Campers will experience the full beauty of nature while enjoying comforting amenities in a cozy yet spacious setting. You won’t miss traditional tent camping with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a microwave, French press, dishes, and refrigerator. Sleeping is easy with both a single and a double bed. We’re just five minutes from restaurants, a library, a gift shop, a gallery, and Hanging Rock. There’s plenty to explore in this quaint area, so your stay can be as relaxing or as fun-filled as you’d like.This site is backed by woods connected to Hanging Rock State Park. Convenient and fun amenities, such as a fire pit, comfortable chairs for stargazing, grill and outside dining table will be quite an upgrade to tent camping. Although small, this camper has a full kitchen with a microwave, cooktop, French press coffee maker, electric kettle and refrigerator. No need to bring anything but your food, as cookware and dishes are provided. Bedding is stored under the dinette seats. The couch can be pulled out to create a full-sized bed. The dinette table can be folded down to create a twin bed. Please be sure to secure the table once you have set it up again for dining to make sure the leg doesn't slip. The bathroom is quite small and only contains a toilet and cabinets for toiletries. Please use the sprayer while pressing the flusher on the front of the toilet with your foot to clear waste. The kitchen cabinets above the sink can be opened by PUSHING. The cabinets contain dishes, coffee press and food items. The kitchen drawers need to be pulled up in order to pull them out. These drawers contain utensils and hardware items. The manual for the grill and electric kettle is also in the drawer. The Mr. Heater gas heater is in the closet with extra propane bottles. The windows do not all have handles to open, but the handles are removable to be used on all windows. Please do not overtighten or wind too far once opened, or the window will come off the track. The trashcan is located in the outside rear of the camper.

Vintage Camper Hanging Rock View

Second Stay at the little vintage camper. Just as peaceful, quiet, and private and so close the Park. We waked to birdsong and chickens, which we enjoy. We used the firepit in the quiet of night with the stars for company. Bridgette is a great host and makes our stay easy and comfortable. An issue or two were addressed promptly and kindly.

Vintage Camper Hanging Rock View

The vintage camper was located in a quiet, peaceful location. It has the quaintness expected with a camper of this period. We enjoyed the privacy and the open space surrounding it. The soft chicken and rooster noise was welcome. The owner was quick to respond to any issues and quite kind as well as thoughtful. We were practically within Hanging Rock State Park so this camper stay made it easy for us to explore but still have a comfortable place to return.

Vintage Camper Hanging Rock View

Very cute vintage camper in prime location to Hanging Rock and Pilot Mtn. It was perfect for my first solo camping trip and had all the necessities for ease rather than tent camping, plus extra sweet gifts from Bridgette including fresh eggs from her chickens. Will absolutely be back for another quiet nature getaway!
