Weekend Trip to Bull Mountain Ridge

Beautiful and quiet spot with a good view. William was very accommodating and kind. We sadly had to leave before our second night due to some health issues but it was a cozy spot and good value for the cost. Definitely will come back when we visit the Asheville area again!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay At the Ridge Campground! Cabin #5 was perfect for a little get-away, with its balcony overlooking a flowing stream in which we enjoyed searching for salamanders! Meandering on the Walkin Trail, we found many wildflowers, birds, and even a newt! Would recommend! There were lots of hidden treasures on this property. We also appreciated the bathhouse and the touches of care with the garden beds spread about the property. Would recommend - especially at such an affordable price. Cheers!

2 nights at At the Ridge Camp-Riverside Escapes

This cute little cabin was right on the river, perfect spot for me and my dogs to set up camp For a few days. Short drive to some of the coolest waterfalls in NC, or just enjoy the river right in front of you. I was pleasantly surprised by thr the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the cabin as well as heat and ac for all your needs. Hosts were very friendly and helpful

The farm was such a great place to stay! Our daughter loved seeing the animals. This was our first Hipcamp experience and were very pleased! We will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our trip at Nate's spot. We are locals and booked this site with the added hot tub and outdoor kitchen as a kind of staycation. It was such a treat. Everything was clean and the site has tons of space for multiple campers or tents. A bear proof trash can would be a smart addition in the future.

We had an awesome stay! Louedith was such a sweetheart, and was very accommodating when the booking site gave us issues. Clean and quiet area. Clean port-a-potty for the site. Water was available, as well as trash disposal. There was a deck at our site, and an adorable barn down the road with games inside, and the mountain views were excellent. Also allowed pets so that was a plus. Price was definitely nice as well. Would definitely stay again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Weekend Trip to Outercamp, Blue Ridge Falls Retreat

It's been a week since my stay at Wild Fairies, and I've thought about it every day. It was exactly the peaceful break I needed after a hectic few weeks. Truly a serene place to get away and spend some quiet time with nature. I even saw a bear just past the shower! Plus a few turkey and plenty of birds enjoying the Spring weather. The yurt was just gorgeous. Everything I could've possibly needed was provided. I was kicking myself for leaving my binoculars at home, but there was even a pair in one of the drawers! The bed was comfortable after a day out on the trails, and the outdoor kitchen area was perfect for cooking up meals to enjoy on the porch. Thank you, Evan, for making and sharing such a lovely place!

We had a lovely time here! The river was a gorgeous backdrop and the camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of hikes nearby and Brevard isn’t too far away.

The views were beautiful. The setting was peaceful. There was a camper parked right next to us, but fortunately the neighbors were friendly and quiet. The barn was a nice place to hang out, but it was very dirty and not many games. We still enjoyed swinging in the chair swings. We also loved the fire pit and mountain views.

The views were awesome. The site was clean and well taken care of. It was very easy to back into the site and to pull out of. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Asheville.

Catherine’s property, views, animals and charisma were just a delight. We got the tour and the donkey meet and scratch (highly recommended) and just had a blast. Would 100% go back and stay on the farm. Very close to a great little town Waynesville where we found lots of delicious eats and beers.

Just a wonderful spot and the kids age 5 and 6 were overjoyed with the barn house. This is a really good base camp to be able to then go to Asheville and Hendersonville to enjoy the sites around. Our hosts were easy going and friendly. Would definitely visit again! Thank you :-)

This place is so perfect I wish I could keep it all to myself. Great location for all Asheville area activities. Don’t feel like adventuring? Just stay and hang out in the hot tub! This was our second stay here and it just doesn’t compare to any other spot so we keep coming back! This place is a dream! A couple of tips that helped make our stay extra comfortable: we brought a pop-up shower surround ( found on Amazon) to make the outdoor shower a more private experience. We also brought a smart TV to connect to the wi-fi so we could watch movies while hanging in the hot tub.

PLEASE NOTE, our rate is based on the number of vehicles in your group. The first vehicle is included in the nightly rate and admits 4 campers. WE CHARGE FOR ADDITIONAL CARS. The charge will be added to your booking once you select the number of vehicles at checkout. Please note that each additional car admits four campers. For EXAMPLE, 2 cars = 8 campers total. Checking in before 5 pm is requested. Later times may be available with prior arrangements. Our farm is very dark and navigating at night is difficult. The site's first appeal is the amazing view of Bull Mountain Ridge. Beautiful all year long, but particularly in late October when the leaves are in their richest colors. The site is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. It feels private and tucked away, but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15 minute drive; ride services and shuttles are both easy to secure and quite affordable. Additional parking is available for a fee. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view. I usually try to say hello to folks and make sure they get settled in alright, but let me know if you'd prefer just to come in and have privacy. Don't feel the need to come to the house unless you can't get a hold of me via text and you need assistance. Nice secluded tent campsite on an angora bunny farm. Listen to the sound of the mountain creek while you sleep, and cuddle with bunnies by the running water wheel during the day. Very relaxing spot to decompress and unplug on 7 acres that are mostly wooded. Pisgah National Forest is just two miles away with plenty of hiking to explore. The charming town of Burnsville is just 10 miles on a beautiful, scenic highway. Homeplace Brewery, Birdfoot Taproom, and Snapdragon are among the local spots to visit. Asheville is also nearby at just under an hour’s drive. The trail entrance to Big Butt is a couple miles away with a few great overlook points. If you want to do the whole 24 mile length of the trail (featuring 5 mountain peaks above 6,000ft), I can make shuttle arrangements for your party to be picked up at the end. Navitat Ziplining is very close, as well as gorgeous flower farms and Mountain Light Sanctuary to visit over in Barnardsville. Come enjoy our mountain community!
