We have just under 20 acres. You can drive right to the camp sites located about 700 foot behind the house. It is a peaceful setting over looking a pond, fishing is welcome. In 1955 when my family bought our 180-acre farm, there were Shagbark Hickory trees lining both shores of a rock-filled stream. Years later a 550-acre lake was created from damming our stream and Hickory shores became the wildlife- filled headwaters. Bald Eagles, fox, river otters, ospreys, beaver, and deer are frequent visitors to our farm along with other water birds and wildlife.
Recreational opportunities are plentiful including fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. The 50 mile Western Reserve Greenway paved bike trail is 1 1/2 miles away on country roads and other adjoining roads create unlimited quiet country rides and walks. In 2023 we have added a 3/4 mile wooded trail along the shores of Rock Creek with lookouts and 27 numbered stops. These stops are described in our Hickory Shores interpretive guide available at the trailhead. Additional hiking trails continue upstream and connect two seasonal waterfalls on the property. Benches along the way provide quiet spots to rest or picnic.
Spectacular sunsets, a quiet country paved road and Amish buggies await your visit. We are in Ashtabula County, home to 32 wineries and 19 covered bridges including the shortest and longest in the U.S. The second weekend in October brings the Covered Bridge Festival in nearby Jefferson, Ohio. We are conveniently located south of Lake Erie and 16 miles east of Pymatuning Reservoir for additional recreational opportunities.
We currently offer 2 campsites, and both are conveniently located near a cottage style bathroom which features a flush toilet and shower. The electric site provides a 30 amps connection and a hook-up to water if desired.
Each site has a campfire ring with outdoor chairs. A redwood picnic table is located at each site. An outdoor utility sink is also provided for dishwashing and can be found outside the bathhouse. Abundant firewood is available for $5.00 a wheelbarrow. (Honor system). If you are bringing dogs, please be aware that Sunny the inside/outside cat may greet you (he loves to say hello). For his safety and the safety of your pet, please keep dogs leashed.

Soak in the history at Portage Lakes State Park, where an old Indian portage path signified this area as an important trading spot back in the day. Wild cranberries and tamarack trees scatter along the boggy areas of the park, and a forest of beech maple means spotting the occasional white-tailed deer or raccoon. Boat around the network of eight lakes or fish and swim to your heart's content. Four different hiking trails, volleyball courts, and a disc golfing will keep that Greek God(dess) body of yours in perfect form. With winter activities like ice boating and snowmobiling, we highly recommend a chilly pilgrimage to these hallowed grounds as well.

Don’t worry hunters, fishers, and gatherers, there’s enough of Berlin Lake to go around! The more lake the merrier, right? This 8.518-acre wildlife area is most known for it’s fishin’ and huntin’. Other reasons for which--shall we say--the areas has become popular for includes dog training, and hunting dog field trials. Walleye, bass, and crappie dominate the fishing in Berlin Lake. And there is also a class D shooting range nearby. So what if you don’t want to hunt? You better believe that there is boating, picnicking, camping, and whatever other adventures you can imagine your two feet taking you to in the area. Fish on!

Whomever named Mosquito Lake Park obviously didn't understand good PR, but don't let the name discourage you. Nearly 2,500 acres of marshes and woodlands create a beautiful ambiance for your next getaway in Mother Nature. Stroll along one of two trails in the park, where robins and warblers tucked behind purple cresses and beech-maple trees may just move you to tears, or at least to write a haiku. Floating devices of just about every variety are invited to channel the 7,850 lake, and areas like a dog park means Fido is more than welcome on the scene. We doubt the mosquitos will be much of a problem, but if worse comes to worse, you can just light some of those good-smelling candles or load up on the catnip (look it up!) to fend off potential itchy bites.

Findley State Park's got a lot of wood, but don't have a dirty mind about it. White ash and black cherry forests create a scenic backdrop for this 838-acre refuge. For those interested in exploring the area, the abundance of paths make this park especially notable. Hike or bike 16 miles of trails, or decide to face the mountain biking challenge on Thorn Trail, which cuts sharp turns and weaves through wooded areas on a nine-mile loop. A smaller beach is good for some downtime, and the lakes welcome everything from motor boats to kayaks and canoes. Try your hand at disc golfing or fishing, Findley is your oyster!

We are situated on almost 3 acres of green space just minutes from downtown Cleveland. Located next to the zoo. We have amazing amenities that are winery as well as a really nice large duck pond. Pot pigs, miniature goats, chickens, and resident ducks. We are pet and family friendly.

We have just under 20 acres. You can drive right to the camp sites located about 700 foot behind the house. It is a peaceful setting over looking a pond, fishing is welcome. There is a pavilion and a playground. Kids and dogs are welcome. We are close to several local wineries and about 20 minutes from Lake Erie. Pymatuning Lake is 30 minutes away. Geneva on the Lake is about 30 minutes from us.
We have a catch and release fishing pond. There are 8 sites, all pretty spaced out to give privacy and a relaxing experience. 2 of which are pretty secluded site 6 and site 8. Campsites 1, 2,4,5 and 7have a view of the pond. Site 3 is near a meadow and sits behind all the other sites. Sites 1,2,3,7 can be RV or tent sites.
The pavilion adds a sense of comfort especially during rain days. We have corn hole , bocce ball and a few other relaxing games as well as a few card and board games for playing while enjoying the pavilion.

In 1955 when my family bought our 180-acre farm, there were Shagbark Hickory trees lining both shores of a rock-filled stream. Years later a 550-acre lake was created from damming our stream and Hickory shores became the wildlife- filled headwaters. Bald Eagles, fox, river otters, ospreys, beaver, and deer are frequent visitors to our farm along with other water birds and wildlife.
Recreational opportunities are plentiful including fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. The 50 mile Western Reserve Greenway paved bike trail is 1 1/2 miles away on country roads and other adjoining roads create unlimited quiet country rides and walks. In 2023 we have added a 3/4 mile wooded trail along the shores of Rock Creek with lookouts and 27 numbered stops. These stops are described in our Hickory Shores interpretive guide available at the trailhead. Additional hiking trails continue upstream and connect two seasonal waterfalls on the property. Benches along the way provide quiet spots to rest or picnic.
Spectacular sunsets, a quiet country paved road and Amish buggies await your visit. We are in Ashtabula County, home to 32 wineries and 19 covered bridges including the shortest and longest in the U.S. The second weekend in October brings the Covered Bridge Festival in nearby Jefferson, Ohio. We are conveniently located south of Lake Erie and 16 miles east of Pymatuning Reservoir for additional recreational opportunities.
We currently offer 2 campsites, and both are conveniently located near a cottage style bathroom which features a flush toilet and shower. The electric site provides a 30 amps connection and a hook-up to water if desired.
Each site has a campfire ring with outdoor chairs. A redwood picnic table is located at each site. An outdoor utility sink is also provided for dishwashing and can be found outside the bathhouse. Abundant firewood is available for $5.00 a wheelbarrow. (Honor system). If you are bringing dogs, please be aware that Sunny the inside/outside cat may greet you (he loves to say hello). For his safety and the safety of your pet, please keep dogs leashed.
Please NO SMOKING allowed on farm or in bathroom.

We had a great time! We have trouble finding spots for winter camping and this space was great. We actually forgot our tent poles so the trip could have needed a lot of adapting- but with the access to the barn, we were able to set up inside. Facilities & amenities were clean & as described. Loved watching the animals in the morning and setting up my hammock back by the chickens. Allison was a fantastic host. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great spot located right by CVNP. We enjoyed the campfire and laughed every time a goat would remind us we weren’t alone by sneezing. Even though the sun set early and the cool fall air filled the night we had fun. The barn was a nice surprise and good location for a small party. Woke up in the middle of the night to pee (very clean port-a-potty) and the stars were so clear and bright!

We enjoyed our stay though we were late to arrive an early to depart for a meeting in a N.E. Cleveland suburb. It was easy to find in the dark and the goats were fun after breakfast. If you have children it would be especially nice. In our case, our Great Pyrenees enjoyed meeting new friends.

Great place to relax, star gaze , enjoy a nice fire in fire pit. Very quiet and peaceful. You get greated by a black lab and chocolate lab , Tucker and Cooper very good Dogs luv to play Fetch , will bring you stick ...lol Both great dogs don't jump on you .. Just want to play fetch . Owners are Great people to.. Had good conversation with both . Highly recommend Old Smoky , lots of winerys, places to eat , and only short drive to lake Erie.

Safe, quiet and level. But with all the goats and chickens and turkeys…it was wonderful to spend time with the animals. Several are comfort goats and we were invited to go into the pen and enjoy their curiosity and interest and individual personalities. Who knew? First rate experience. Highly recommend.

I did not experience the winery because I got there after close and left before open so cannot speak to that but host was easy to communicate with and the price was great. Road's a little busy but pretty quiet by 11. The highway can barely be heard in the distance. Very much enjoyed the presence of some nearby chatty killdeer who also kindly quieted down after dark.

Jason and Marcie's place was practically perfect! I was in town for a concert and needed a place nearby the casino to rest and begin following day exploring CVNP. It's peaceful and roomy, but still within a few minutes of restaurants, retail , etc if you need to run an errand.
Marcie greeted me shortly after arrival and made sure I knew where everything was. She answered all my questions and was ok with me coming back late after the show. I was the only Hipcamper that night so I had the whole place to myself!

This campsite is easy to find. We parked close to pond with electric hookup. She had a canoe for us but we never used it. Fishing was good. Nice quiet place. Lots of paved trails to walk on. Would definitely recommend going here.
