Learn more about this land: I'm an artist and my husband and I have a small homestead with chickens and sometimes sheep/goats. Look out for electric netting to keep our herd/flock protected. The lighting over our back field is divine in the late afternoon, or if you prefer a wooded setting, we have a small wooded area across the street from our house. The area is hilly and rather private-- only one neighbor is visible when the trees are leafed out. Electric is accessible from an outlet at the backyard fence or in the barn. Our pastures are home to Purebred Charolais and Angus/Simmental cattle, a contract hog growing operation and free-range poultry which provide fresh eggs daily. Guests are welcome to pitch in with chores like feeding the animals, collecting eggs, and unloading hay, or just relax and soak up the peace and quiet of the countryside. The house is fully air conditioned and heated, has all the amenities of home, but takes you back to a simpler time. Our campsites are all set apart from one another in various locations on the 240 acre farm. Secluded and unique, each campsite has its own charm. We provide guests with a fire ring and a shovel, and some sites have a picnic table. Hiking trails are marked throughout the land. We booked the Bison Tipi Retreat for a last minute, late season trip to Nether’s Flint Quarry and I am so glad we did! The property is beautiful and unique to most stays one may find. We really enjoyed watching the bison eat by the light of the moon and hearing the creek that is nearby. The kitchen supplies were adequate for cooking our meals. The tipi was roomy. The camp toilet was clean and had no smell. We are already talking about a trip here next year! This was a great break from the hustle of everyday life.

My kids and I had an absolute blast camping at Tullihas in the Trees! It's just as amazing as it looks in the pictures and so much more! The beds were unquestionably comfy, the cabin very well appointed, and despite the freezing night temperatures, the little heater in the corner kept us toasty warm without a struggle. My kidds loved the swings, I enjoyed the hammock quite a bit, and that was easily the nicest latrine I've seen in my 30+ years of camping. A perfectly sized cabin for a family of three!

We had a great time at the swimming hole- the host Carlos answered all of our questions and the location was so cool. We took two 8 year old boys and they were in heaven fishing and playing in the creek. We are already aiming on bringing them back in the spring. Beautiful wooded lot sandwiched between a bike trail and a creek. Each space included a fire ring, and a nearby latrine was available for use. This is an excellent place if you are looking to camp and have things to do. The host mentioned the creek is high enough to canoe or kayak in the spring. You can also enjoy access to the bike trail right from the site, and the Hopewell earthworks are within a short driving distance. The hosts were on-site when we arrived and were very friendly and helpful. Firewood is also available for purchase right there on the spot. There are also multiple sites located around a common area, making it ideal for large groups. Overall, my sister and I enjoyed our stay.

Our long weekend at GloryField Hospitality Farm in South Charleston, Ohio was nothing short of magical. From the moment we pulled into the spacious RV pad with our 40-ft Class A, we knew we had found a hidden gem—so much better than the crowded state parks. The level, gravel site overlooks the wetland pond and is well maintained, featuring full hookups (electric, water, and sewer), a picnic table, and a fire ring with convenient access to firewood. The site has good water pressure and well positioned connections relative to the pad. WiFi is available, but plan on using cellular or satellite if you need faster speeds for streaming or VPN. The catch-and-release pond located in a secluded corner of the property was a highlight of the trip. We caught several largemouth bass and crappie. We spent time just relaxing in the benches, listening to the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the fall corn. Kimberly, the host and owner of GloryField, was warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge, she made us feel right at home—even inviting the family to experience a unique farm experience.
