We had another great weekend at the meadow. The grandkids fished and play all day and enjoyed their s'mores at night around the campfire. The site includes the use of the campers cabin with a bathroom and sink along with the outdoor shower. Those extra comforts make it a special place to enjoy the camping experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are impeccably maintained and intelligently designed. There's a very cool hiking path around the grounds, perfect for walking the dog. We would stay here again and highly recommend this campground. If you are in this area, this is the place to stay!

We absolutely loved this place. So peaceful and relaxing. Being close to restaurants was nice. Bring your poles , great fishing here.

3 nights at Cedar Creek Campground at Elease

We wanted a quiet peaceful few days someplace to unwind and rest. We found it! The quiet allowed us to get some needed rest and the full hookups and WiFi were a blessing! It was all we could have hoped for. They have about 15 sites total, some for tents, some for boondocking with your rv, some graveled, some grassy, some remote tent sites but only 1 with full hookups and paved. There are several hiking trails, one porcelain flush toilet, a dishwashing station and an outdoor shower for campers to use. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the hosts are very kind and helpful. If your looking for quiet, peaceful relaxation, we highly recommend!!

We rented 'The Whole Enchilada' for 7 families with kids ranging from 4 to 7 years of age. It was the perfect way to initiate them to tent camping and they all loved it. We can't wait to go back. Wes and Kaitlin are superb hosts, very responsive and accommodating.

The accomodations were excellent! You would not find a hotel as well appointed as this site, and it still would not contain the ambiance nor character of the setting. I will definitely be staying at Sugarneck again!

Phillip's property was absolutely perfect! Great shade throughout the day, but plenty of sun around too for solar or warming up after a chilly night. The most private/peaceful hipcamp on my journey this spring. The outdoor shower was perfect with plenty of hot water. The small bathhouse was so nice, with fridge and freezer space if needed as well. (Every hipcamp should offer this to travelers!!) I slept soundly after watching fireflies dance around the pond and listening to the frog symphony. I absolutely hope to stay again sometime!!

Great campground! Clean, quiet, and peaceful. No cell service, which isn't necessarily bad! They have wifi if you're in the spots close to the house. Really nicely landscaped, and laid out.

Since we love camping so much we decided to carve out 15 campsites for other campers to enjoy. Most of our campsites are gravel and level. We have a couple of sites that are grass for tenters. We have only site 1 that has full hookups. All the other sites are boondocking with water only.

We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 6 years ago & enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

You're welcome to fish and walk around the property. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the firepit and the beautiful starry nights. The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Located just a few minutes from Saxapahaw Village, it's a convenient and gorgeous place to stay. While we are happy to be a late-night crash spot for after shows at the Haw River Ballroom, we hope you stay a minute to walk the fields, hang in the hammocks, sit by the pond, or take a swing from the branches of our 200 year old White Oak tree. You'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. In front of the barn is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a fire pit, chairs, wood-fired grill, handwashing station, and farm table. The shared outhouse/composting toilet is next to the pine stand with a white roof. Please note, this farm stay is an agritourism activity subject to the limit of liabilities as described in N.C.G.S § 99E‑32(b). We have sheep and pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. You are welcome to look but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats. Pork and lamb from the farm is available for purchase, as well as kiln-dried firewood. Our farm is a beautiful, private 25 acres with an 1830s house, outbuildings, animals, orchards, gardens, pastures, old trees, wildlife habitat, a spring, and woods. Here you can relax; watch nature; meet our chickens, goats, horse, cats, and dog; learn about archaeology, history, plants, and mead making; and get eggs and homegrown seasonal food. Listen to birdsong and watch clouds during the day, wander a path through our ca. 5 acres of woods, see fireflies in the evening, and star watch at night. Nearby are hiking, horseback riding, historical sites, fishing, antiques, wineries, shooting, and more. We are located in a rural area and have many different domesticated and wild animals so you may hear diverse animal noises and see or smell animal poop, although we try to keep things clean and tidy. Our neighbors have dogs, cattle, and chickens/roosters and occasionally shoot guns during daylight hours (one neighbor is a sporting club with skeet shooting and hunting dogs) but typically our farm is a quiet and peaceful place. We mow regularly and our rooster and chicken ladies wander far and wide eating bugs but, in the summer, they can't get every mosquito and tick so please plan accordingly for your own comfort.

We are a family owned horse farm managed by a USDF Bronze medalist where horses are boarded, trained with lessons given. The Hobbit House, as the name implies, is small and cozy and, if you really like each other, it can accommodate two. There is a double bed, a bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. In the kitchen there is a microwave, coffeemaker, and small fridge. It is supplied with dishes, silverware, cups, and there are condiments in the refrigerator. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We are a 15 min. drive to the Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve that has several levels of trails ranging from inexperienced to experienced hikers. We are 5 min. away from the Carolina Horse Park, and 20 min. from Pinehurst, where there are renowned golf courses, and 15 min. away from the quaint Southern town of Southern Pines. We are also 2 hours from NC and SC beaches and 3 hours from the mountains.
