GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. We had a wonderful stay at Geercrest - the cabins were really cozy, the kids loved the lofts, and I loved reading about the history of the property with coffee on the deck! The hosts have put a lot of thought into amenities and while rustic, it feels like a glamorous upgrade from the state park yurts and cabins we've stayed at. We can't wait to come back again. The Guest House on the Farm is such a lovely and cozy place to stay! We experienced a power outage for 15+ hours from the storm, but Kristin made us feel safe and at so at home. Having all of the candles lit up around the house made the place even cozier. We loved how spacious the farmhouse was and seeing the beautiful fall leaves outside of the big windows. We also loved the close proximity to Silverton - such a sweet town! Hoping to come back to this hidden gem again to enjoy the cedar hot tub!
