My farm had been untouched for years and only used as hay farming. It is rolling hills known by the locals as "Butterfly Hill" Which the farm is home to many species of butterflies in the summer. I know the area was inhabited by native Americans many decades ago. I have found a few broken arrow heads over the years. The farm is beautiful and quiet. I have a beautiful hiking trail around the property for you to take your fur babies on. The cabin is right on a beautiful stream too. There are several state parks nearby and river tubing within 10 -30 minutes. Hot showers and potable water just a few feet away.

It was built by my Uncle Frank who cut the wood off the land and milled it into the lumber he needed to make this unique, rustic space. The vintage camper was located in a quiet, peaceful location. It has the quaintness expected with a camper of this period. We enjoyed the privacy and the open space surrounding it. The soft chicken and rooster noise was welcome. The owner was quick to respond to any issues and quite kind as well as thoughtful. We were practically within Hanging Rock State Park so this camper stay made it easy for us to explore but still have a comfortable place to return.

I stayed at The Love Shack this weekend and had a wonderful experience. Wendy was a wonderful host—thoughtful, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to creating a beautiful space for her guests. She even cleared the leaves off the trail before I arrived, which made for such a lovely walk through the woods. I spotted a deer along the way which was nice.
The A-frame shelter was cozy and warm. I enjoyed the most relaxing nap in the hammock. I highly recommend!

We had a great time at the love shack! It was perfectly cozy, and Wendy has done such a wonderful job creating an accommodative experience that really feels unique. The shack itself was more spacious than I expected, and the setting was beautiful, were very grateful that Wendy would share her beautiful land with the public! Even though it rained we were able to stay warm and dry. It was a really great place to stay, and I hope we get another chance to visit.

Weekend Trip to The Vineyard Lodging
The Vineyard is a beautiful campground in a fantastic location. The cabin was very nice and suited our needs perfectly, though we actually ended up staying Nextdoor to Seminole in the Carolina cabin. Greg was an excellent host who was responsive and very accommodating. A perfect option for someone looking for a cabin instead of a tent or RV site. We enjoyed our stay. Bedding was provided as well as a small charcoal grill for cooking.

We loved our stay at the Loveshack and if you’re thinking of booking this spot, DO IT! The property is stunning, with trails steps away from the Shack and a babbling brook. The bed slept wonderfully and even with 42° temperature nightly lows, we were comfortable with an extra blanket from home. Wendy is a wonderful host who is attentive and respectful. We also brought our beagle, who had a blast playing in the stream and exploring the property with us. Wendy also provided some boardgames and some basic cookware for guests to use as well, which came in handy when we realized our camp stove was broken! We couldn’t have asked for more relaxing, magical, and nature filled weekend. We genuinely cannot wait to come back!

My friends and our pups had the best time at the Treehouse! The views were great, the space was clean and had everything we needed to grill/make meals. The beds were comfy as well and the hosts were very nice and welcoming! We'll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Marshall Creek Farm
Very private site near Hanging Rock State park. The cabin stayed cool during the day and warm at night. The bed was super comfortable and the site was setup with everything you'd need for a weekend camp trip! We enjoyed our trip!

2 nights at Mystic Meadow Farm Glamping.
My third stay at the love shack and it was as great as ever! You will have everything you need and more there. Wendy is such a thoughtful host and takes great care of the property. It's a really lovely place to be!
Wendy is actually an incredibly skilled massage therapist and was able to fit me in for a session. I highly recommend booking with her if you can!! She worked wonders on me.

Great location close to Hanging Rock, peaceful, nice basic kitchen set up. Trail onsite (which we plan to explore next time) Very cozy, host is very nice, went out of his way to make our stay wonderful ! The driveway is steep, my ford fiesta could not make it up the incline. I parked at the landing just at the bottom of the hill. Otherwise 11/10 we will definitely be back anytime we are in the area!!!

Quiet, well equipped little cabin. The fire pit, chairs, and picnic table were really nice. The portapotty was clean. I appreciated all the items available (hand/dish washing station, shower, cooler, grill, pots, dishes) since we of course forgot a few things. Secluded, but safe. The bed was very comfortable. Nicely cleared area, safe for my toddler to run around. Beautiful area. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Marshall Creek Farm
I had an amazing time at the cabin. I would 100% come back to this location. My favorite thing about this location are all of the paths you’re able to explore. There’s a really nice little river on the property you should check out if you have time. I don’t have anything to say about this location but there are a lot of spider webs and frogs. I actually accidentally stepped on a big one after dark but he was fine. The owners came and changed out trash and they were very nice people. If you’re looking for a nice secluded area this is a great spot.
