GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. Glamping in the Barn at Confluence Arts Center The Barn space is 750 square feet (30' x 25') with a full kitchen, 1.5 baths, and a queen sized murphy bed. The Barn lives in a Douglas Fir surrounded corner of the property, and sits on what was once a Christmas tree farm. The barn was built from repurposed Christmas trees that were left unattended for years. We had a wonderful stay at Geercrest - the cabins were really cozy, the kids loved the lofts, and I loved reading about the history of the property with coffee on the deck! The hosts have put a lot of thought into amenities and while rustic, it feels like a glamorous upgrade from the state park yurts and cabins we've stayed at. We can't wait to come back again. Camp Colton is an awesome place to visit! Their property is large and has a lot of activities to explore (animal petting area, trails on the property, and a fishing pond). They've got a variety of awesome structures including cabins, a tiny home, yurts, and a communal covered fire pit gazebo. The Beehive cottage met my expectations perfectly, it was clean, warm, and tucked into the trees right by a creek that runs through the property. It was perfect for a quick getaway, while providing comfortable amenities during a cold and rainy Oregon fall evening. The bed is perfectly comfortable, and was made prior to my arrival. The host provided towels and linens, I didn't need to bring anything extra. Additionally, there is a covered back patio which is a perfect spot to sit out and listen to the babble of the creek and wildlife spot. I would recommend a stay here!

Weekend Trip to Crooked Finger Farms

The Guest House on the Farm is such a lovely and cozy place to stay! We experienced a power outage for 15+ hours from the storm, but Kristin made us feel safe and at so at home. Having all of the candles lit up around the house made the place even cozier. We loved how spacious the farmhouse was and seeing the beautiful fall leaves outside of the big windows. We also loved the close proximity to Silverton - such a sweet town! Hoping to come back to this hidden gem again to enjoy the cedar hot tub!

One of my favorite cabin stays Ive ever experienced! The land is magical and the cabin was so cozy and inviting with thoughtful touches. My favorite place was the loft, waking up to the windows surrounding you with beautiful trees and rain pouring on the roof- can’t get much better. My partner and my dog and I felt very welcomed by Danny and Molly and we hope to return!

Staying at the flying f ranch was so relaxing and refreshing. The cows did make their way up to the cabin and it was so cool getting to watch them. Brent and Tabitha showed us up to the cabin and were very nice, they were welcoming and had a beautiful property! Definitely get some steaks, eggs and ground beef!! They were delicious!! The porch sitting is awesome as well!

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying at this special spot for a friends getaway. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive. The cabin is so well thought-out, and it's lovely to see the creativity and time that has gone into this property. It's so nice to be able to walk right out the door and hike their private trails, listen to the creek, and relax. We arrived right after fire restrictions were lifted, so we were able to use the outdoor fire pit and look at the stars. We also used the sauna every day we were there. It has an electric sauna heater and a small woodstove, so you can choose your heat source, and the short little path down to the cold dip in the creek is genius. Some folks in reviews have mentioned the composting toilets--as some of our group lives entirely off-grid, we were actually taking pictures of their setup because it's really well designed. Just think of all the water you're saving in the world. The property itself is well cared for, and their little dog is such a cutie. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Camp Colton

We had a wonderful relaxing few nights at Camp Colton. It was wonderfully quiet with only crickets, the creek, and birdsong. We loved exploring the trails with our pup. The puffball yurt was perfect for two of us plus our dog. It was warm during the chilly nights, had electricity, the fire pit had a great grill top, and the nearby bathrooms were nice. Even waking up to the sound of rain on the roof one morning was nice! Highly recommend and we'll be back.

GeerCrest Farm is a little slice of heaven! We rented the bunkhouse for our daughter’s birthday and the girls had the best time exploring the property. So many fun things to do and lovely spots to enjoy. The hosts were very gracious and helpful - setting up badminton for the kids to play, and loaning us a camp stove so we could heat up some soup. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic and relaxing time with our pups. They loved running around in the grass, and sleeping inside by the cozy wood stove. The yurt is completely equipped, we barely had to bring more than some food and our clothes! We walked over to the winery next door, wandered the trails on the property, and relaxed with games and books. A really special weekend!
