Welcome to our serene campsite nestled beside the picturesque Wolf Creek! Set amidst a wooded backdrop and a hay field, our one and only campsite offers a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Please stop at the 2-story brick farmhouse before you head to the campsite.

As you arrive, you'll be greeted by the tranquil sounds of the creek and the lush greenery of the surrounding woods. Our campsite offers pastures and some wooded trails to walk through while on farm, inviting you to explore the beauty of the countryside at your own pace.

For your comfort and convenience, we provide amenities such as an outdoor shower*, fire pit, picnic table, and outhouse with a sink. Whether you're roasting marshmallows around the fire or enjoying a picnic by the creek, our campsite offers the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. We assure you that the tranquil setting and natural beauty of our farm make it well worth the visit.

Our small hobby farm adds to the charm of your stay, with Highlander cows, potbellied pigs, roosters, hens, turkeys, peacocks, and a garden to explore. Feel free to bring along your furry friends, as long as they are friendly with our animals.

Located across from Sycamore State Park, our campsite provides close proximity to hiking trails and fishing ponds, allowing you to further immerse yourself in nature's wonders. Downtown Dayton is less than a 30-minute drive away so you'll have the best of both worlds – the tranquility of the countryside and the excitement of the city.

We invite you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the beauty of nature at our charming campsite along Wolf Creek. We look forward to hosting you soon! 

*The outdoor shower is located on the side of the barn ~ facing the chicken coop. It is not located at the campsite, but you can see it from the campsite and get to it by a short walk. It is solar-powered so the water temperature is weather dependent. It is not available year round due to the Ohio climate.

Scott and Amy's Rural Respite

This 80 acre farmland has been in the family for 6 generations. Some of the land is still used for farming to this day. The old barn, built in the late 1800's still stands. 

Now there is also a motocross track on the property. The track is only open occasionally. Enjoy easy trails in the woods, feed fish in the pond, and if you would like to see our goats and chicken we can arrange a time to introduce you!

West Wind Stables

We have owned this farm for the past 20 years, it consists of farm land, pasture and some wooded areas. Lots of wildlife around, and few lights to distract from the stars at night! We are close to several small Ohio towns, including Indian Lake. Plenty of eating and shopping options within minutes.

Fire area, bring in your own wood, or we can provide for a small fee!

Most of the views are of surrounding farm ground. 

We have constructed a little outbuilding with a camp shower and camping toilet for campers use.

We usually have around 20 horses at a time. Unfortunately, no riding, most of these horses are here due to health or behavioral issues we are working on.

Looking for a couple acres all to yourself?&nbsp; Then overnight your self-contained RV at our retired Christmas tree farm.&nbsp; An active "choose-n-cut" tree farm until 2019, we're letting most of our farm grow wild with some deciduous&nbsp;trees also. There are walking trails throughout the "woods" and around our 3/4 acre fishing pond (catch n release please).&nbsp; Relax on the bench on the old country store porch or by the fire ring, fish, or stretch your legs and walk the dog.&nbsp; &nbsp;A pleasant, private, isolated spot in the country to overnight or spend a couple days.&nbsp;

If you're a small family staying just one night, there is no "extra guest" fee for dependent&nbsp;children.

Camp Yellow Springs

This secluded off-grid cabin and camping site sits on the back of a 5-acre family property and borders an 11-acre green space.   This private site is approximately 1-acre and has its own driveway. The atmosphere is peaceful and private, and there are no houses or campsites nearby.  

The cabin has a small solar set up with lights, fans, a composting toilet, and charging capabilities.  In addition to the cabin, there are plenty of great tent sites on the property.  (Tents are available for rent)

The shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities of Yellow Springs are a little over a mile and a half from the campsite.  Enjoy all the village has to offer during the day, and retire to your private 1-acre campsite and relax while watching an incredible sunset or a late night bonfire. (We supply the wood!)

Great for families, couples, and friend groups all ages.  Green friendly.   Party friendly!  For gatherings larger than 6 adults, contact for pricing and packages.  

Sky Lake Camping & Fishing

A Boondockers Dream! Camp on a private acre lake away from it all. Enjoy fishing on a professionally stocked and managed pay lake (fishing pass purchase required) or an evening fire at the pavilion while the sun sets! PLEASE NOTE: These sites do not have any hookups, a SELF CONTAINED RV IS REQUIRED. NO Tent/Car camping. Generators are allowed to be used. A dump station is available to use in the RV park.  - Booking a site number does not guarantee that location - sites are first come first serve and located by the pavilion. No Campfires are allowed in the Boondocking area but there is a community fire pit by the pavilion.

20 acre property with large and small barn. Just off of Interstate 70 and Rt 41.   (approximately 1/4 mi from highway).  Paved parking areas on each side of the barn with available water and electricity hook up on each side of the barn.   Wooded lot with   1 mile walking trail on property for guests and pets.  

NOTE:  Maximum stay on north and south BARN SITES is 3 consecutive nights.  UNLESS we discuss the situation prior to the dates. For the TITUS RD DISPERSED SITE, I have a 30 day limit (longer is possible if OK'd before stay)   Note, we have a rear patio porch and deck on the back of the house that we use and is in sight.  6 dogs between daughter next door (South side of barn) and us but both have fenced in yards that we try to keep the dogs in when campers are present.  Dogs are harmless but do bark when they do not know you...

   City of Springfield is less than three miles away.  A Sheets and Loves Truckstop are 300 yards away with the Loves having a dump station.  Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout.  The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys,  Subway, and dog park.  Sheets also has a food court.   All within walking distance.  

   Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west.  13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S.  I 71 N/S   Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus...

NOTE:  Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route,  If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you.  Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

Camp Rocky Run

Rocky Run Creek is a tributary to Seven Mile Creek in Preble County, OH

Small creek near residential area. Choice of wide open spaces, partial or full shade spots available. Short walking trail along the creek line is maintained. 'Rocky Cross' Geocach nearby. Please be aware that if we have had a lot of rain, the creek side spots may be too wet and difficult to get back up the hill with the wet grass.&nbsp; If this is the case, we do have the gravel barn driveway that can accommodate your stay. During peak busy season, the barn drive may have additional guests due to site, weather or general camping conditions. The barn drive offers a view of the creek area about 100 feet away and is about 175 feet from the patio common area. WiFi covering the entire camp and all cellular carriers work great here. 30 Amp electrical in many spots. White tank water fill is available in select locations. Plenty of room for tow vehicle at your camp site.

Dogs / pets are certainly welcome subject to the following:
  No destructive behaviors. (Digging, chewing, etc)
  No aggressive behaviors. (Toward anyone at any time)
Please consider that other guests may be present.

! ROUTE RESTRICTIONS ! ( State Route 127, Eaton and South)

If traveling here from the South (only on Ohio State Route 127), please note the height restrictions on three roads that connect SR 127 with the parallel Wayne Trace Road. The names of the roads to avoid:

Consolidated (Height restriction 9' 9" under the railroad) 

Brower            (Height restriction 10' 0" over Seven Mile Creek)

7 Mile Road    (Height restriction 10' 6" and very sharp turn to bridge)

Please watch what route electronic devices may may pick avoiding these routes. 

A suggested route from traveling North on State Route 127 to Camp Rocky Run is to turn in Camden, OH on State Route 725 and head East to Wayne Trace Road. 

!! NOTE on RV types !! You must have a self contained RV with on board restroom facilities. We have no restroom facilities available. For this reason, we do not offer tent camping.&nbsp;&nbsp;
!! NOTE on camp fire location !!  The fire ring provided on the shared creek side patio is the only spot a camp fire, of any kind, can be built. (Sorry, but we have had too many damaged spots in the grass from the use of 'portable' fire ring units.)
!! NOTE on Class A RVs with towed vehicle !!

If it is too wet to access the creek side spots, we can still accommodate your stay in the nearby barn driveway but if you are unable to back up with the 'toad' then a detach will be required. Again, this is only if it is too wet to access the creek side camp spots. Generally we will be able to help you back in, but at times we may be away and suggest a helper in guiding you into the barn drive. Note, the barn driveway is not a pull through site.

Green Plains Ranch

Located on 66 acres of rolling farmland and wooded country side.  Near Yellow Springs, Cedarville College, John Bryan State Park, Clifton Gorge, and centrally located near Dayton, Springfield, and Columbus.
Enjoy your morning coffee along with a beautiful view of Ohio farmland and the sounds of nature. 
This is a working farm.  We grow forage crops (alfalfa, clover, grass), manage a cow-calf herd of 42 Criollo (Corriente), and selectively harvest timber.  We are one of the few 100% grass fed/ grass-finished ranches that practices regenerative agriculture.  
Guests may explore the farm, bird watch,  enjoy catch-and-release fishing in a private one-acre pond, or sit by the fire. The Ohio to Erie Trail is 1/4” mile from the ranch. 
You can purchase bison, beef (when in stock), and firewood at the ranch.

Nestled on 10 acres of family-owned, serene countryside, our homestead offers a private getaway for individuals or the whole family. Whether you prefer a secluded retreat or a communal gathering, rent a single spot or the entire 10 acres for your outing. We strive to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Throughout the year, our property is home to chickens, a cow , usually a few pigs, and a couple of dogs, offering a glimpse into rural life. Join us this weekend and gather around the fire pit for warmth and camaraderie. We provide 10-20 primitive sites tailored to your needs, from secluded spots to a communal area where multiple families can camp together and share stories around the fire. Each site includes picnic tables, fire pits, and trash pickup. We also offer firewood, but kindly request that you refrain from bringing wood from elsewhere to preserve the health of our woods for future visitors.

For your convenience, we have a small camp store stocked with essential items often forgotten at home. Additionally, children can enjoy our small playground while adults relax in nature. Whether you pitch a tent or hang your hammock from a tree, we welcome you with open arms. Don't have camping gear? Give us a call, as we offer tent and hammock rentals, along with various other amenities. If you prefer indoor accommodations, we have a camper ready  for you.

This property is in a flood plain and you could be moved to higher ground.   Feel free to message  us if you have questions. 

We offer several primitive campsites, allowing you to choose whether to camp solo or with a group.

Croaky Oak Clearing

Croaky Oak Clearing of Good Knights Reserve is located in Ohio and a 25-30 minute drive to Dublin.  You'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property.  A 1/2 mile drivable path will take you to the one site offered.  Here you can pitch your tent, build a campfire, catch and release a few fish from the pond, or choose to sit on the floating dock with your feet in the water.   There are also a few short trails to meander through.  The camp site sits next to a large wetland in cooperation with ODNR, Division of Wildlife so you'll hear the sound of croaking frogs and various other creatures communicating back and forth. A clean porta-john is close by and a small charcoal grill and picnic table with seating for 8 is available.  Reservoirs, golf courses, several quaint bakeries and boutiques are close by for additional entertainment.   Route  33 is easily accessible.

Red Brick Homestead

The property is located just on the outskirts of the town of Portland, Indiana. It is a country feel with the nearby conveniences of town. Laundry mat, Walmart, Dollar Tree, city parks, and a variety of restaurants are within 2 miles. The property features my beautiful 1950's red brick home, and 2 restored red historic barns surrounded by farm fields. Parking is always available in front of the barns on gravel. When the ground isn't too soft, you can also park within the couple acres of open, mowed ground behind the barns. 30 amp electricity is available near the barns. New for 2025 we have our own flock of chickens and will usually have fresh eggs available. The flock includes roosters, so you may get an early morning wake up call!  Leashed pets are welcome.

sitting on 2.0 ac. located on a corner area in the country 6 miles from town. Surrounded by farm lands and open sky. We offer 2 power sits 3 tent sites. Option rent 24 camper if available .

Old country home located 18. Mi off of i-75 a mile from route 66 an 5 miles from route 30. the old miami Erie canal runs through many towns close by, within walking distance, biking or hiking. Ohio caverns are within 45 minutes of this location. A local tavern within a mile and the best ice cream in the area within five miles, " the creamery"  of Delphos. 

Could just stay enjoy a game of cornhole or 9-hole golf on site.

LRB Farm Hidden Escape

Little Riverbend farm was established in 1996 by Dave and Traci Bitler. The original property was settled sometime in the mid 1800s with the main house built sometime between 1872-1875. Through several generations the property was passed between the original owners family members, then split up and sold into lots. When the Bitlers purchased the property in 1996, the main house was sold with 3 acres and the 2 stall barn. Then in 2015 they were able to purchase an additional 9 acres of adjoining property giving them the additional pasture and woods running along the Auglaize River.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent in a secluded site nestled between a&nbsp;babbling creek and pasture. Located behind 8 acres of lush horse pasture,&nbsp;a mini working dairy goat farm and few chickens and ducks for fresh breakfast eggs. You'll have access to a fire ring, firewood, and a wrought iron picnic table with chairs and scenic views along the Auglaize river.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Cabin and Company (RV/Campers only)

Our beautiful 1800’s cabin was moved to the property in the 1970’s by a former neighbor who owned the property at the time. The same neighbor also had a historic train depot moved to the property where she sold antiques out of for several years. It is not sure what the cabin was used for at that time but it certainly added charm to the antique store property. When we acquired the property years later, the cabin was in need of work. It sat for a few years until we decided to restore this lovely cabin back to it’s beautiful charm and character. Jim spent a couple years on the project working in his free time and added the porch using old wood in keeping with the natural look and feel of the cabin as well as some interior areas. Upon completion, we opened the cabin as a gift shop selling unique items including antiques, primitives and decor for a few years. We decided to transition the cabin into a place of retreat for traveling guests and still keep some of the goods we sold in the shop available for purchase. We hope that you find the cabin and property a place of peace and tranquility and will want to return. Whether passing through for a night or a few days stay, you’re always welcome in our neck of the woods.

Make a stop back in time to our quiet woodland retreat with an updated 1800’s log cabin nestled on the property. At Cabin and Company, you will be parked beside this beautiful cabin and will be allowed access at your leisure for a place to sit and relax. (No overnight sleeping allowed inside)  Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea (provided) while watching tv or on our covered porch outside.  You may also select a movie or two from our large selection of DVDs or find a book to read among our stash of books.  Play cards, engage in one of the other games provided, or just sit in the quiet of it all and rest your mind. There is a golf chipping area as well as basketball. We have WIFI at our residence on the adjacent property and some areas of the camp will pick it up better than others. There is a fire ring on site with an adjustable grate for cooking and plenty of seasoned firewood available.. We will have a few items available for purchase inside the cabin including local honey (when available) apple butter, coffee, hand crafted walking sticks and you won’t want to leave without some of these goodies.  This semi secluded property is a gem and we hope you will enjoy this piece of history as much as we do.  You may see wildlife such as whitetail deer and of course, there are plenty of birds and squirrels around.  You won’t be disappointed in this cozy Midwest retreat and will want to make this one of your places while passing through our beautiful Ohio.  Most of all, relax and enjoy.
