Campsite is on a second driveway to the front of the house on a wooded, half-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood in Southwest Bend. House lots are big and the area provides nice cool morning walks. There is a curb at the start of the driveway but aids will be provided if necessary.
Electrical (110x2; 50A with converter to 30A), water, and sewer hookups are available! The sewer hookup may not work if your drain is underneath your vehicle and low to the ground.
There is a fenced in yard that may be used if your dog(s) get along with mine and you help with poop patrol. You will need to check the fence line to confirm that your dogs cannot get out, as I am not responsible if they escape. A large part of my yard is rewilding, so you will see tall grasses and increasing varieties of flowers over the years.
A hot tub may be available by appointment. House is enhanced by the use of focused life force energy (FLFE.net), so enjoy relaxing in the higher vibes. There is one cat to rule us all and she may grace you with her presence if you welcome her. And a border collie to guard anyone she deems as part of her "flock."
Site is located an easily walkable ½ mile from a shopping center with grocery (just closed but hoping for another to take its place), vet, Mexican and Asian-fusion restaurants, and a wine bar with occasional entertainment. Beyond that, is a park with a climb to a tall hill with a lovely 360 overlook view of the surrounding mountains.
There is access to the river and river trail about ¾ mile walk away - this trail can take you all the way to Farewell Park and the Old Mill shopping area. And a bus stop is around the corner, just about a house length away.
This is a great base location for all your adventures in Bend and surrounding areas, and a quiet place in which to relax afterwards.

We have a private, single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The campsite is near our home, but feels private. The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby.

Buffalo and yaks will entertain you with their grazing and antics. There is a canal running through the ranch as well as a pond with waterfowl. Stroll along the access path and see if you can spot eagles on the tall eagle perches.

What a magical spot! Stayed in a car tent setup and it was perfect for me as a solo female camper, the hosts are so very kind and I appreciated having folks nearby but also felt totally private. The river is amazing to sleep to and there is a lovely grassy area to hang out / dip as well as a secret hammock nook :) As another note, my anxious dog was able to enjoy this campsite without triggers or distractions and I appreciate that so much! We will be back many times next summer and highly recommend, especially for solo campers or couples or if you have a dog who needs a bit of private space!

Great site! Effortless check-in/check-out. Morning view of the canyon was priceless! Many farm animals on the property along with some guard dogs. Very close to Smith Rock!
Bring ear plugs if you don't want to hear the dogs barking through the night. Other than that, great stay!

This place was amazing. Kathy is an amazing host! We felt so welcomed and the vibes were truly Zen! We were able to catch short Uber rides everywhere we wanted to explore. What a beautiful, magical little spot to spend some time. It's right by the river so you see rafters going by every once in a while. Fell asleep to the sounds of the river and forest. It was very relaxing. There's a cute restaurant about a mile away but it's a pleasant enough walk. Definitely recommended!

This is our second time staying at Zen Vibes. Kathy is a wonderful host who provided us with a safe and clean place to stay for our time in Bend. She is located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees for scenery. We appreciate that this is located a couple of miles from popular attractions like the Hayden Homes Ampitheater and the Deschutes River Trail near Downtown Bend. Always a pleasure staying here! Beautiful private river to swim in with gorgeous mountain (?) backdrop. If you’re an animal lover then you will especially love this site. Tons of friendly and beautiful animals to visit! If you’re a carnivore then you must check out the dream fridge of ranch meats. John and Hoss were so friendly and generous — if I am ever in the area again then I would love to come back. 10/10

This place was beautiful! From the moment we arrived, it felt calm, peaceful, and like the perfect little escape. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He gave us free firewood, showed us around the ranch, and even let us meet and pet all the animals (which was awesome!). Being surrounded by that beautiful scenery was so refreshing, and getting here was super easy. We’re already talking about our next trip back. Couldn’t recommend it more!

This is my 2nd review. Zen vibes is a nice driveway in a nice neighborhood with electric, water, and septic available. It is a super dog friendly neighborhood and a great place to walk your dogs.
Kathy is very communicative and easy to talk to. Great location if you are doing things in that part of Bend.

“Zen Vibes” is a wide, long and mostly level driveway on the side of Kathy’s front yard. It’s in a nice neighborhood and walking our dogs was a pleasure there. The neighborhood seems to cater to dog walking. The space is well shaded and has electric , water, and septic hook up. Kathy was very communicative and easy to talk to.

Enjoyed the stay for 2 nights, definitely felt safe by the river and left for Bend for the day for some paddling and came back feeling okay about leaving our tent. The river was a bit low because it's summer but that's fine we weren't planning on paddling in there to begin with. Everyone we met at the farm/camp was friendly, there were a lot of animals around from the farm, also at night just a lot of wild animals/bird sounds and a big storm passing overhead. I'd recommend for anyone planning on seeing Smith rock or just wanting to camp somewhere wild that's not a forest for a night. There was a guy fishing down there in a parallel site. This is not like camping in the forest where you have silence and trees, this is camping out in a very wild field with a river and at night occasional headlights of cars passing by but that part's not so bad. All of the camp sites appear to be right next to each other and there's a single portapotty. The host was nice, he came down and said hi and chatted a few times. I appreciated the stay overall but maybe not the place to get away to "fix your marriage" or something. :]
