We loved tent camping on Julie's land. It was peaceful and definitely has beautiful, natural surroundings. We appreciated the Wi-Fi and watching the goats play.

Not a baaaaaad site

we live about 30 miles from Sunnybrook farms. What a great place to slip away too. Hidden along little Bute creek with plenty of flowing water this late in the year. Cool tree covered camping along the creek. I showed goats in 4h when I was a kid; so I loved the herd that shared our site along the creek. hosts were wonderful checking on us and giving us great tips for hiking. Great hike up to a Indian falls.

Exceptional setting

Beautiful setting. Peaceful with a stream running by, adirondak chairs for lounging, a large patio with sauna, hot tub and fire pit. Directions are a little tricky as the road name doesn't match the directions, but does get you to the property. Kids loved playing in the creek and with the goats.

We had a great experience camping here. It was quiet, secluded, and tranquil (aside from occasional moos and goat noises - always exciting for us city folk). Great stars and sunsets. Hosts greeted us upon arrival and helped us find a campsite. As far as getting to the tent sites. You don't need anything crazy but at the very least you'll want something with decent ground clearance. You can make it work in a Subaru if you're stubborn like me. Host set us up at a clearing up in the hills. We had basically the whole mountain to ourselves. He encouraged us to go hiking on the ATV trails as well, which we did and got some great views at the top. Nobody bothered us during our visit and we felt comfortable leaving our stuff there during the day as the whole property is fenced and gated.

Top notch Hip Camp!

Julie and Andy’s place was outstanding! It is located in a very quiet and remote valley with proximity to so many outdoor delights. Trails, wineries, Lakes, crater lake national park, the wild and scenic Rogue River. The site was full hookup and the hosts were so helpful and were great with communication. And, the goats were friggin awesome.

Beautiful Ranch Setting

We had a wonderful stay at Sunnybrook Ranch! Although we booked a full hook-up site, we ended up choosing a remote site down by the creek that was perfect for our off-road trailer. We heard the frogs at night and saw beautiful birds during the day. We waded in the cold creek and our dog swam around having a blast. The ranch has a Dutton Ranch-meets-Cascades feel, and is ruggedly charming in so many ways. Andy and Julie jet around the ranch on their ATVs with their regal Malinois dog on the back herding the goats and cattle, and were so inviting and helpful. We felt extremely well cared for during our visit. We enjoyed the sociable nature of the Ranch, with campers and neighbors gathering on the 'Sunset Chairs' to chat during some evenings, and a nice patio area down at the shady creek as well. Andy provided us with a document that provided great recommendations for local hiking spots and points of interest. We did the waterfall hike just a few miles from the ranch and it was lovely. As two women traveling together, we felt totally safe and well cared for. We will definitely plan to stay again the next time we are in the area.

Wow- trying to figure out how to put the experience I had is hard to fit into words. The hosts Andy and Julie were perfect. Very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay unforgettable. They care about people and it shows. Do yourself a favor and stay here. It is literally amazing and out of this world.

Julie and Andy were kind and responsive hosts. Their property is gorgeous. We specifically requested a remote off-grid site accessible by 4 wheel drive. When we arrived, Andy stopped what he was doing to escort us to our site, asking if we prefer a creek site or a mountain site. The creek running through the property was refreshing and cool. The herd of goats wandering the property were fun to watch. Julie and Andy were happy to share their property with us and made sure we had a great stay.

We had an unforgettable stay at this incredible Hipcamp site! From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. They were especially amazing with our kids—so patient, kind, and genuinely engaged. You can tell they’ve put a lot of heart into their property. The entire space felt like a hidden gem, but the goats were the cherry on top—our kids couldn’t get enough of them, which turned into a highlight of the trip. One of our favorite spots was the creekside deck. We just relaxed in the afternoons, it was the perfect place to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings, while the kids played in the creek. Everything about our experience was thoughtful and welcoming. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway with hosts who truly care, this is the place!

The best way to describe it to me is...Heaven on Earth. The best stay I have had anywhere, including major motels omor cabins. So serene and the babbling brook is a perfect touch to the atmosphere, I highly recommend to anyone desiring time to stand still and breath!

Slice of heaven.

Every single part of our stay was phenomenal. The cabin was perfect for our family of 3. The goats were a high point for our daughter. The calming creek was a high point for my husband and I. It is a quick 30 minute drive to Medford where we got a papa Murphy’s pizza to cook in the full kitchen. I cannot say enough how wonderful the stay was.

We were camping in our roof top tent at SunnyBrooke. We parked under the trees and directly by the creek. They had cows and goats and beautiful Malinois name Sunny. They were respectful they had basic amenities, we were able to have a camp fire by in the creek. And they had firewood available. Crater lake was 1.5 hours away too. I loved the campground more than the park, if you’re going to crater lake. They only have one entrance open. I highly recommend the place. Andy and Julia were gracious hosts.

Perfect Location!

This is a hidden gem! The location is incredible with a creek running through the middle of the property. Also lots of goats, horses, and cows in fields on property. If this isn’t enough, the owners are incredibly hospitable, letting us stay an extra day when our tow vehicle broke down. In addition, they recommended many local attractions and places to visit. This has to be the best Hipcamp location we have ever visited.

We stayed at the 4x4 dispersed campsite. A high clearance vehicle is definitely recommended. The camping area consists of meadows with oak trees. There are a lot areas you can set up camp. Our stay was very private and peaceful. The views were outstanding. Will definitely camp here again.
