Nestled in the lush Beavercreek valley, we are just outside the fog zone in our own sweet little weather bubble. We have a variety of wetland wildlife here including a visiting elk herd, a large and beautiful variety of birds and various small critters.. Early summer dawn bird song is just amazing! 🎶 It’s lush and green and feels like the earth is hugging you when you’re camping in the carefully carved in marsh-field nooks. There are various camp “sites” to choose from, in the big field or the smaller meadow, with shade and/or sunshine & you choose which spot you’d like to stay in once you arrive. Feel free to check out all of the Barn and other communal spaces like: the beautiful dome for chillin in, stargazing bed in the tall field grass, the “Wookie Nook”- secret relaxing nurselog tree in the far right of the field, lounge chairs under the Cedar in the meadow, forest walk, the Legacy Lounge-art, antique and family memorabilia room-through the mural painted door…make yourself at home 💝 It is generally quiet and peaceful out here and a super sweet rustic getaway. Weekends of course are more lively, but still plenty room to spread out and have your own peaceful space. You can have solitude out at your camp, or come to the communal barn areas for a more social time. Inside the Barn has a more “hostel” feel with couches and lounge areas, dining room area tables and chairs, dance floor with Labyrinth to walk, stage, hula hoops, fun props, art and antiques to enjoy! The Black light art and ping pong room is not to miss!! There’s a Full kitchen (minus an oven) in the corner of the barn with all you need to cook, serve and eat. (Charcoal)Bbq shed outside the barn next to the communal fire pit. Just past those is the cedar shingled shower house with a wood fired sauna too. (I generally have firewood for sale here.) There’s 4 Porta potties on-site, but also, please feel free to pee outside. 😁 On the way to the HeArt Barn, just off of hwy 101 is Ona Beach state park. There you can kayak, canoe, paddleboard -or some even swim- on the east side of the hwy. The beach and beautiful state park is on the west side with Beaver creek flowing through it and a lovely bridge over it. We are just 5 minute drive form there. There are a couple hikes along the way, and also for jogging or biking.. I believe in living as simply and peacefully as possible, in harmony with all neighbors of all species; -plants, animals and humans- in order to do my part to sustain healthy life on this planet. I know that I am blessed for having been raised here and since I’ve come home, I live in gratitude for this blessing every day; and am so thankful to be able to share some of it with you. This once was a working farm with two chicken barns and a meat locker barn. All had been fallen into disrepair before taking owner ship. In 2007 we planted 200 tree's and 100 shrubs to build a new fish and wildlife habitat along Woodcock Creek. We then focused on building fence along the Molalla River to protect water quality. From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands. You're only minutes away from the town of Molalla to grab a bite, groceries or other camp items. Also have Molalla Rodeo just 3 minutes away on July 1-4th. You won't be disappointed for a great breakfast at Tammy D's (Mulino, OR), sandwiches at Humble Pig or pizza at Bear Creek Pizza & Pub.

Historic, Quiet Organic Farm

GeerCrest Farm occupies Kalapuya land, settled by the Geer family in 1847, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. GeerCrest Farm and Historical Society manages the front portion of the land and has provided farm-life experiences for all ages since 2007, along with day and overnight experiences for individuals and families. Along with its history, the valley view, small creek and pond, farm animal, and diverse wildlife at GeerCrest is a truly unique experience. On the 20 acre property, we offer two tent camp sites, a tree house, as well as two woodland lodgings. Our peaceful, small farm offers a reflective immersion in nature and history among the occasional chatter of chickens and baaas of sheep. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep. Please say hello to our flock of chickens, barn cats (they may say hello first) and small but mighty herd of sheep. Each of our 13 large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring. All sites accommodate RVs as well as tent camping. One of the campsites is next to the beaver pond, where you're likely to see a variety of wildlife. Our property also has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and Kielbasa), bacon (when available), pork chops and roasts.

Green Crest Memorial Park

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. You're also welcome to bring your kayak and or paddle boards to get out on the water for fishing or just floating the pond. There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property. Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way? Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. We can direct you to some little known sites that offer a great day trip.

This beautiful piece of paradise has been in my family for over 100 years. I am very blessed to live here and proudly care for it now, and plan to keep it in our family forever. Nestled in the lush Beavercreek valley, we are just outside the fog zone in our own sweet little weather bubble. We have a variety of wetland wildlife here including a visiting elk herd, a large and beautiful variety of birds and various small critters.. Early summer dawn bird song is just amazing! 🎶 It’s lush and green and feels like the earth is hugging you when you’re camping in the carefully carved in marsh-field nooks. There are various camp “sites” to choose from, in the big field or the smaller meadow, with shade and/or sunshine & you choose which spot you’d like to stay in once you arrive. Feel free to check out all of the Barn and other communal spaces like: the beautiful dome for chillin in, stargazing bed in the tall field grass, the “Wookie Nook”- secret relaxing nurselog tree in the far right of the field, lounge chairs under the Cedar in the meadow, forest walk, the Legacy Lounge-art, antique and family memorabilia room-through the mural painted door…make yourself at home 💝 It is generally quiet and peaceful out here and a super sweet rustic getaway. Weekends of course are more lively, but still plenty room to spread out and have your own peaceful space. You can have solitude out at your camp, or come to the communal barn areas for a more social time. Inside the Barn has a more “hostel” feel with couches and lounge areas, dining room area tables and chairs, dance floor with Labyrinth to walk, stage, hula hoops, fun props, art and antiques to enjoy! The Black light art and ping pong room is not to miss!! There’s a Full kitchen (minus an oven) in the corner of the barn with all you need to cook, serve and eat. (Charcoal)Bbq shed outside the barn next to the communal fire pit. Just past those is the cedar shingled shower house with a wood fired sauna too. (I generally have firewood for sale here.) There’s 4 Porta potties on-site, but also, please feel free to pee outside. 😁 On the way to the HeArt Barn, just off of hwy 101 is Ona Beach state park. There you can kayak, canoe, paddleboard -or some even swim- on the east side of the hwy. The beach and beautiful state park is on the west side with Beaver creek flowing through it and a lovely bridge over it. We are just 5 minute drive form there. There are a couple hikes along the way, and also for jogging or biking.. I believe in living as simply and peacefully as possible, in harmony with all neighbors of all species; -plants, animals and humans- in order to do my part to sustain healthy life on this planet. I know that I am blessed for having been raised here and since I’ve come home, I live in gratitude for this blessing every day; and am so thankful to be able to share some of it with you.
