Ready to explore Presque Isle State Park? The 13 sandy swimming beaches and 21 miles of trails are a great start. You can also gawk at the pristine shoreline from Peninsula Drive—keep an eye out for the historic lighthouses. Canoeing, biking, inline skating, and hiking are a few other ways to see the park.

The park itself offers no camping since it's day use only. Luckily, the region boasts tons of private RV parks with full hook-ups and campgrounds with tent camping around Erie and Fairview. Fire rings, picnic tables, and even Wi-Fi are a few amenities to enjoy.

Once you've found your home base, discover the calm waters of Presque Isle Bay. The state park's 500-slip marina is ground zero for water skiing, wakeboarding or just cruising while ospreys fly overhead. Trout, muskie, and walleye fishing is also big here, so don't forget your tackle.

AANR/TNS friendly. There is excellent Verizon and T-Mobile service. The skies are dark at night and the sounds of nature will surround you. Campsite 1 is near where the farmhouse and barn once stood. The site is shaded by large, old maples that once shaded the farmhouse. Old fields surround the farmstead, but the woods are a short walk away.  It is the most popular campsite with an outhouse, fire ring and picnic table available. Campsite 2 is on the other side of the property. There is a fire ring but no picnic table.  Both sites easily accommodate anything from tents to RV's. Each site has a separate, gated, gravel road access. These are the only 2 campsites on the property and they are far enough apart (1/4 mile) to avoid any contact should both sites be occupied. There is a 2-mile loop hiking trail on the property that traverses a variety of habitats which are home to many animals and birds. The trail is well maintained and mowed. The terrain is flat to gentle slopes. The 1/2-mile Narnia Loop trail weaves through a young spruce forest like a maze. It is so cool, literally, even on the hottest days. The Allegheny River is about 10 miles away, near Tidioute, PA, and has excellent paddling and fishing. Titusville, PA is about 15 miles away and is home to Oil Creek State Park which has great trout fishing, an excellent paved bike/hike trail, and Drake Well Museum site of the first oil well ever drilled. Finally, you will be on the doorstep to the Allegheny National Forest with all the outdoor recreation it has to offer. Geneva on the Lake is about 30 minutes from us. We have a catch and release fishing pond. There are 8 sites, all pretty spaced out to give privacy and a relaxing experience. 2 of which are pretty secluded site 6 and site 8. Campsites 1, 2,4,5 and 7have a view of the pond. Site 3 is near a meadow and sits behind all the other sites. Sites 1,2,3,7 can be RV or tent sites. The pavilion adds a sense of comfort especially during rain days. We have corn hole , bocce ball and a few other relaxing games as well as a few card and board games for playing while enjoying the pavilion.

Clean air and a clean campground❣️Definitely had a hippy vibe to it, and was not far from the highway. The staff was in contact with me right after my same day reservation, and the owner I met was welcoming. There are port a potties and showers available, but they are in the process of building an actual bathhouse. There is also a pet fee to be aware of. I would describe this as rustic camping, so do not expect something like a formal campground with paved parking spots, fire rings, and picnic tables at the sites. Think open farm field, walk in woods camping. I would stay again❣️

Perfectly clean and well-appointed improved camp site in a beautiful location. The photos make it appear more private/remote than it is. Think of it as more of a residential spot. There is a trail along tha creak behind the site and people are often walking by. Houses are also close and just across from the sites.. But the creek and lake access are so close, it’s worth having less privacy and a little more noise. (You can hear the freeway in the distance and cars on the nearby road.) We were lucky that there was no one in the spot next to us during our visit so that was nice.

Our 75 acre property is located on a hilltop near Chautauqua Lake affording “ big sky” views and spectacular sunsets in a secluded natural setting . Our campsites range from partially wooded ,partially open meadow sites you access in your vehicle, to more remote sites accessed on foot . Most sites will be mowed in some areas and surrounded with woods and natural areas and views . Most sites have room for several tents , and some can accommodate campers and moderate size RVs. Traveling with your horses ? We can accommodate you and your horses . Sites are available where you can have your horse trailer right at your site , and have your equine pals right with you . You can also ride our walking trails . We have 2 12x12 barn stalls and warm water wash rack if you would like to rent a stall during your stay . All sites are located far apart affording you privacy and a true wild experience . Note : though we will accept campers anytime of the year , Nov. - April is normally quite wet or deep snow ( greatly limiting vehicular travel to camping areas ) . Between Nov 1 and May 1 you may be restricted a 4 acre open area for your vehicle . Wooded , open , half and half sites available . Rock fire rings , free fire wood . All sites are far apart , you likely won’t see other campers unless you go looking for them ! We offer privacy and nature’s beauty at its best . Spectacular sunsets , 360 degree star filled night sky with no light pollution . Our property abounds with wildlife and wild flowers . This weeks sightings have included Barred Owl , Pilated Woodpecker , Black Bear ,Red fox, Wild Turkeys , kestrel and deer with red wing blackbirds hitching a ride on back ! We have a network of trails for walking, enjoying nature and viewing wildlife . Nearby activities and attractions include Chautauqua lake and surrounding attractions , Amish Country , Allegheny State Park , Allegheny National Forest,National Comedy Center , canoeing and Kayaking , hiking , fishing . We offer FREE firewood and fresh well water access to all campers and your pets are welcome here . Enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking. Search for beach glass on one of the many nearby beaches. Visit one of the many wonderful restaurants in the Harbor District. Come and enjoy the Beach Glass Festival in June, The Wine and Walleye Festival in July, The County Fair in August, The Covered Bridge Festival in October. Visit one of the many wineries throughout the county. Visit Geneva on the Lake with its many activities, bars, wineries and restaurants or play a round of put put golf. A full service golf course is just down the road from the farm. You can explore the local rivers, Ashtabula and Grand River. There are many smaller lakes close by to enjoy too. Ohio's Metro Park system is extensive in Ashtabula. Hike and explore to your heart's content. Love music? There is almost always live music around the county in the summer. Right off Rt 426 (GPS address is 1999 Rt. 426 Clymer NY) and nestled in between the quaint town of Findley Lake and the Peek n' Peak Ski and Golf Resort. There are no RV hookups or sewer connection, but this is a simple place to pull in and camp for a few nights. Sunsets are amazing and is also a large migratory bird (Canadian Geese) path in the fall time. It is truly a sight to see. Site is ~2000 sq ft (50' long x 40' wide) and can comfortably handle a larger RV and/or trailer.
