Ani and I are big believers in being mindful and respectful of our environment wherever reasonable. So, we are incorporating both alternative and municipal utilities as they can fit into our homestead design and limited budget. Through good design, our goal is to show just how "normal" small living can feel. We all have personal priorities and those will vary greatly, and that's okay. But no person should be so self-absorbed that we have completely shut out the importance of being respectfully mindful to the earth and to our fellowman. After all, if we don't have that, what do we have? To be completely transparent, though, the creatives in us also would like it if we inspired onlookers to possibly look at their own space and life a little bit differently. We've personally found it to be so fulfilling to distinguish real desires and needs from the ones we've been groomed to pursue, and then work to make them a reality. We've found it energizing to witness our fellowmen and women pursuing a dream. We'd like to be a stimulating memory along any person's journey. Visiting with us, we sure hope our guests don't expect to find a corporate approach to life here, and that they can appreciate some of our old-fashioned ways. That, as our paths cross, we won't be held to a business-first standard that we have worked hard to remove ourselves from. This a very simple site for 1 or 2 self contained RV's. It has rural feel but less than 15 minute drive to downtown Beaufort or Parris Island or MCAS Beaufort. Located among live oaks and pines on a salt water tidal marsh. No amenities, just a pleasant and quiet parking area. It's flat but you might need some leveling depending on where you park. This is a cool camping spot with space for an RV of up to 48 ft. We have electric, water and sewer on site.The property is across for the Burton wells athletic and recreational complex, a 300 acre county park with baseball, soccer, football, basketball, fitness room, walking trails, biking, a dog park and a playground. Serenity Trails has two R.V spots for dry camping surrounded by pines with a trail that leads to the park. The property is located in a neighborhood off of Joe Frazier Rd, which is where the famous boxer, who was the first to defeat Muhammad Ali, grew up. The property is 10 minutes from Historic downtown Beaufort S.C., one hour from Historic Savannah GA, and one hour from Historic Charleston S.C. Your stay at Serenity Trails gives you access to the Greenhouse Tent Pavilion, a military style space with tables, chairs, a sofa sleeper, and a host of games for your enjoyment. Weekend Trip to Cassabl Farm

We had amazing time tent camping here. We got to meet Steve and April as they brought wood to our campsite when we first arrived and they were very kind and answered all our questions. They told us all about the budding vineyard visible from the campsites and how it will soon support a winery that will be opening next year. We were lucky enough to be able to try a few of their wines and they were all delicious. We'll definitely be coming to visit the winery once it opens up! The camp sites were all well mentioned and felt safe and secluded. There was plenty of firewood available to purchase and the porta potty was clean and centrally located. My wife and I explored the property a bit with our dog and it was very nice. The sunset view of the marsh at the far edge of the property was absolutely gorgeous and it was really cool to be able to walk around the vineyard and check out that area of the campsite. We will definitely be coming back to camp here regularly!

Curt’s property was perfect for my needs. He was very accommodating in showing me around and making me feel welcomed! I had a rooftop tent and a my dog Salem. The site was perfect for Salem and level for the car. I would highly recommend this location especially if you are interested in traveling to Savannah which is only about a 30 min drive.
