This property is a haven for them, no hunting is allowed. If you are looking to throw a Frisbee with your dog in a forested and meadow setting, without tons of campers right next to you, then this is your place. Room to roam, fresh water April through September and easy access to a common electricity plug-in where you can charge your cell phones and air mattresses on the electric pole by the entry gate. If you are looking to play games, just ask us for the corn hole or horse shoes, or help yourself to the games already out and available. RV driveway parking spot is close to main road and the land owner's family home. Dispersed tent camping available in the pasture (New composting toilet added 2023!) Located mere minutes from the city of Grants Pass, with convenient access to amenities, shops, grocery stores, and outdoor recreational activities; yet far enough out of town for all those lovely rural nature vibes. Applegate and Rogue River fishing, paddling, rafting, hiking, wine tasting, etc within a short commute. Covered car/truck parking negotiable. Guests love staying here: "Beautiful views from this location. Miranda is a perfect host. She met us upon arrival & showed us the ropes. She left us fresh eggs from her flock of adorable chickens & even shared her garden with us. Grants Pass is a beautiful little town located close to the Rogue River. We were there in the fall & I was in awe of the beautiful trees every time we ventured out."

This property is a 40 acre former horse ranch in Melrose Oregon. For horse enthusiasts we offer a covered barn with four matted stalls and plenty of storage for feed and tack. There is also a 50 foot round pen, a 200 foot outdoor open arena and plenty of trailer parking. Please add each horse as an extra during checkout. Price is $10 per horse per night for a covered, lit and matted stall. Roughly 10 acres of rolling hillside leads to a 1/4 mile long dirt road/trail that goes along a seasonal creek and year around shade. This is a wonderful spot for staying cool in the summer or camping along the creek in the winter. Our property is open to tent camping, RVs and group camping. We do have a porta potty and limited power and non-potable spring water available however, we do not have a dump station or trash cans. Please pack it in and pack it out. Plenty of room for group camping, seasonal fires allowed and a wonderful place to get away just 20 minutes outside of Roseburg located in the heart of Oregon wine country.

After viewing the amazing star-filled night skies, fall into a deep relaxed sleep and wake up to birds singing, enjoy your coffee and a nature walk. This serene and quiet RV spot consists of an open space nestled in beautiful mixed woodlands of mature doug fir, cedar, pine and madrone on our 60 acre property (You won’t see our house or shop since these RV spot is on the other side of the property). RV space has 50 amp power, well water and RV sewer. Your own toilet is a must. Be prepared to “Pac-in, pack-out.”  This is a protected wilderness area. There’s a mix of sun and shade. At approximately 2600 ft elevation, a fresh gentle breeze significantly cools the late afternoon and evening summer temperatures. Most cell service carriers do get reception at this location, however, there is no WIFI. This can be a pull-through-and-around area. A long RV/trailer may need to make a y turn.  Short distance nature trails in the adjacent woodlands can be enjoyed in the immediate area. You will be alone in this no-frills spot. Just you and nature and your RV home.
