The site works really well for large families and those that love to fish. It has a great pathway from camp site down to river and parking for multiple trailers. We have enjoyed this site two years in a row with groups from 20-25 people; all active adults and teenagers.

It was so quiet. We had tent camper about 100yds down the meadow. Kinda forgot they were there. The river was warmer than I thought it would be. Bonus!
Will definitely return.

Tyee's camp is a great and spacious place that is easily accessible from the main road and right on the river. The host was very responsive, accommodating, and great to work with. The porta-potty's could use more frequent servicing. While the river is great, improving access via clearing a few additional trail through the brambles at various points along the campsites would be excellent to help people spread out and appreciate the natural beauty.

We loved our stay at Tyee farm! There is a gorgeous spot on the river to hang out and watch the day light disappear, and we found the spot we selected felt perfectly secluded, private, and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!!
Brent was a great host! Despite some issues with the electricity and water source he was able to figure things out and made it all worked out! We loved the clean site and beautiful riverside! Lots of fishing and swimming! Will definitely go back again! Thanks Brent!!

This is a difficult review to write. We had a great weekend at this spot and I would likely return. BUT, there are quite a few things that I wish I had known prior to booking this site. First, none of the sites are marked. If Brent wasn't there when we arrived, I would have had zero idea where to park our trailer. That is an issue other campers who showed up after us had. We had the only spot with hook ups and it is a large spot. The river access is shared and pretty steep and a bit overgrown. Luckily for us the other site with hookups was down and not rented, otherwise groups could be camping pretty close together, which is what we try to avoid by using Hipcamp. Also, the tent sites can pack quite a few people in them, making the property pretty full. There is plenty of room to spread out, but only 2 porta pots, and one was FULL when we arrived. Needless to say, the amount of people that were there for our 3 nights easily filled the second porta pot, which was pretty gross. The property is also pretty overgrown in places. Our site had zero shade during the day, and we cooked when not on the river. The riverbank is great however. Large amount of flat rocks to set up chairs and hang out. The water is pretty mellow in this spot which makes it great for swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking. The fishing was really good too. Overall, I am torn, there was a lot of good to this site, but also a lot of things that had the potential to ruin our trip.

What should we say - I think it is an okay site in a decent location. Unfortunately a large group had occupied all water and electricity hook ups when we arrived even though we paid extra for it. Not the hosts fault but the camp sites are not really marked or anything. Things don’t look to be in great shape unfortunately. An old inflatable boat is lying around as well other random things. Our kids loved the trampoline. The meadow was mowed but really uneven. Feels like only the absolute necessary is done here which is fine in general but the price should reflect that. We paid more than $100 per night, yes we booked short notice for 4th of July, but was just not good value for money.

Had a wonderful time at our annual family camp. We had a 29ft travel trailer that we had no problem getting in place and there was 30amp power and water to hook up too! Caught fish every day and great river swims. Be sure to bring sun shades because the weather gets hot!

Great river location! Easy kayak launch and swimming hole. Lots of flat rock for chilling. As advertised, the tent sites are basic spots in a mowed field. Plenty of room to spread out and still have real estate between guests. The portapotty had been serviced. No complaints!

The river view is breathtaking, along with the forested canyon and the many eagles and osprey. However, the camping area and property are pretty untidy (lots of equipment and detritus around). The porta potty was in desperate need of servicing.

Large group sites were perfect for multi family camping weekend. Shade trees help during heat of the day and river fishing/swimming were perfect for our kids. Recommend Kayak or float to access best water for fishing

Great spot along the Umpqua with river access for fishing or relaxing. My boys caught a couple of bass while we were there. Cornhole set up was nice. Definitely hot, but can cool off in the river. Highly recommend.

Great sight, great views! Right off the main road too
We truly enjoyed ourselves with friends. We recommend the RV area with 30 amp. Plenty of space for more than 1 camp trailer even tho we were happy to be the only ones there. Dogs loved being off leashes and going down to the water. Water was warm. There is a place to put your chairs out to enjoy the sun. We will be back soon.

Overall it was fine. The only thing that bothered me was the noise from the highway.
We enjoyed camping with our friends. The dogs loved being able to roam about. We took advantage of the 30 amp hookup which we haven't used since we bought our camp trailer. The water was warm and able to paddle board. The place on the water was a great place to sunbathe. We have the place to ourselves except for tent campers whom never bothered us. We will be back! Beautiful spot on river!! Outhouse was clean. Absolutely gorgeous place , little too much highway noise , but it was also easy to get to!
