Great camping spot! The site are close enough to go with friends and not a far walk but far enough for privacy. Spot one is the close to the outhouse! Beautiful river front view! Will definitely rent again since it’s only 2hrs from Pittsburgh! My son also rented his own site with his friends! The host came and offered to go get some hot dogs for them as we weren't there yet with food. The firewood is $10 a bundle.

Every site there was river side. And everywhere I looked it was majestic. Even with flood levels on the river during this trip, we felt completely safe, and the sound of that water was all the more peaceful!

Ian's place was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything, but felt pretty private considering it was next to the house. They had electricity which was a plus. It was very easy to communicate with Ian. The place was easy to find and set up. Would definitely use them next trip to Pittsburgh.

My 2 sons and I loved camping at EarthSky! It was very secluded and we had the entire place to ourselves. Even though we didn’t catch any fish to fry (the river was extremely low), we enjoyed steak cooked over the campfire. The starry night sky was amazing and the views were simply beautiful! This place was exactly what we were looking for! My German Shepherd had the time of his life with the freedom to run around and going down to the river as well. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time camping at Earth Sky. We were fortunate to have been the only campers there, which was nice. If you are looking for seclusion though, be mindful that the 4 sites here are very close together.

We are in the low foothills of the Appalachia. Step outside your tent and enjoy natures bounty —outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking, bird watching are all at your fingertips and much more. There are 300+ acres of public land less than one mile away with miles of ATV and hiking trails and stocked ponds. If you're a fan of waterfalls just 4 miles down river is Arden Falls, one of our areas best kept secrets. The Tygart Valley River is one of the top kayaking rivers in the country. Audra State Park is less than 20 minutes away with lush forest trails with caves to explore. Well known hiking trails such as Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, and the Dolly Sods are all within an hour drive. Go to Nelson Rocks for the ultimate climbing experience on the Via Ferrata. We are the perfect place to come to explore the wild beauty of West Virginia without the crowds. A hidden gem!

Youghiogheny River put-in is less than 5 minutes away, along with Sang Run State Park and the historic Friend's Store There is an abundance of hiking, fishing, kayaking, boating, and more within minutes of the camp site.
