We had a great time! Exactly as advertised! Beautiful sunset views through the trees, or walk to the farm and get a front seat. Bathrooms were very well kept, groundsman was very nice. Our first night the land was basically empty so it was so quiet and wonderful. The second night some more campers with families came in, you can definitely hear the other campers, but still felt like we had privacy. The ONLY ânegativeâ and itâs the nature of the land, the deer flies are relentless. Bring lots of deet, and a hat. Other than the flies, which we can deal with, weâre in their house now haha, we had a wonderful 2 night stay. Thanks again!

We had a good experience. No privacy though, and the people at Turkey Point were so loud, there was quite a few of them. Lots of wood available, and space to play. I didnât receive any response from the hosts in regards to a booking issue I was having, just kept getting automatic replies and the link provided for FAQ and maps didnât work.

Beautiful campground! Would 100% return. Was easy to find. Site was spacious and had cut fire wood on site. Washrooms close walking distance and a nice outdoor shower! Got a warm welcome from the host on my second night. Are so many amazing hiking trails very close and lots of places to paddle board! Definitely coming back with my dog!

The Houghton site was one of the most private sites. We loved that there were felled logs and branches laying around the campsite to make a fire! Even though the campsite itself was great, you can still see and hear other campsites. If youâre going on a holiday, please bring earplugs as some campers may play music until 3am despite the ownerâs reminder of 11pm rule.

Amazing experience, nice little forest, I will book again soon, we booked turkey point spot very spacious for our travel trailer and well equipped, a little tip I could give is to cut the low branches of the trees to make it easier to enter and exit with the trailer

A friend and I tent camped at Angela and Erikâs spot and we had an overall good experience. Finding our site was easy since we used the map that was provided in the listing and also referred to the automated message that was sent to us after we booked the site. I recommend having an SUV or a car that is comfortable driving over more rougher terrain to get to your site. The sites here are nice and shaded, which would be perfect for hot summer days. We must be in slow season for camping because I believe we were the only people on the camping property. It was nice and private, which was nice. What I will say is that at some point it kind of felt eerie since there wasnât anybody else around and also since Angela and Erik did not respond to my message prior to coming to the site; so it was a little off putting there was no one there plus the hosts were unresponsive on messaging. Should we have needed anything Iâm not sure what we wouldâve done since no one was around or contactable. But thankfully, all was well and we had everything that we needed. The outhouses were pleasant to use, and there wasnât a very strong smell, and they do provide washing water. Overall, awesome spot.
Some feedback regarding the fire pit ring: I would recommend, especially since the sites get so leafy that they be buried in the ground. We had a couple incidents where the fire would leak underneath the rim and catch fire on the ground and spread very quickly around the site due to the dry leaves.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. Quiet, close to lake eerie and unique little towns, long point for the beaches, and friendly neighbours (shoutout to Dave for giving us bug spray!)
Sites are well spread out but a little closer than the map might imply. We also appreciated having wood on site!

Had a great stay. Everything you need to camp. Starstruck was a great site for star gazing. Hosts were very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore Norfolk. Backus Woods a couple minutes away with loads of trails for nature lovers.

I'm a local birder, and just needed a place to lay my head for the night. What a lovely little campsite I had. I could see and hear quite a few warblers. There was plenty of room to set up my tents as well. Will hopefully return again next season.

Very nice spot, conveniently located near Long Point. We were visiting for the birds. The campsite is not completely out of site from other sites, but it's a nice enough spot to pitch a tent for a night. I would come back.

Super quiet and nice get away from the city. Only small negative was the height of the doorway to the cabin. When youâre half asleep, you may bonk your head đ my buddy and I kept knocking out heads off it every so often. Great location and wonderful cabin. Thank you for hosting

Second time coming back here! Nice forested area that provides endless quiet. Very peaceful get away, wood stove super toasty in the bunkie and the wood stands by all sites is unmatchable. Best yet even got to witness Erik land his plane!
Great place to visit, would recommend to anyone.
