3.5 acre property, last remaining part of old inlet horse farm, with plenty of natural buffers from the few neighbors in our vicinity and between our camp sites, as well as the road. So close to everything the inlet area has to offer. Beaches, tidal inlet with boat ramps, Waccamaw River with boat ramps, restaurants, shops, bars, State Parks, nature preserves, fun attractions and much, much more, all just moments away. We are set up as a “primitive” camping experience, the property is kept very natural, unmanicured for the most part, little to no herbicides or insecticides used here. It’s a work in progress, is difficult for me to tackle chores due to physical disabilities, so some private areas are disorganized at this time. I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range.
I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free.
Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome.
I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

I spent a few days here in early December and just extended for the next month. It’s a charming, rural spot with full amenities at all sites, bathrooms including showers, washer and dryer. Pet friendly with trails to take my dog for a walk. Will and Lorie have been exceptionally kind and welcoming and came to check on me during a recent cold spell. Very safe and private. There’s a nearby mobile rv technician, Mike the RV Medic who helped me repair my furnace and was very professional. Very reasonable rates for everything being offered. I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Scott is a wonderful host. The site was easy to get into, very well taken care of, and private. The location is central & convenient to everything nearby. It is truly a haven for camping in an area that has otherwise been gentrified & built up. Thank you for the hospitality, Scott! Looking forward to another stay.

This place was fantastic! It was super easy to get to, the property was beautiful, and the camper was perfect and spotless. Darren is a wonderful host; he communicated well and made sure I had everything I needed. He even found a car key that I lost on the property and messaged me to let me know he'd set it aside for me. Amazing experience all around!

20 ft pop-up camper
We had a nice stay. But, after 3 days of solid rain, we decided to cut our trip short and head home. There was water, electric, and WiFi available. There also was an outside shower, with hot and cold water, which worked well when it wasn’t raining. We only used it once. The day we used it, it was chilly and windy and the wind blew through the wood slats….brrrrr!
There is no outhouse or toilet available. You are able to use the outside sewer to dump. Steve was very good about communicating with us. However, we never met him in person. Overall, we had a nice experience.

We loved camping at scott’s spot!!
he was extremely considerate from the moment we pulled in, he even had treats and a ball ready for our pups
the spot is tucked behind on his land and could adjust to small/big families and had everything we needed for tent camping (plus more) and he even surprised us with eggs from his chicken to cook for breakfast.
the area is both away from the hustle and bustle but also close enough to the beach and food.
overall, super generous man who we can tell loves company, we could have sat and talked to him for hours but unfortunately we were short on time, thanks for everything you did for us, scott!!

Great little spot. Steve was very responsive to any and all needs. Super friendly guy. We were parked in a big field. It was peaceful with just a little road noise. Nothing bothersome. The outdoor shower had broke and Steve was on it! Great price too.

Cute little RV in a secluded little lot. It had all the basics and Monte had the AC going and it was cool when we arrived! Had a good signal on all our phones. All the time! Was a great experience to be so close to nature and also not far of a drive to go sightseeing!!

I came to this beautiful sight to stay while visiting a friend for some golf. The place is beautiful, well-maintained, and Lorie is the sweetest! She accommodated a last-minute change for me without hesitation.
My dog and I had long walks together, weather permitting. The atmosphere is clearly western, and I felt like the wagons had circled for a rest on our journey.
The horses grazing and rolling in the grass were a big plus.
Uber clean restrooms and showers. Laundry availability a plus.
My golf? Cancelled due to lightning. I will be back, maybe in the spring before the summer heat.

Weekend Trip to The Black River Xscape
My husband and I have stayed at many Hipcamp places and air b n b’s and this was by far, our favorite!! The spot is very private, river front, big yard with a grill and smoker, tables, lounge chairs! Fully fenced and very secure! If you want to bring a pet it’s great! ! A deck that is right off the river! The view from the bedroom is the river! The cat fishing was amazing! They were bitting! You can fish off the deck!! The view of the river is beautiful! The rv is huge, nicely decorated, and sleeps a lot! It’s super nice! It has two cute lofts for kids!! It was stocked with all the amenities!! Monee the host was the best host! She answers right away, gives detailed instructions! She is super sweet! It was also thirty mins from Pawley’s island beach!! Beautiful beach! Myrtle beach and Charleston are about an hour away! So much to do at this location!! We plan to stay here longer, very soon!!

Weekend Trip to Laurel Oaks Estate
We stayed at little bear and had a fantastic time! The bed was very comfortable and the tent had everything you could need to cook, eat, and even had an AC unit! Very helpful in the July heat. We paddled around on the pond and enjoyed making s'mores on the campfire. Krystl met with us and allowed us to pet and feed the horses which were beautiful. Overall an amazing glamping experience. Would definitely recommend!

Scott was very hospitable, despite us checking in very late due to bad weather on the road he was there to greet us and show us the spot.
He kindly offered for BBQ, and even surprised us with some fresh watermelon.
The campsite is very close to town, Walmart, gas stations, the beach, though being in a secluded spot.
**Make sure to bring mosquito repellent.
