It is run as a small non-profit animal sanctuary and is home to rescued chickens, goats, and pigs, as well as two humans and their dog and cat companions. The main property is fenced in, with a large back field great for tent camping, and an orchard to explore that can also double as hammock camping. There is parking for cars and bikes. KSJoy’s property was as described and a nice spot to hang out for a couple of days before the busy holiday season kicks in. Full electric hookup. No water this time of year (was just shut off last week). Nice area. Drove around. Followed the host’s recommendations for local food. Great advice! Had our four dogs with us. The property is close to a fairly busy road so having good recall (or we brought a fencing system) is essential. The road noise Fri-Sun in mid Nov. was not an issue. The host was very communicative and answered all questions but was hands off which we liked. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my peaceful camping spot on Jessica's lovely land. There was plenty of firewood, if needed. I did not get to meet my host in person, but Jessica checked in by text to make sure I was doing ok. Her land is well maintained and the location is close to a State Park and to stores and shopping. The land is on a slight incline and it can get windy. Highly recommend and will make plans to return when it's a bit warmer!

Beautiful views, nice firepit and trees to park the cars under. Private and easy to get to off the road. There are beehives nearby, which would be important to know if someone has an allergy. Overall a nice place to camp.

Definitely recommended. I will love to go back next year during springtime Place is so private, love waking up in the morning to hear only nature,what a simple weekend getaway So relaxing and refreshing.My two dogs had fun with this hip camp.

Weekend Trip to Humble Farm with Simplicity

Easy to find with Google and written directions. The property is secluded and ideal for camping with close access to local trails. Mary and Victor were very nice and when asked were flexible to let us stay in the converted trailer due to weather. The horses were amazing and friendly to bet! Great experience and definitely will return and recommend.

2 nights at Water Forest Retreat

My husband and I loved staying at Treehouse!! If you are looking for a magical place in nature, look no further! The Treehouse is a very private and tranquil spot in the woods that is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. The hammock was by far our favorite spot to relax in and gaze up to the sky. We had perfect weather for hiking and the trails are well marked and maintained. We even got to see a deer while out on the trails! Nighttime is meant for fires and the fire pit area with tiki torches is beautiful and relaxing. We came back home recharged and refreshed. Bert and Nancy are incredible hosts with the most positive energy! They thought of every little detail and Bert was very attentive just in case we needed anything, but not intrusive. I am pretty sure we over packed lol Can’t wait to book our next stay!

We loved staying here! Secluded, quiet, beautiful trees and sweet stone fire pit. The owners are incredibly kind! We have a 20’ trailer and truck and backing in was a bit tricky with trees and rocks but worth it! Very level! We will come back!
