The town of Harrisburg is such a cool, easy-going, quaint place to spend some time. Accessibility is one of its' key assets. Harrisburg has a few family owned places to eat at, and a few shops to explore. It's a one light town, but that is why we love it here. The river is my favorite part. I sit for hours on end, watching the water flow by. Fishing, rafting/floating, and wading in the water are all fun things to do here. If you are looking for something just to get off the highway for the night, or for a longer stay, this is a great quiet place to be. We do have several dogs on the property (in a fenced area away from camp sites), and they do bark when excited, so please consider this before booking. We live in the home on the property and can respond quickly if you need anything. Camp sites are off the highway and behind a gate, mostly out of view from the road; however, as we live on the property, it is not entirely secluded/private, and there will be noise from the highway.
This is a multiple-tent/RV area, and our house is at the top of the driveway, so there may also be minimal traffic passing by your site. There is abundant wildlife on our property, including deer, wild turkeys, black bears (rarely seen), many varieties of birds, and more.
While this is exciting and beautiful to see, it is also very important to take safety precautions. Please keep all food contained and secure any garbage. We welcome you to our property and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We stayed 2 nights in late Nov while in the area for a U of O game and it was nice (although quite cold). Go Ducks!! This was a great camping spot that was very private and quiet. We got to Eugene in under 15 minutes. We will likely be back but in warmer weather next time. Thanks for a smooth experience.

Nice friendly little town.
The spot was a great place for sunsets and reading on the deck.
We were here in fall and there were no bugs. We did see a pack of river otters right below the house that were fun to watch.
Super dog friendly area with people jogging and strolling by. Dog friendly park right doen the street and even a dog bad dispenser less than a block away .
Felt safe.
Close to stores and the Vu, a nice little pub with good, great selection of beer and cider (didn't try the mixed drinks) and pool tables (free pool on Sundays FYI).
Next time we in the area this is out go to spot.

Quiet & serene setting nestled among 100 ft.+ mature fir trees.
The landscape is natural, with the river close by. A great setting if you like nature (which I do.) A short walk(for me) to a well maintained hot shower & sink for bathing.
It’s a Very quiet spot, and as a small tent camper not needing an open fire or other “camping”amenities, it was, and will continue to be perfect for me.
