Everything that we sell is grown or produced on-site with the intention of nurturing the soil and ecology of the land. From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. The spot is complete tranquility. In a span of 3 days, I only had one passerby on an ATV, otherwise it is basically in the woods, and the nature is impressive all around you. There is no power and barely any cel coverage (almost none really) so be ready for that, but there was plenty of wood for the woodstove, and I was offered to stay an extra 12+ hours if I needed, which added to the "no stress" time I had. The hosts are quick to respond and let me be otherwise. I would stay again.

Weekend Trip to Secluded BLT Cabin

I stayed two nights with my son and our dog. We had a very nice time. We bought plenty of supplies, but if we forgot something, place was very well stocked even with extra fishing poles. I enjoyed fishing in the little pond. caught about 20 Blue Gills and a few frogs. We ran the generator during the day and enjoyed the peace and quiet at night. There is no WiFi so download some games or movies on your phone, bring a book or whatever you choose to pass the time. We bought meat in a cooler and grilled on the fire pit. There is a Walmart not too far if you need somethings. The only down side which is no fault of the host is the ride up to the lodge from the main road which is rocky, with some dips. My car is low to the ground so I had to ride on it very carefully.

We had a lovely trip to Journey’s End! We typically tent camp but found this cabin to be a perfect fit for our annual camping trip! It was close to hiking and white water rafting (within an hour), and had the perfect vibe for our evenings at the site. The land was gorgeous. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area- thank you for the lovely getaway!

Stephanie was a very helpful and friendly host and the cabin was absolutely what we looking for. It had all the amenities we needed to sleep/cook/relax comfortably while being completely private and peaceful. Another lovely visit to Journey's End! We were early in the season so it was chilly, but we had an amazing time away from home with friends. We rented both cabins and both treehouses so the kids in the group had different places to explore and options for sleeping. Made for a very fun weekend; visiting the goats and chickens, cooking by the fire, even got a little fishing in on the small pond in the back of the property. And we wouldn't leave a weekend at JE without bringing home some of their maple syrup - it's really amazing. Highly recommend a visit!
