The loft is equipped with a night relief station, an old-fashioned water basin, a refrigerator, a microwave, beds to sleep four, a table and chairs, a sitting area, rocking horses, a weight area, and room to romp (no shower).
More than 20 art projects are available, along with a horse experience (for a fee, no riding), walking trails through the woods, a play structure, picnic area, garden and fruit trees (in season), a fire pit, a barbecue, and plenty of happy pause places to relax.

Eagle Mountain Farm and Retreat is located in a picturesque, healthy forest outside Cottage Grove, Oregon. We offer two tent sites, a 20' yurt, and an intimate bedroom bungalow, available year-round for Hipcamp guests.
Our mountain property sits at the end of a private residential road, close to I-5 and downtown Cottage Grove. Alongside the hosts’ house, there are a few other residents on the property. The area is rich with recreation opportunities, including biking, hiking, canoeing, boating, mushroom hunting, swimming, hunting and fishing, gold panning, rockhounding, and wildlife viewing.
Eugene and the University of Oregon campus (including Hayward Field) are just 30 minutes away. It’s about an hour to the Oregon Coast, 15 minutes to Cottage Grove Lake, and 30 minutes to Dorena Reservoir. Umpqua National Forest is also nearby, with stunning waterfalls such as Spirit, Moon, and Pinard Falls only 45 minutes to an hour away.
The Cottage Grove area is known for its covered bridges, mining history, and the scenic Row River Trail bike path. Film buffs may recognize local spots from Buster Keaton’s The General, Stand By Me, and Animal House. You’ll also find nearby farms, breweries, and vineyards offering tours and tastings.
We are cannabis-friendly and ask that guests use responsibly.
Well-behaved, friendly pets are welcome, but they must be attended at all times, as our neighbors keep goats and chickens. Three pets also live on the property: two dogs (Choco and Nola) and one cat (Cosmo).

6 nights at Eagle Mountain Farm and Retreat
The shed converted into a stay was perfection. Bed was comfortable, heater worked to
heat the entire area, and Arthur's hospitality was out of this world. The outdoor shower was incredible, the sauna experience luxury, and overall the relaxing getaway we needed when looking for an apartment to rent in the area. Communication was easy, Arthur would respond within minutes. Access to a community kitchen, ease of finding the location, and the privacy granted is not common for shares like this but was easily available here. We will 1000% be back for the tent camping side or just to revisit this specific stay again. My only recommendations would be new camping chairs out front and a closer spot to store food near the sleeping area.

Weekend Trip to Buena Vista Lavender Farm
I wish I could have stayed more than one night but the Guest house was perfect. The area is so incredibly beautiful. Communication with Connie and her daughter was clear and friendly, any questions were quickly answered. The animals were the icing on the cake! 5 stars on everything!

Weekend Trip to Buena Vista Lavender Farm
The tiny home was very cute and cozy! We especially loved the kitchen space. It was perfect for two people. The property was peaceful and well maintained, considering it is a working farm. The animals were all lovely to see (avoid the brown rooster though) & we saw lots of chunky tadpoles in the pond. The hosts were generous in sharing fresh blackberries, pears, apples, and grapes. We ran into a few other guests as well, who were very kind. A great place to stay for those wanting to be in nature!

Connie does such an excellent job with the properties on Buena Vista Lavender Farm. The views were as advertised, the home was impeccably maintained, the directions were clear, and the hospitality was superb. We stayed here at "Little Tiny" for one night on a Pacific Northwest road trip, and it was just as stunning as tent camping on the Pacific Ocean at Second Beach in Olympic National Park. Would recommend to anyone!

Buena Vista Lavender Farm is a beautiful place run by a caring and welcoming family. Our family of 4 stayed in "Big Tiny," an expertly appointed tiny home that was comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated the little extras in the kitchen (microwave popcorn, oatmeal, tea, coffee), and the things that made it feel like home (books, blankets, games). Note that one of the beds is accessed by a ladder and could be difficult for less agile guests, though I did appreciate the safety railing across that sleeping loft. Our favorite part of the stay was watching the sun set over the lavender fields, then going over to the barn to meet and pet all the farm animals. Connie and her family are gracious hosts and told us all about their resident chickens, goats, sheep, alpacas, donkey, mini horse, kittens, and dogs. Of all the places we stayed on our west coast road trip, this stay was voted #1 by my two daughters (ages 9 and 13).

This was my fourth stay at the lavender farm. My little dog loves it because he can run without a leash and he’s safe. I have stayed 3 times at the tiny house and once at the tiny big house. Connie the host is lovely as is her husband and daughter. They’ve always made sure that I have had a lovely stay every time

The tiny house was lovely nice shower and toilet and a balcony to sit out on. And my dog was able to run around except I put him on the leash when we went to look at the farm and the animals. There was internet and tv and it was private and peaceful. If there had been availability I would’ve stayed an extra night. There was also a bed to sleep upstairs but I preferred to sleep downstairs. It was perfect.

My only regret about this stay was that it wasn’t longer. I stayed in the Big Tiny House and it was adorable! It had everything I needed and more. There were so many little touches and the sunset and sunrise were stunning. I hope I get to stay again some time!
