Come and enjoy an 8 acre tree farm located near Lebanon, Oregon. We purchased this property in 2019. This is a tree farm with 1000+ planted Christmas trees. We put in campsites, a cabin, a barn loft, and a fire pit. We offer these to guests when not being used by our family and friends. Wildlife includes deer, turkey, and quail & 3 active beehives. Guests are welcome to fresh eggs from the chicken coop. We are fully fenced and gated for your family and pets protection. South Santiam River is less than 1 mile for fishing, kayaking, or rafting. Foster reservoir is 30 minutes away and Green Peter Reservoir is 45 minutes away for boating, swimming, and fishing. There is a loop exercise trail that circles the property and offers 30-degree climbs. You can also play games inside or basketball outside. We thought it would be great to have family gatherings and get togethers here and think of this as our slice of heaven, and hope others enjoy it as well.

A 40-acre isolated forest paradise, our property has several places to dry camp with your tent or with your trailer/RV. We are close to Falls City, the vast wilderness of the Oregon Coast Range, Valley of the Giants, and are about a 15 minute drive from the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. We have two sites currently ready for camping with AMAZING views of the Oregon Coast Range with phone service, pets allowed if kept on leash (there are animals on neighboring properties), and a designated fire ring for fires if a fire ban is not in place. There is a water hose available for filling up jugs on site. We are currently in the process of putting in an outhouse and showers, but currently we ask that you leave the site as you found it. This is just the perfect secluded landing pad in some quiet, beautiful countryside. It's close enough to Portland to make it a short drive for a fraction of the price you'd pay for a place to stay in the city. It's a gorgeous spot that's perfectly secure to leave a campsite set up while you're gone and not have to worry. I've stayed twice and will probably return again.

Weekend Trip to Hoodland Basecamp at Scrumpy Farest

We tent camped on one of the RV sites (Potbelly 2) so we could drive up, and we had a fantastic time. Our 3-yr old twins LOVED getting to meet and feed the farm animals, and the people who live on site were very friendly and welcoming. The outdoor bathroom was the cleanest I’ve ever experienced and only a few minutes walk from our site. The showers were a nice feature as well!

This spot is perfect! Exactly as advertised. A ton of space, very clean & well kept property & camping space. We are avid backpackers so this felt like glamping with the shelter, platform, & lighting. A ton of wildlife (large flocks of wild turkeys + herds of deer, hawks, songbirds) & beautiful scenery. We took all 4 of our dogs for a quick overnight for my wife’s birthday & it was perfect for a chill, fun evening. Great short walking paths. Richard is very nice & welcoming! Would stay again :~)

Tent camping at Oak Oasis was great! Plenty of room for parking, super kind and flexible hosts, just a great little spot. Plenty of exploring to be done around the area, and despite warnings of bad cell service, we had no issues on the site. Only possible complaint was numerous yellowjackets due to fallen fruit in the area, but they weren't too much of a bother. Would stay again :)

A truly spectacular location: quiet, private, stunning scenery, wildlife, easy access to hiking and biking and so much more! This is the ideal hipcamp. Immaculately clean, exceptionally well equipped, and everything is done with quality in mind. I can't say enough good about every aspect of this treasure. It is truly a very special spot. Add to that a great host and the natural beauty of the McKenzie Bridge region, the McKenzie River, and the Willamette National Forest and you have a world class Hipcamp. Best I have stayed at, I highly recommend!

This was a gem of a campground for our family. My 5 & 7 year olds said it was the best place they’ve ever camped. They were able to wander around, explore the barn, swing on the swing set, check out the chickens, and their favorite - hang with the cat! Stephany and Mike have this place dialed, they had everything we could have ever needed. Including an ice maker! Highly recommend this spot.

Just needed a flat spot to pitch our family-size tent for a night. This place fit the bill, and it had a nice view of the surrounding hills. Had to keep the kids from wandering into the ubiquitous prickly berry bushes, and it looked like there was some poison oak on the fringes of the spot, but these hazards were mostly easy to avoid.
