Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters.
Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay.
The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area.
Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here.
I live and work here, part time blacksmith and wood worker. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way.

Tons of space to spread out along the river. Gorgeous property with tall trees and privacy. We were met with a bundle of firewood brought to us by our gracious host. The Adirondack chairs were very comfortable to sit around the large fire pit. I would definitely recommend this site for campers with simple needs. Peaceful and serene location behind the host’s house, not far from amenities. Pull up a chair and relax by the river.

Great farm and great hosts! Really convenient to Hershey Park if that’s your plan. We were just passing through, but Andrew was a great host! He met us in the driveway and even walked us through where to park. It was a quiet, peaceful evening! Highly recommend!

I love spending time at Craig's property. This was my second visit and somehow it was better than the first trip which was amazing. We weren't able to paddle bc the creek was down, and it wasn't impactful to our fun at all. Just book it! And if you can check out the nearby dirt race track BAPS, fun for kids and adults alike.

I’ll be back. The amount of space you get to yourself is unbeatable, and so perfect for pets. I hate being surrounded by people when I go camping. Gorgeous spot and extremely private. Yes there is a camp across the way but it was mostly quiet and my side was completely private! Nobody to bother me or my dog. Host was super responsive and polite. The map to the spot was perfect. The hammock, chairs, table, fire pit, and tree swing was a nice addition. You have to bring your own grate if you like to cook on them, but that’s personal preference. This might be my new go to local spot.

Andrew and Laura were great hosts. Met us when we arrived, showed us the site, and gave us a hose to fill our water tank. There are 2 sites but nicely spaced out. Site 1 is very level and quite large. Closest hipcamp to Hershey Park. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was my second time at Craig’s space and it did not disappoint! Great eating, beautiful scenes and amenities galore. Me and four other friends set up a tent down by creek and woke up to some of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve seen in a while. If you’re into birding, we heard and saw all kinds of amazing feathered friends.
Our dogs explored every inch of the property and we got a chance to kayak pretty far down the Conewago creek. Craig was a master host, incredibly responsive but gave us plenty of room to feel like the space was our own.
I can’t recommend this spot enough!

Spent 3 nights on Andrew's property. I had been looking for a spot where I could essentially wake up, and roll on to my paddleboard; this was perfect! The property is spacious, even, with great balance of sun and shade! There is a family campground directly across the river, but it's just a very small strip of it that is visual, but not at all noisy or disruptive. The location is somewhat affected by road noise, but almost all during the daylight hours.
Andrew's communication was terrific! The site was clean and ready to go when I arrived, firewood brought down for me that afternoon. A composting toilet is privately tucked in just a 60 second walk from the site and is suitably clean (it's an outdoor toilet, you can only do so much lol)
I was told that the hammock, fire ring, and trash can are new, and IMO, wonderful additions!
This was such a beautiful and relaxing experience ... I am grateful to Andrew for sharing this space, and I am already brainstorming my stay for next summer!

This was our second stay on Craig's little slice of Heaven and it was just as lovely as the first go round. This trip we saw wild turkeys, deer, countless hummingbirds, toads, and more. Our dog, Thor, had a ball running around off leash. Highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed Andrews beautiful campsite! It's fully secluded but close to town,
Our kids really enjoyed the land, it's very spacious with swings and a hammock. The river is beautifuy clean and perfect depth to swim.
Additionally we enjoyed paddling on the river.
Andrew is exceptionally responsive and helpful and accommodates anything you need.
