Cornerstone Ranch is a pristine Ranch of about 500 acres on the Rogue River and against the Pacific Ocean offering too many experiences to count. You can even bring your horse...Located at 94589 N. Bank Rogue River Road i Gold Beach. FYI, Hipcamps map for site locations is not correct. Two go next to the driveway and the other four follow the creek. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome... The ranch offers 7 different campsites and a Cabin. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a flush toilet in off season and additional Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"

Welcome to Sunset Bay Meadows! We have several tent/RV sites, and a yurt. Our spaces are quite large and essentially each site is a group site. Once a dairy farm and part of the old Simpson estate our property offers mushroom picking seasonally whey you may find Chanterelle & Hedgehog mushrooms. We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property. Lots of hiking trails and you can connect with Sunset Bay State Park our neighbor. We have a private, secluded campground that is wind sheltered with approximately 20 acres of space in which to use our covered table, picnic tables, fire pit, fire rings at individual campsites, BBQ, sauna and outdoor propane-fired shower. The camp area is tucked away among large spruce trees and open meadows which lead to endless trails on the property, with the option to buy a round of golf at Sunset Bay Golf Course, which is right next door to the camp area. We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids. The Whiskey Run mountain bike trails are a short drive away and are truly world-class trails. The Sunset Bay State Park has a huge trail network that spans the cliff line all the way from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago. Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston is a great spot to pick up local seafood. BBQ some oysters on the grill or pick up some fresh fish and enjoy the bounty of the coast. Charleston, just 3.5 miles away, also has some great restaurants and local shops to truly make your stay memorable. Only friendly dogs allowed and leashed or under voice command.

There is an active farm and wedding venue across the river. You may hear distant noise of their operations or events, depending on the season. There is also a quarry across the road that operates M-F, from 8a-3p that sometimes can be heard sporadically throughout the day.

This was the best little get away for us! We were warmly greeted by hosts Kae and Alex. What a lovely couple! Their spot is magical, private, cozy and so special. The glamping tent is adorable and so much thought went into all of the personal touches. The beautiful rug you step in to, the little electric fireplace, the flickering lanterns, the string lights around the top, the cute little rocking chair with a hand made blanket for your lap, The bookshelf stocked with cool old books and games and on top of the bookshelf a personally handwritten Happy Anniversary card for us!! They furnished some eggs from their chickens and even had a laminated picture of the "chicken of the day"! Miss Myrtle the chicken provided us breakfast :) There is a sweet resident guardian of the property, River the dog. He is a sweetie and enjoys popping by now and then to be sure we were doing ok. He even accompanied us on a trail walk before heading back home for his dinner. This was a wonderful time unplugged and cant recommend it enough!

Weekend Trip to Tide's Reach of the Umpqua

This tucked away spot right on the Umpqua river was one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. We swam in the river, cooked wonderful meals, and slept amazingly. The local street, and town were so welcoming. Lots of hidden nature spots, as well. The hosts were phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal, in communication, and suggestions, and how they prepared the space for our stay, etc. Truly 10/10. I will be coming back! Their guest book says it all- all of the things you need were there, the details provided a truly special getaway, and I am so glad we found this place! You will be lucky to come stay here.

We loved loved loved our experience at Kae’s riverfront camp! It was totally private, and the tent was so cozy and comfortable. The river was at our doorstep, and it was a great spot for swimming and relaxing tubing. The site was close to attractions like Brookings and a redwood hike, but we also were happy to just stay at the site and relax and hang out. We definitely plan to come back!

Me and my girlfriend had such an amazing time at Jeff’s camp. The view was breathtaking and the river was perfect for kayaking on the provided kayaks and swimming when it was sunny out. The dome was incredibly comfortable and the kitchen shed proved an amazing addition. Everything was easy to use and Jeff was amazing with his communication our entire stay. Reaching out multiple times so make sure we had anything who may need. My only complaint would be we couldn’t stay longer!

My extended family (4 grown children, spouses, 3 toddlers and 2 dogs!!) enjoyed using both of the sites on Sarah's property. What a special place!! A delightful little cabin, beautiful scenery, SO many amenities (hammock, clean porta-potties, tables, campfire, crab pots for rent, the list goes on and on) and I have NEVER met a more responsive and accommodating host. Having both sites was ideal for our large group - but on the final night I was there by myself in the remote tent site and that was DIVINE. Quiet and peaceful; frogs chirping, birds singing. I can't wait to come back!

This glamping spot on the Winchuck River is spectacular! The privacy and connection with nature was estounding. The sounds of birds and the river was trully so relaxing. This place is a sweet treasure tucked into a beautiful coastal valley so close to Brookings and so many fabulous beaches.

1 night at Powder Creek Campground

My family and I had an incredible stay at Powder Creek. Everything was exactly as listed, if not better! The cabin was spotless, and we loved being right next to the water! The hosts are friendly & the property is beautiful! Even the dog was impressed. No one else was camping, so it was incredibly private. Would’ve loved to stay longer!

Weekend Trip to Sunset Bay Meadows

I loved the serene setting and gorgeous, unrestricted views of the night sky. Although we didn't use the showers or sauna, they were clean and available. The kids thought the chicks and open space to play baseball were the best part of the trip! I also appreciated how easy going and relaxed the site is about friendly dogs. Thanks for a great stay! We'd love to come back. Oh! The portapotties were also spotless!

Weekend Trip to Bandon

This is a beautiful property and a very cute little cabin. We loved the privacy, the quiet, we never saw another person during our stay. My kid and I rode our bikes around the cranberry bogs. It felt like we had the whole farm to ourselves! It was a great experience.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Riverfront Camp: 12 Acres

Beautiful location and very kind hosts. They were so nice and friendly, and even gave us eggs for our travels! They provided us with tubes for tubing, and all the amenities of a home. My boyfriend and I felt very cozy and at home in this adorable tent!!
