Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places.
Please note that we are a working farm with sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, pigeons and bees. We ask that you are considerate to all the life happening on the land, observing animals at a distance (except the cats, who will not allow for that) and being aware of electric fences. If you bring dogs to the land, (an option only with RV sites) do so at your own risk. Dogs will need to be leashed at all times and cleaned up after meticulously. 1927 farm house acreage with original milking house across the street. At that time, there was only a dirt road leading to the property. 5 acres remains, but original property lines were considerable and reached all the way to Williams highway. House was remodeled and a new septic was installed in 2019.
Original 1920s hilled acreage homestead with mature fruit trees, garden area, sloped pasture, seasonal pond, and friendly chicken neighbors. RV driveway parking spot is close to main road and the land owner's family home. Dispersed tent camping available in the pasture (New composting toilet added 2023!)
Located mere minutes from the city of Grants Pass, with convenient access to amenities, shops, grocery stores, and outdoor recreational activities; yet far enough out of town for all those lovely rural nature vibes. Applegate and Rogue River fishing, paddling, rafting, hiking, wine tasting, etc within a short commute. Covered car/truck parking negotiable.

Camp right on the Applegate river with us and enjoy the song of water on the rocks! Relax into the end-of-the-road privacy while still being 10 min to Grants Pass and 5 min to the nearest convenience store.
We have 5 acres of grass and conifers, with madrone and oak and big leaf maple throughout. There are alders and cottonwood by the water. The main house is at the top of the property. We have several fire pits and places to camp in tents, hammocks, or RVs. We have delicious well water and fire wood stocked.
We are a large family of colorful people and animals living a little up river from the merge with the Rogue River. We are open to animal guests, but there are free range chickens and cats, as well as small children on the property.

Beautiful property! My little family and I had such an amazing and peaceful time on Joy’s land. Joy is super great with communication and is truly helpful and kind. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! I loved this place! Partly the location and partly the very nice people there.
About the location: it's not for everyone,; it is a bit of a drive including 5 miles on a scrabble road that is fine. But you get out and away from everyone and into a beautiful spot with a great view. It’s also rather rustic that I like that soon they will have a bath house and it’ll be different.
There’s an example of how they were nice to me: I am 72 years old and have some mobility issues. they were very cognizant of it and helped me get around a little bit. That was very sweet.
I would come back every year if I could.

We had a nice stay. We had a lot of room for our tent and it was nice to have an outside kitchen. We tought the fridge could have been a bit cleaner.
The toilet was nice and well taken care off.
We orderded the chacuterie and we really loved it. Lara was quick with responding and was friendly. We also really liked to say hi to the animals, who could be a little bit noisy in the morning. Nothing to bad but if youre a light sleeper like me bring earplugs.

Wow! What a wonderful place, and maybe one of my favorite HipCamps I have stayed at. When you book here, you aren't just booking a place to sleep, it is a whole experience! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was really impressed by the property and its history, especially their work restoring wetlands and promoting forest diversity, and I learned a lot during my stay. I also especially loved meeting the goats and picking fresh produce from their U-Pick farm. They even offer goat hikes, which I didn’t get to try this time, but I’m already planning my next visit just for that! The bed was super comfortable, and the community kitchen was impressively well-equipped. They truly thought of everything—you just need to show up and enjoy!

Joy’s residence was such a pleasure to stay at! We booked both Pine Camp sites and stayed with friends. The 3rd site (Dave’s Camp) wasn’t booked but even if it was, the sites are fairly separated and the Pine Camp sites would have still felt completely private. There is a nice little trail behind the camp sites that the dogs enjoyed, and plenty of shade for hanging out and relaxing! Joy was so friendly, communicative, and was flexible with us when we requested leaving slightly later than normal checkout time (since no one coming in after us). The sites were well set up, clean, and had a cute, cozy vibes to them! As others have stated, the sewer hookup is on the front side of the site and the electric and water is on the back. We chose to wait to hook up sewer and just dumped the tanks right before leaving. The water spigot is set back aways from the site, we had extra hoses so it was no trouble but you will need some hose length (50’) to reach! A wonderful experience and our next trip to the Crater Lake area we will no doubt request to stay with Joy again!

This camp is amazing!!! We loved the large private area & beautiful surroundings! We saw a flock of wild turkeys and a family of elk while there. Great location to check out crater lake. Also rouge river gorge falls was really cool just 15 mins down the road. Thank you Joy for sharing your amazing property with us!!!

This is an awesome place. Quiet, clean, serene and safe. Close to Crater Lake and many many Rogue River hikes. Our host, Joy was responsive, welcoming and informative. Sites are clean, level, full hook up tucked under pine trees. Cell service is adequate but we have starlink too. I just cannot say enough nice things.

I've had the best time staying on this beautiful mountain with these wonderful people. There is absolutely nothing like waking up to mountain sunrises, and taking a dip in the cool creek after hiking on a hot day. This place is very special, and it's not just due to the breathtaking views. It's also because of the people there whose goal is to make it feel like both home and a new adventure all at once. I look forward to many many more trips back!

We felt so lucky to have stumbled upon Kat and her partner’s beautiful little piece of property. The campsite itself gave stunning views of the night sky (we spotted the Milky Way and a shooting star!) We wished we had stayed longer so that we had more time to explore the area!
