2 nights at Crater Lake ResortGreat campground in beautiful location en route to Crater Lake. RV sites under some trees (there are tent sites and cabins as well). The campground is nicely laid out, so all the spots feel relatively private (though the RV ones were a little tight) and have nice views. It's enjoyable to walk around the grounds, and there's a very pretty stream nearby that's worth checking out. Also convenient to have the store on the grounds for any basics you might need.
The main downside of this place were the mosquitoes, which we were told have been unusually bad this year. Hopefully not a regular occurrence, and having plenty of bug spray, citronella candles, and the campfire helped. There was also some road noise from cars passing by to and from the park, but this wasn't constant and beceme infrequent in the evenings.
Of course, Crater Lake itself was also stunning, so we felt lucky to have found this great place to stay in the area. All in all, we'd happily be back again!
