Sleep like a log in our one-room charming cabin on a small private lake lot with non-motor boats only. Little Elk Lake is 43 acres.
Queen bed with linens provided, plus 2 adult cots with pads and sleeping bags.

The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. Weekend Trip to Cabin Getaway
Our stay at Andrea’s cabin was PERFECTION. The whole site is so thoughtfully laid out and has everything you need to have a comfortable and peaceful time. The portapotty was very clean, and the outdoor shower and sink was such a nice touch that made our stay even better. Nothing but great things to say, I can’t wait to come back. The cabin was stocked with wood available for purchase, a lantern, battery charger, fan, and solar lights which were perfect for at night! The site was incredibly private but close enough to houses and towns that it was comforting. There is no service in the area of the cabin (which I think is perfect for camping) so be aware of that for when you need directions when heading out 🤣 Also being able to walk around the property was awesome! 10000/10 will recommend and will be back.

BLT cabin is a great getaway! My daughter and I were able to get away and enjoyed the seclusion with our dog. Even though it rained most of the day Saturday, Stephanie had plenty of dry firewood that we could still cook and have a fire between storms. My daughter is young and weirded out by outhouses, but even she said Stephanie's was very clean and didn't feel like an outhouse at all! The cabin was very well stocked (we packed well anyway), but very impressive how well Stephanie makes sure guests have everything they may need. I highly recommend for families looking to get away. Plenty of seating, tables, beds. Very comfortable!

It's about a 4ish minute drive up from the main campground. The sufficient remoteness of it... In the woods, even the no running water, this no power... It was perfect for an unplugging, quiet and calm get away!! Even any traffic (which was not much at all) we were barely able to hear. Staff (Russ) was incredibly kind, accepting and welcoming. He made sure to be available to me and fiance whenever we needed, and just made our stay feel nice. Due to the nature of the cabin (aka remote) he also didn't really come up to check on us which actually felt really nice. There's two solar lights inside that you can switch on and off, with the rest of the cabin pretty much being lit by candlelight. It created an incredible ambience.
Wonderful! We'll definitely be back!! <3

- Cookingware/Silverware did not seem quite usable
- the outhouse was just... a little too gross (for us).

Weekend Trip to Cabin Getaway
This little getaway was a gem. Perfect. Secluded and cozy. I got a little turned around enroute but Andrea responded very quickly and got me back on track. My little Honda Fit reached it without any trouble. I greatly appreciated the battery powered fan and the charger. A welcome surprise. I highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to Secluded BLT Cabin
Stephanie was nice & responsive. Self check-in instructions provided ease of access. The cabin offers a totally secluded & private paradise for nothing but nature. The cabin was well stocked with essentials like dish & hand soap, basic kitchenware, sheets/extra blankets, water, TP, towels, linens, and a fan. Additionally, fishing rods, a small flashlight, and firewood were provided. I brought too much stuff lol.
Nice perks were the steps to the outhouse were well lit. A sizable can of gas was provided for the generator when needed. I enjoyed the fire pit, hiking trails, pond fishing.
Another thing is the outdoor shower aside from the outhouse. The listing mentioned not having a shower but this was a great surprise for me. Likely during the warmer months.
A tip for future guests: The drive from the main road is long, muddy (after some rain), and can be questionable for some sedans. There are multiple dips, ruts, and hills that require off-road experience, so take it slow, or better yet, bring a high-clearance or 4WD vehicle.
Also, there is no AC and the cabin holds heat well, Summer might be too hot for some; however, the windows can be opened and the host provides a collapsible screen for bug-free airflow, which helped. I would like to try the cabin out during Fall or early Winter.
I was surprised to get cell service here and there, but don't count on it. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for true solitude in nature.

This is my second time staying at this cabin. It is so peaceful and relaxing. You're set out in the middle of the woods. There's solar hot water heater (which can get very hot fast) for an open top outdoor shower (very invigorating) and sink for washing dishes etc. Beyond clean and smelling fresh Porta John!
They have a nice stack of wood at the cabin to purchase for your bonfire and a woodstove inside the cabin for cooler days/nights.
Solar lights outdoor automatic lights and indoor lights along with a battery pack if you need to plug anything in or to charge something..
Just a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors. Will definitely go back!

Another awesome 4th of July weekend at BLT cabin! Definitely enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxing on the spacious porch while our dogs played in and around the pond. The morning hikes also helped the relaxation. If you want to get away and relax to the nature sounds, BLT cabin has got you covered!! Don't forget your s'more supplies 😄

Andrea was very quick with responding to messages and the directions were very simple. Stone driveway through the field and very nice drive through the woods to get to the cabin. The cabin is very simple but cute. Outdoor sink and shower with solar powered heated water. The water was actually a little on the hot side, which surprised me but there's nothing like showering outdoors with the birds singing and seeing the trees and blue sky! Benches with the stone fire pit, hammock, a few walking paths. She has solar powered lights inside the cabin as well and outdoor light above the deck. They supply wood, but don't forget cash to put in their bucket and your fresh drinking water.
This was my first solo trip as a female and the only thing that made me uncomfortable was there is no locks on the cabin doors.. I had my dog with me. She could have very easily nudge the one door handle open and gotten out, and I know I'm not the only one that would have the fear of someone or even a bear coming in through the night with that back door.
Saying that, I had a great relaxing time with my dog and I definitely want to go back.

Weekend Trip to Best Campground Near Me
We absolutely loved our stay at Sean's campground. Rustic cabin#2 was well equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need including a mini fridge and A/C unit. Sean was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area including great restaurants to check out. Sean's commuication was really top notch! We loved the close proximity to Worlds End Statepark, as that was our reason for being in the area. I am excited to see how they continue to improve the sites and will definitely return!

3 nights at What Ever Floats Your Boat
This is a great 'glamping' basecamp for all the area has to offer (which is a lot!) Off grid with a generator for power that is easy to use when needed. Gas stove available for cooking, microwave, toaster, and drip coffee machine. There is some water provided in 5 gallon jugs for washing and drinking. There is also a water cooler that was full providing fresh, cold water for drinking. For just the weekend this was more than enough for myself. Firewood can be provided for $10/bundle or purchased in town. It is illegal to bring wood from out of state due to infestation issues. The outhouse is clean for an outhouse.
You could just relax at this site if you wanted listening to the birds and the creek with nearby mini waterfall. It's extremely peaceful. The cabin is close to the road but there are rarely cars. For waterfalls and amazing hikes, Treman State Park and Buttermilk Falls State Park are closer to the camp (15-20mins) and worth the $10 alone. If you go a little further to Watkins Glen State Park (35 mins) you won't be disappointed.
Aaron is very responsive and easy to communicate with and has lots of recommendations. Definitely worth staying here, I'm looking forward to returning!

This was an amazing getaway. My boyfriend and I didn’t leave this place all weekend. The private dock has all you need for a fun day and making some great meals on the grill were a plus! It was private, relaxing and very cozy! We recommend this place 10/10!

The space was quiet and private. Wildflowers and birds everywhere. The waterfall was a special quiet little place. Everything was ready just as Aaron said it would be. It's also quite close to the nearest little town if you need extra supplies. We would definitely come back.
