104 acres of private land for your enjoyment. This site would be best suited for tent campers at the moment due to no bath houses or electricity for the time being. Come enjoy your stay bring a kayak or canoe and float around the 6 acres of ponds and catch some of the many bass, bream or crappie that occupy the waters. The property is located 7 miles off highway 74/76 in Whiteville and 10 miles to Lake Waccamaw, 32 miles to Ocean Isle Beach, 45 miles to Wilmington, 36 miles to North Myrtle Beach. The road is gravel all the way to the camping area with signs for directions. When there’s no burn ban in place or lack of rain i do try to keep firewood on-site but I recommend checking with me before your stay. Reserve your spot and experience the peace and quiet of the outdoors and listen to the turkeys and watch the deer feed in early mornings while the sun rises. Agape Farm South is a lavender farm in Dillon, SC, just across the NC border. This is our second year and have a total of 600 plants growing. The property is 15+ total acre with a cleared 2.8 acre field of which approx 1/4 of that has the lavender. We will be adding more lavender each spring and fall. There are two orchards framing the field and property lines. This is an undeveloped rural property, there are currently to amenities. We have cut out a camping (RV or tent) in the woods on the edge of the field. The shaded spot is enclosed with dog fencing and gated with two rear exits into the woods. This means that you can pull in your camper, or car with tent equipment, close the gate and lets your dogs out. They two can experience some nature in a safe manner. This is something you cannot get in many places. There is a fire ring and firewood, table and 2 chairs. Lavender blooms in spring and summer and attracts many butterflies. The fruiting orchards will start producing fruit in 2024.
Please know that this is our home away from home and our future retirement income. Please respect it and leave no trace of your presence. We are happy to share it with you.
If you are in a RV/Travel Trailer, there is Bass Lake Campground right on the I95 exit for Dillon that offer water, dump station and propane for your needs.
The wildlife is abundant, and although the deer ruin our row covering, we still like having them around and are creating food plots for them at the rear of the property to draw them away from the field (fingers crossed). Follow our journey on FB at Agape Farms North & South.

- New rustic cabin with one queen bed, a queen pullout sofa, kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, two-burner hot plate, multi-cooking countertop oven, instant hot water, shower, toilet and all basic amenities including towels, linens, paper products, heating/AC, etc. Screened in porch with fan and a fantastic view of the pond, and on the shady side, a small deck with dining set and a grill. Agape Farm South is a lavender farm in Dillon, SC, just across the NC border. This is our second year and have a total of 600 plants growing. The property is 15+ total acre with a cleared 2.8 acre field of which approx 1/4 of that has the lavender. We will be adding more lavender each spring and fall. There are two orchards framing the field and property lines. This is an undeveloped rural property, there are currently to amenities. We have cut out a camping (RV or tent) in the woods on the edge of the field. The shaded spot is enclosed with dog fencing and gated with two rear exits into the woods. This means that you can pull in your camper, or car with tent equipment, close the gate and lets your dogs out. They two can experience some nature in a safe manner. This is something you cannot get in many places. There is a fire ring and firewood, table and 2 chairs. Lavender blooms in spring and summer and attracts many butterflies. The fruiting orchards will start producing fruit in 2024.
Please know that this is our home away from home and our future retirement income. Please respect it and leave no trace of your presence. We are happy to share it with you.
If you are in a RV/Travel Trailer, there is Bass Lake Campground right on the I95 exit for Dillon that offer water, dump station and propane for your needs.
The wildlife is abundant, and although the deer ruin our row covering, we still like having them around and are creating food plots for them at the rear of the property to draw them away from the field (fingers crossed). Follow our journey on FB at Agape Farms North & South.

40 ft travel trailer
I came here in early November and wound up extending my stay twice because we enjoyed it so much. Connie and Jeff have a beautiful well maintained piece of property with plenty of level ground for the camper. There were several trails I explored with my pets and plenty of wood for fires at night. Plus only a 15 minute drive to the beach. It felt very private and safe the whole time I was there. I hope to be back someday!

My 4th time visiting Joseph’s camp and hopefully not the last. This space could easily be a dozen campsites but you get the entire site to yourself! This time we got to enjoy s’mores by the campfire and test our new tent. If you visit on a clear night and the moon is full you don’t even need a flashlight to see outside. Perfect area for letting the dog run also!

1st time camping here and it was wonderful. Staff is extremely attentive and nice. Very laid back and unstressful which is really what your looking for on a weekend getaway to recharge from the day to day. The glamping tent we booked was extremely clean and comfortable overlooking the river making it very tranquil. If you bring children, the site has a myriad of events and activities to keep them busy and having fun. The whole facility is extremely well kept and a lot of thought and effort was put in to create the appropriate holiday theme of the season (we were there late Oct and it looked fabulous). We are definitely going to book another stay there especially with all the warm weather activities they have like kayaking and tubing. We might consider one of thier more excluded camping sites that they offer. Very much recommend checking it out whether old or young.

Connie is a lovely host with a tidy, spacious property!
Connie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at our site and helped us with our beach day needs. The site was LARGE with trees dividing us from the next site, picnic table, charcoal grill, and a little trail in the back. Would recommend to anyone looking to go to the coast on a budget. Fern Getaway was the perfect spot for us! We are beginner campers and it was really nice to have amenities available to make the experience a little more comfortable. The shower, compost toilet, and grilling station were a gamechanger.
Definitely would recommend staying here! Bring food to cook and s'mores for campfire. The shower is cool / lukewarm but it felt great after spending the day in the sun! It's only a 30-35 min drive to Cherry Grove Beach
