There is a large 60 inch television in the beautifully-furnished living room, and a relaxing sunroom that faces the distinguished old barn. The doggie door leads out to a perfectly fenced area of the backyard where your dog can run and play safely. The neighborhood is very dog friendly and there is a nice 1 mile walk around the block. You can see water from the front porch and put your boat in at the ramp in the Marshallberg Harbor. Guest access The entire house is open for your vacation getaway except the upstairs attic. Other things to note Marshallberg looks out over Core Sound and the Cape Lookout lighthouse. You will see fishing boats of all kinds going by. You can take a ferry from Harkers Island over to the lighthouse to see it up close and then cross an elevated path to the ocean side of Core Banks. Feel free to bring your own boat and put it in at the Marshallberg Harbor boat ramp. There is no charge for using the ramp.
