard to the main network of hiking/mountain biking trails in Clemson Forest. I had a wonderful 2 days, very restful, exactly what I needed. Their dog was curious but not terribly interested, the rooster crowed, as roosters do. The view was terrific. Read the other reviews - the site is on an incline, but we (husband and I) went prepared and managed to level our popup tent. I will go back.

Nice, quiet semi-private site. Single site hidden from main road. Easy pull through with full hookups and a nice gazebo for cover. Beautiful view of the starts at night with no light polution. Enjoyed this weekend away from home.

Had a great time camping and will definitely be back. Biking from the campground straight into DuPont was a treat. All amenities were as described. Heed the warnings about the gravel drive to the pond campsites; we made it fine with an AWD van but would be spicy in bad weather!

We truly cannot say enough good things about these hosts or this property! They welcomed me and my little family with more kindness than we’ve ever experienced traveling or even near home. I’ve been through a lot emotionally and physically, and we came hoping to heal they made us feel safe, cared for, and supported. From leaving an apple for my son when he qhickly needed some fiber, to helping with groceries and packages, to lending us a propane fire pit and giving my little one a tiny shovel, their kindness never stopped. We honestly felt like God placed us on their property for a reason. We are forever grateful. The property is immaculate with beautiful views. Even with a nearby road, it was incredibly quiet- early mornings and nights were almost ethereal, like being deep in the country. The pavilion was wonderful, and river access just steps away was perfect for skipping rocks and listening to the peaceful water. We also loved the community garden and the kind neighbors. Star gazing during the solar storm was completely amazing because of the extremely low light pollution from any cities. SHOOTING STARS GALORE! Ceaser's head was only minutes away and so was Cup & Saucer coffee shop that had amazing pumpkin spice lattes and an allergy friendly quiche! This stay was full of warmth and peace. These hosts truly feel like family to us, and because of them, we now want to move to the area. We will never forget our time here and highly, highly recommend staying with them. ❤️

We car camped at the farm and it was so peaceful. The bathrooms/showers were very close. We had our own water/electric pump. When we needed assistance, Tracie helped us literally within 10 minutes, she is incredible. It was a beautiful and fun experience!!

Weekend Trip to Harmony Glen

Don't think, just book. The beauty of this place is what drew me to it. The kindness, and warmth June brings to this place is what makes you stay. Quite a magical stay, with the sweetest dogs and beautiful grounds to explore. Placed perfectly to explore surrounding hikes and waterfalls. June is an excellent host with a wealth of information about the area and history behind her place. If you're looking for somewhere quiet, clean, with excellent stargazing, book it.

Weekend Trip to Serenity on the Saluda

I loved this site! Super beautiful with the trees and river. There's ample room for 2 vehicles and 2 tents. No picnic table which would've been nice, but we brought our own and it was ok. The fire pit was nice as well. The river bank was steep so not easy to get in and out of, but I think there's a boat ramp somewhere. I would definitely love to stay here again, overall a really nice spot

What a wonderful, peaceful campsite! We enjoyed every minute of it. We brought my 78 year old mother & she loved the easy walk to the creek & walking through the community garden & guessing what was planted. There was great communication with Jann & she made sure we knew about all the fun places nearby. It’s a wonderful location! We will be back soon!!

I had a perfect experience here! It was exactly what I needed. It was easy to find, the hosts were responsive when I needed them, the space was cute, simple, and private enough. I felt safe and it was a piece of cake. Thanks for making my trip that much easier! ♥️

1 night at Mountaintop Fantasy

This a very unique and cozy treehouse cabin in a beautiful location, right by Lake Glenville. It is a comfortable space with lots of amenities for a fun weekend in the mountains, and feels very secluded surrounded by woods and at a high elevation. Despite being there in rainy weather, it was beautiful with all the fall foliage! And Peter is a very friendly and welcoming host. I would certainly recommend a visit!
