This 40 acre working ranch is located just 6 miles east of Bend with the Cascade Range as a beautiful backdrop. Located at the entrance of the popular Badlands. Buffalo and yaks will entertain you with their grazing and antics. There is a canal running through the ranch as well as a pond with waterfowl. Stroll along the access path and see if you can spot eagles on the tall eagle perches.

Park in our large wrap-around driveway under our beautiful Ponderosa pines and fall asleep to the gorgeous view of the stars with no obnoxious streetlights. Don’t worry, we have a flood light and cameras to keep you and your stuff safe! Then wake up to the smell of our Juniper trees and watch our local group of mule deer grazing through the yard with views of Tumalo Mountain. Just across the street starts the Canal Trail that heads East and West. A 5 min bike ride East along the trail will take you to a Fred Meyer Grocery store, Starbucks, and much much more. Or take the Canal Trail West through the massive 123+ acres of forested public land that connects directly to the Deschutes River Trail (only 4 mins away). Once there, the outdoor activities are endless! Great fishing, bouldering, biking, swimming, rafting, and nature viewing spots are all within a couple minute walk from our home. Heading to the Old Mill or Hayden Homes Amphitheater for some shopping, a concert, restaurants, or drinks? It all starts 3/4 of a mile down the hill! If you’re viewing this posting, you probably already know all the amazing outdoor and sporting opportunities, entertainment, shopping, and eating that our beautiful town of Bend offers. Located 9 miles east of Bend our 40 acre ranch is full of open fields and juniper forest. We have cows, chickens, geese and ducks that live on the ranch and you will most likely see them roaming around the fields. The nights are quiet with the exception of frogs and crickets and offer a full night sky without light pollution.

Campsite is on a second driveway to the front of the house on a wooded, half-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood in Southwest Bend. House lots are big and the area provides nice cool morning walks. There is a curb at the start of the driveway but aids will be provided if necessary.
Electrical (110x2; 50A with converter to 30A), water, and sewer hookups are available! The sewer hookup may not work if your drain is underneath your vehicle and low to the ground.
There is a fenced in yard that may be used if your dog(s) get along with mine and you help with poop patrol. You will need to check the fence line to confirm that your dogs cannot get out, as I am not responsible if they escape. A large part of my yard is rewilding, so you will see tall grasses and increasing varieties of flowers over the years.
A hot tub may be available by appointment. House is enhanced by the use of focused life force energy (FLFE.net), so enjoy relaxing in the higher vibes. There is one cat to rule us all and she may grace you with her presence if you welcome her. And a border collie to guard anyone she deems as part of her "flock."
Site is located an easily walkable ½ mile from a shopping center with grocery (just closed but hoping for another to take its place), vet, Mexican and Asian-fusion restaurants, and a wine bar with occasional entertainment. Beyond that, is a park with a climb to a tall hill with a lovely 360 overlook view of the surrounding mountains.
There is access to the river and river trail about ¾ mile walk away - this trail can take you all the way to Farewell Park and the Old Mill shopping area. And a bus stop is around the corner, just about a house length away.
This is a great base location for all your adventures in Bend and surrounding areas, and a quiet place in which to relax afterwards.

Mckenzie has put a lot of thought and effort into his ranch and offering a comfortable, welcoming experience. The land itself is beautiful. The ranch dogs are a super bonus! We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to book again if we come his way.

This is our second time staying at Zen Vibes. Kathy is a wonderful host who provided us with a safe and clean place to stay for our time in Bend. She is located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees for scenery. We appreciate that this is located a couple of miles from popular attractions like the Hayden Homes Ampitheater and the Deschutes River Trail near Downtown Bend. Always a pleasure staying here! My daughter and I stayed here after three days hiking. It’s a quiet, spacious spot on green grass, with privacy and a clean bathroom. WiFi was a plus and worked great. Don’t let the title fool you, the cows grazing around with the calves playing were a great part of the experience and not a bother at all. 10/10

This is my 2nd review. Zen vibes is a nice driveway in a nice neighborhood with electric, water, and septic available. It is a super dog friendly neighborhood and a great place to walk your dogs.
Kathy is very communicative and easy to talk to. Great location if you are doing things in that part of Bend.

“Zen Vibes” is a wide, long and mostly level driveway on the side of Kathy’s front yard. It’s in a nice neighborhood and walking our dogs was a pleasure there. The neighborhood seems to cater to dog walking. The space is well shaded and has electric , water, and septic hook up. Kathy was very communicative and easy to talk to.

We had a wonderful experience trailer camping at Makenzie’s ranch. The spot was very easy to access, yet felt very comfortable and private. We appreciated the access to electric hookup and water pump, and the table and chairs set up to eat our breakfast watching the cows in the morning! We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the Bend area!

The place was great. Julie is Mckenzie‘s mother the place that we parked or camp was away from everybody. It was easy access in and out. Be wary of the roundabouts in band lol and we have a 35 foot trailer. It was a level spot we just put our stabilizers out and they even have power and water that you can use as needed And it’s beautiful where they live and very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely go back there again thanks Julie and Mckenzie.
