Truly a special place along the Oregon Coast. Situated in a very private dry camping site on nearly 5 acres that are surrounded by national forest. Enjoy the sounds of the babbling brook just below the site, and the sound of the waves crashing at the nearby beach. A short 1/4 mile drive gets you to beach access and enjoying walking on some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. Convenient access to Hwy 101 makes this a great spot to explore from. So many great activities year round on the Oregon coast, including hiking, mushroom hunting, whale watching, Off roading, and amazing restaurants and shops.

We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. I did hammock camping and it was awesome. The camp spots they have are super sweet, with a nice parking unloading spot right next to their outdoor kitchen. There’s a wheelbarrow to help unload your things(it’s not far, but comes in handy if you’ve got more than a handful) and lots of signs to help direct you to everything. The sauna was pretty much amazing.. almost as amazing as the people there! I would recommend to anyone and look forward to returning!! . Still kinda putting it all together but he has created something wonderful. It was a peaceful retreat in nature.

This place was a tucked away gem. The site is easily accessed, has plenty of room for vehicle and trailer and is quite gorgeous being surrounded by woods. Was wonderful to hear the surf and access to beach was close. Only drawback was road noise since it’s close to 101 but benefits outweighed that minor intrusion since the surf sounds often drowned out cars. Would highly recommend this for a one or two night stay since you have to bring your own water in.

This camp is a clearing under tall trees located between 2 homes, with a beautiful view of the river. It was dark and quiet at night. There's a deck for sitting on and viewing but it's not the same one to access the river. River access is in front of the hosts house. Debbie's facilities are wonderful. A clean bathroom, morning drinks and even a microwave and little refrigerator. Theres a comfy couch if you get rained out! This location is perfect for playing in Lincoln city and then returning for the night. Info if you're wondering about presences of dogs; They were barely around, quiet and friendly. We would recommend this site for anyone with minimal camping gear, because Debbie has you covered.

Where to go

Oregon's Central Coast

Due west of Monroe, the Central Coast region features a mix of cities and forest areas, with plenty of camping opportunities both in state parks and on private land. It’s also a great spot for whale-watching, particularly in early winter and spring.

Willamette Valley Wine Country

Oregon’s Willamette Valley is internationally known for its excellent pinots. There are tons of excellent wineries offering tours and tastings within a short drive of Monroe.

The Siuslaw National Forest

This 630,000-acre forest offers a mix of dense old-growth forest and coastal expanses. It's ideal for camping and hiking, with miles and miles of well-maintained trails plus a range of inland and Oceanside campgrounds.

When to go

Like much of Western Oregon, Monroe is best visited in the summertime, when temperatures soar and the chance of rain decreases dramatically. The busy season runs between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and July and August are particularly busy with campers, especially on the weekends. Come in September after kids are back in school if you want good weather without the crowds.
