The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day. The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. Easy to find. The view of the canal is amazing! If you pull in nose first, you'll have a better view out the side door of your rig, and a bit more privacy. You are parked right near a road that is only busy at rush hour times, it seems like. The road noise wasn't too bad. Michelle's property is beautiful. Michele herself is a very lovely person to talk to. We met 2 of her children as well. Very nice kids. If you have your pup along, go to Pine Nursery Park. It's not far away and their dog park is awesome.

Great space in town. There are houses around on large properties and the RV space is right on the road. The road was busy at times but not bad, and still felt private. What a magical spot! Stayed in a car tent setup and it was perfect for me as a solo female camper, the hosts are so very kind and I appreciated having folks nearby but also felt totally private. The river is amazing to sleep to and there is a lovely grassy area to hang out / dip as well as a secret hammock nook :) As another note, my anxious dog was able to enjoy this campsite without triggers or distractions and I appreciate that so much! We will be back many times next summer and highly recommend, especially for solo campers or couples or if you have a dog who needs a bit of private space!

I loved camping on Michele’s land! It’s on the outskirts of town on the beautiful Deshutes River, just love listening to the river. Her entire family is just lovely, very helpful and accommodating to any needs that might pop up! The property is beautiful and the camping area is very clean and flat, perfect for tents or RVs/trailers. I will definitely stay here when rolling through Bend again.

What a beautiful, magical little spot to spend some time. It's right by the river so you see rafters going by every once in a while. Fell asleep to the sounds of the river and forest. It was very relaxing. There's a cute restaurant about a mile away but it's a pleasant enough walk. Definitely recommended!

8 campsites and 2 original Mongolian Gers. The season for the camp sites is from June 1st to end of Sept and the Gers for 2025/2026 winter are blocked out from Nov 15/25 to May 15/26. Pets allowed, toilets on site, campfires permitted when burn ban is not in place. Now up until this year I have provided Free Firewood. I have quit doing that for a variety of reasons, the least being the cost and the work for me. I am encouraging everyone to purchase a Propane Fire Pit if you don't have one by now. I am not to the point yet of saying no big dogs. Talk to me if you think your "big dog" might not fit in. I don't like them running thru other campers sites, so just be respectful. Take them for walks along the lake.. No Yappers, no barking dogs, no pain in the butts. Why would you drive by 46 grocery stores and forget to bring ice? No loud music. I have changed quiet time to 9:00 PM. If you need to listen to the chaos/stressful music I suggest you start a band or become a DJ. What I want folks to get out of being here, whether they are camping or staying in the Gers is just to “take a break”. Relax, appreciate, assess and just listen. I hope what you hear is the sound of life and of course all the Angels that make up this special piece of Heaven. Then there is the silence. The best part of “Heaven”.
