Grange Hall Gardens

3 sites · RVs26 acres · Molalla, OR
Weekend/weekday get away with indoor and outdoor activities ! Grange Hall Garden's RV spots include a 30' X 70' Grange type hall with some arcade style games, restroom with tub and shower, and kitchen. Rain or shine, get away for a refreshing time. The RV Garden Spot is situated by three gardens on our ranch: A heavenly scented and restful flower garden with hanging basket seats and swing; a peaceful rose garden with stream and fish pond complete with goldfish and koi; and a fruitful vegetable garden. RV View Spot has an amazing view right outside your door. It has lots of green grass for pets and children to run and play, or just sit in your lawn chair and enjoy the spectacular view. In fair weather, enjoy moseying through our 13 acres of century old oaks, swinging in antique tree swings with amazing views, and picnicking in our private park or playing a round of 20-hole miniature golf. This is a working ranch with goats and nearby cattle. Therefore, we have livestock guard dogs whose job it is to bark at coyotes and let them know that they are not welcome on our property. Expect to hear the dogs warning potential predators to stay away, especially at night. Our ranch is located less than 30 minutes from the picturesque and historic cities of Silverton, and Mount Angel. Nearby nature attractions include Silver Falls State Park, The Oregon Gardens, Champoeg Park, Feyrer Park and many more. To the north you can enjoy the scenic town of Estacada and its many nearby city, county and state parks for boating, hiking, fishing, and site seeing. We are also a short, breath taking, hour and a half drive to either Hood River and Mount Hood recreational activities or the beautiful Oregon coast.

Bigfoot Acres

3 sites · RVs, Tents6 acres · Estacada, OR
This area is known as Bigfoot Acres for obvious reasons. The Western Sasquatch has been spotted many times in the woods around this site. There are plenty of adventures to be had while out searching for the elusive Bigfoot. This property is located within walking distance of Mount Hood National Forest and within a fifteen minute drive of several lakes, rivers and even an Off Road vehicle area. All of our sites are "pull through" type sites and give you plenty of room to spread out. Each site has a fire pit to keep you warm while gazing at the amazing night sky. Even if you don't leave the property you will find plenty of things to do. Visit our pond (currently still under construction) to view wildlife, find a new trail, stargaze or just enjoy the peace and quiet. During the winter you can explore miles of backcountry roads on snowshoes or skies as we tend to be very near the snow line most of the winter. We look forward to providing you with the best camping experience possible!

Hoodland Basecamp on Scrumpy Farest

8 sites · Lodging, Tents39 acres · Sandy, OR
Looking for a home-base for travels throughout Hoodland, inlcuding the coast, the Cascades, and the Columbia River Gorge? We're 30 miles west of Timberline on Mt. Hood, 35 miles east of downtown Portland, and just a couple of minutes off the main thoroughfare (Hwy 26) that connects the two. Would a quick and easy getaway from the hustle of city life suit you? This is your spot for imbibing the forest without the chaos of crowded campgrounds. How 'bout taking the family on an adventure in farm living? See what a real working regenerative farm looks and smells like!! The sheep, chickens, ducks, pigs, berries, and a forest playground will inspire your imaginations. Whatever you're looking for, you're guaranteed to enjoy a bit of wild living, farm shenanigans, and yourself while you're here. Our farm consists of 12 acres of garden, food forest, and silvopasture systems; 20 acres of regenerating forest, pond and wetland ecosystems for wildlife and native plants and animals; and 7 acres of farm buildings and infrastructure. Our approach to raising food and stewarding our lands focuses on building ecological resilience and diversity. We have seven private tent campsites hidden in the forest but easily accessible by flat walking trails. Each camp oasis includes a level wood-chip pad for one tent, redwood stools and tables, and languid moments of absolute refuge and quiet (unless our livestock guardian dog hears a nighttime prowler - in which case, you'll hear some protective barking). Plenty of large trees perfect for stringing a hammock surround every camp pad. And every site is a short walk from a central camp amenities station with a toilet, hot water showers and wash sinks. One of our sites (#7) is equipped with a vintage canvas tent; just bring your own bedding and essentials and save yourself the effort of setting up and taking down a tent! You're welcome to walk the 2+ miles of farm trails and paths, check in on the animals, survey the farm pond, and find a spot for a forest bath or rest. Please stay out of farm buildings, avoid OFF-trail walking (to protect our delicate farm and forest ecosystems), and close all gates after you pass through them (even if you found them open for some reason)! Because of fire hazards, we cannot have camp fires between May 1 and December 1. Please pack out all of your trash and leave your campsite as tidy as (or... for the best camp karma, leave it better than!) you found it. Pets are not allowed because of food and farm animal safety. The Back 40

1 site · RV1 acre · Gresham, OR
The RV site backs up to Southwest Community Park, 41.9 acres, an undeveloped nature park in the Southwest Gresham Neighborhood (East Portland). The Park is partially wooded and slopes east towards 19 acres of Fairview Creek Headwaters. Views include Grant and Jenne Buttes and Mt. St. Helens. The Park contains a large Western Red Cedar/Mixed Tree Grove and a Douglas Fir Grove, both of which are identified on the City’s significant tree list. The Park provides valuable wildlife and fish habitat, and will be preserved, protected and enhanced as part of the City’s conservation effort. Learn more about this land: This is a great neighborhood spot to park with full amenities just outside of Portland, while having immediate access to 40 wooded acres with walking path and .7 mi to the Springwater Trail for biking/running. 25 mins to downtown Portland; Easy day trips that are ~30 minutes drive to Waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge (Bridal Veil, Multnomah Falls) or under an hour to Mt. Hood for time in the snow!  Fenced in backyard for any of your 4-legged friends to stretch. Gas fire pit, gas grill and patio table + lounge chairs are all open for sharing. Our previous homeowner had a trailer and set up this nice pad with built in hookups. We have grandparents with a 27' RV that come visit a few weekends a year, but we would love to share this corner of the woods with others looking for an accessible home base to access Portland/Mt. Hood/Gorge +.  Note: Our driveway entry is steep, but navigable. We limit the trailer/RV length to 27' in order to avoid bottoming out. Novice trailer drivers may want to avoid.  For quick bearings if you are booking while on the road, we are located just off 26 (Powell), 5 miles from I-205 or 11 miles from I-5 via the Ross Island Bridge. If you are traveling along I-84, we are 4 miles south from the exit.
