It's close to many towns and restaurants and the turnpike, but surrounded by trees and a creek, it feels far away from anything demanding your attention. It's a place to relax and enjoy nature. We offer a beautiful and sacred place in the woods of Bucks County, PA. The rustic cabin includes as much privacy as you desire, with a full kitchen, small bathroom, two bedrooms, and a meditation loft. The property includes a labyrinth, prayer path, treehouse, multiple fire pits (firewood included), and a creek with a dock, bird blind, kayaks, paddle boards and a rowboat. Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive. For hikers and bikers, we offer direct access to the Schuylkill River Trail and are only a few miles from French Creek State Park. The cabin sits on the back corner of our horse farm, right along the riverbank. If you’re a horse lover, we can provide hay, feed, and a paddock with a run-in shed — or even a stall if you prefer. Weekend Trip to Solace Cabinette/Paix Cabinette

The small cabin I stayed at was very nice and simple. I loved bird song in the mornings and transparent side of the roof. The site is secluded and easy to find at the same time. There was a plenty of fire wood outside and blankets inside so nights in thirties were quite manageable and even enjoyable. And don’t miss the opportunity to get breakfast if it gets offered to you, it was outstanding experience for small additional fee.

The chapel is such a beautiful historic building that was such an extraordinary warm experience. The land is beautiful, the chapel is in fantastic shape, the horses are a majestic touch!! It’s exactly as listed: no water, no electricity, so as long as you come prepared you will absolutely have a memorable time! I think this would make a great solo, romantic, or friend group outing. I had a great time camping in this adorable little chapel. Perfect weather for it in mid April. Make sure to bring enough lanterns/candles etc. I'm definitely not used to such dim lighting at night and found myself wishing for another lantern. I also took the farm tour and Susannah was absolutely lovely.

I liked it. There were miniature ponies outside my window at night, it was cool to occasionally hear pony sounds when I was in bed. Animals were friendly. She was working on adding extra ammenaties, which I though made it look like she cared. Environment was nice. Asked for extra accomodations and she helped me out. Easy to get in.

I booked this for myself for a much needed recharge. I was ready to leave when my 15 y/o old told me she wanted to stay 1 night. They kindly accommodated the last minute change and made up the 2nd bed before we arrived. We pulled up and John and Sandy promptly came to welcome us to their place. They showed us around the cabin and let us know how to use everything. They made me feel so welcome and they seemed so happy to let us into their world there. It was the nicest check-in experience i've had anywhere. I loved the Haiku photo album and the journal for guests to write in. The very first entry was 4/29/13 (my daughter's 2nd bday) and the last one was 3/29/26 (my son's 12th bday)! I wish i had written in it bc i have a lot to say. Next time! When we met the goats was when my daughter decided she couldn't leave and ended up staying till Tues- i drove her to school till then. Holly and Hazel are cuties. Hazel liked the spotlight and when you scratched her in the right spot, her tail would wag away! The labyrinth is gorgeous- a beautiful work of art on it's own with a purpose I never knew! I enjoyed learning about them from the provided reading material. I did chat with Sandy and I decided that she is the coolest person in the world. She has great love for and intuitive wisdom of the earth, and she radiates love and acceptance. Hopefully I didn't scare her when I told her I want to become best friends.😆 Looking forward to another stay! Thank you Sandy and John!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Paix Cabinette with Host Karen. I visited with my daughter, and from the start, Karen was incredibly communicative. She responded quickly to all my questions and was very accommodating when I needed to adjust our dates, which I really appreciated. The site itself was peaceful and well laid out. Even in early spring, before everything had fully grown in, we still felt a great sense of privacy. The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. There was plenty of firewood provided. Also, there was a picnic table and chairs for around the fire. Every night we could hear owls nearby, which was such a cool experience and made the stay feel even more connected to nature. Access to the cabin and the bathroom in the main house was convenient, just a short walk away, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. It made the experience comfortable while still feeling like a true getaway. My daughter absolutely loved the trip and has already been asking when we can come back, which says everything. The space felt very safe and family-friendly, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling with small children. I also appreciated that the cabin locks. It added a nice sense of security. I had seen some comments about the bed being short, but at 5'6", I had no issues at all. Overall, this was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

I loved everything about Fernrock. I woke to the beautiful winding brook and the mossy rocks, did yoga with the sunrise. Everything was so intentional and lovingly infused on the property.
