The site was open with a beautiful view and felt very private. It was well taken care of with a nice electric hook up, bench, fire ring, and picnic bench. There was cut firewood ready. My Subaru Forester made it easily down the path. We had both a spot for shade and sun and we saw a beautiful sunrise/sunset. The stars were incredible. It was really quiet and peaceful with the exception of a barking neighbor dog (obviously not the fault of Handyland). There is a little pond and a gorgeous creek. It’s a 10 min walk maybe, but I was walking with a toddler. I brought a fishing pole and caught some creek chubs. The place is truly lovely. Josh was quick to reply and unobtrusive. My dog was able to run off leash the whole time. At the entrance there is bottled water for sale at $1 each. There’s well water I think but I couldn’t figure it out. I might have missed some directions there. There is also a microwave and little cook top and fridge. I believe that’s available to all the campers. We didn’t end up using it. There’s a little checkboard and table and it’s a cozy little spot if you want to interact with others at all.
I’d suggest making it clear that you need your own water unless you want to buy. That’s probably my only recommendation and they may have been my fault. Otherwise, definitely going to be back. No tick or mosquito issues either. Thanks again Josh!

We loved camping at this site! I was initially concerned with height and the ability to get a 50 ft combined rig back there. However, everything was super spacious and will maintained. It's a fantastic site. Absolutely beautiful, words do not do it justice. This is probably our favorite of all the Hipcamp sites we have stayed in. Highly recommended!

Great place for tent camping and plenty of room to roam. The electric outlet beside our campsite was a nice feature. We enjoyed the hot showers and restroom inside the barn. We already want to camp again here! We ate at Sue’s Lakeside restaurant for breakfast both mornings and highly recommend that too, it’s near the campsites.

Tammy and David’s place was perfect for an overnight stay. The tent sites were tucked off slightly into the woods for a peaceful and relaxing experience. I would stay again!

We found our new favorite spot! We tent camped in the RV/tent site. It had a beautiful view, was open with lots of places to put a tent, had a wood bench in addition to the picnic table and fire ring, and there was a small clump of trees in the middle so we moved our chairs with the sun to always have shade. The stargazing was awesome. Because it is up on a hill, there was a nice breeze (always good for hot weather camping). It was very private, away from the container/cabin sites. There is an actual flush toilet, sink with running water and hand soap and paper towels near the container/cabin sites. Our dog loves to play in creeks, and this was a nice one. Lastly, the hosts were great - helpful, friendly, and informative while also giving us space. Oh, and there didn’t seem to be too much road traffic noise. We are definitely going back!
