Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options.
Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park.
The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin.
Other features include a fire pit, wood fired sauna, and creek access for cold dips. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests.
The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts.
The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards.
The barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

Weekend Trip to Alsea Valley Farm
A lovely weekend spent listening to the rain as we fell asleep. Woke up to gorgeous views of the suspension bridge, got to take part in a sauna and cold plunge in the river, and even found some newts along the trail. An amazing stay and lovely hosts! They were very welcoming and such a cozy stay, we’ll be back for sure. :)

The cabin is tidy and cozy. There are a few games to play, and space to relax. We loved hiking the trails and hanging out near the creek. We heard a great horned owl at night. The property is lovely, and there's great communication with the hosts, who are friendly, and made the stay comfortable. The composting toilet doesn't smell bad at all, and the shower is really nice, with pretty mosaic tiles. This is our second stay, and its a great place to relax and play with family. Our kid really loves sleeping in the loft. Great views all around.

The property itself is very beautiful. The cabin has a lot of charm and character and it was nice being right next to the creek with the sound of the water. Communication with the host was both great before and during our stay. They were super helpful with getting the sauna going when we reached out. The cabin was clean and it was nice to have some legit cookware including stainless steel pots and pans and a cast iron skillet as opposed to the scratched Teflon at so many places. The kitchen has the basics like salt, pepper, and cooking oil. The wood burning stove has a good draw and heats the place well. Nice dried bundles were already next to the cabin for a very reasonable cost of $5 per bundle. There is an electric heating unit in both the kitchen and the bedroom. The only caveat being that they're not suppose to run at the same time. The cabin was really lovely along with the great host so we definitely recommend staying here.

3 nights at Amico Roma Farm
This is our second stay at Amico Roma and it did not disappoint!! The yurt is very central if you want to be able to travel out to the coast during the day, but also full of amenities so you really don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. Highlights included: listening to great horned owls call to each other, going to the Maysara winery, cooking to the sound of the rain hitting the canvas, and THEIR BRAND NEW SAUNA!!!! Amazing craftsmanship, and so relaxing!!

One of my favorite cabin stays Ive ever experienced! The land is magical and the cabin was so cozy and inviting with thoughtful touches. My favorite place was the loft, waking up to the windows surrounding you with beautiful trees and rain pouring on the roof- can’t get much better. Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

Weekend Trip to Alsea Valley Farm
We had a wonderful time staying at this special spot for a friends getaway. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive. The cabin is so well thought-out, and it's lovely to see the creativity and time that has gone into this property. It's so nice to be able to walk right out the door and hike their private trails, listen to the creek, and relax. We arrived right after fire restrictions were lifted, so we were able to use the outdoor fire pit and look at the stars. We also used the sauna every day we were there. It has an electric sauna heater and a small woodstove, so you can choose your heat source, and the short little path down to the cold dip in the creek is genius. Some folks in reviews have mentioned the composting toilets--as some of our group lives entirely off-grid, we were actually taking pictures of their setup because it's really well designed. Just think of all the water you're saving in the world. The property itself is well cared for, and their little dog is such a cutie. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Amico Roma Farm
We had a fantastic and relaxing time with our pups. They loved running around in the grass, and sleeping inside by the cozy wood stove. The yurt is completely equipped, we barely had to bring more than some food and our clothes!
We walked over to the winery next door, wandered the trails on the property, and relaxed with games and books. A really special weekend!

This place is magical. You feel it right when you drive up and it just pops up everywhere in all the details of the property. The cabin views are incredible and it’s so cool to watch the birds/sky change colors throughout the day. Also the bed/cabin is so cozy I slept for 10+ hours both nights (magic!). Kim is so kind and generous. She feels like you’ve known her for ages. It’s hard to put into words how special this place felt. In short, I can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come back!

The Glamping tent at Roshambo was a treat! It was out in a beautiful field backed up to blackberries and a hawthorn tree, sounds of the crickets so wonderful at night and such big stars! What a wonderful relaxed vibe Kim provides with the cider tastings, amenities offerings and her flexible and gracious hospitality. I can’t recommend this spot enough and Will definitely be back!

I had never visited the west valley before and I’ll definitely be back. It was nice to be there on a weekend and enjoy great conversation in the shaded tasting area before wandering across the field to my camp spot. They were very welcoming of my dog too. Next year, I hope to come and camp for their music nights. Only note is there is no shade in the camp areas, including the glamping tents.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Vista Tent! Everything was impeccably clean, all you could possibly need was provided, and the bed was SO comfy! The view from the tent was beautiful, and it felt very secluded and private. The sauna was a great extra bonus and the property was large with woodsy trails to walk around too. Loved the tent and LOVED the super comfy bed. It was a very cute little spot for a good value. We had campers on either side of us but the way the owners set everything up allowed it to still feel private.
I really appreciate the hosts for being so responsive and accommodating. Can’t say enough good things about them!
Having the tasting room within walking distance was also fantastic. Would definitely book again.
