This campground has great amenities! We really appreciated the clean bathroom, dish washing station and nature trail. My family enjoyed our stay at this curated space and would be happy to stay here again!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights for the second time there with our A-liner. The campsites are nestled under loblolly pine trees and beautifully manicured property. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and respected our privacy. We will be staying here regularly as it is a perfect, quiet place to enjoy nature and a respite from our busy schedules.

Easy to find, easy to park at, convenient to I-95, safe, clean, and so many extras! There are even well marked trails (with colored blazes!) running throughout the property. Great signage throughout the property, but the signage is tastefully done and not intrusive to the overall camping esthetic. The hosts are fantastic- quick and clear communicators. They engage as much or as little as you want. As noted in the HipCamp listing, the cellular service for AT&T is sketchy at best. I could not set up an AT&T hotspot, but did manage to get a few emails out and a few SMS messages out. The HipCamp app would not connect due to the poor AT&T service. The hosts offer a WiFi package …. I did not take advantage of this, but if you are on AT&T and need connectivity, I would go for the WiFi addon. This trip was only an overnight stay for me on a south bound journey, but I would like to come back and stay a few days. It is clear that Mike and Scott know exactly what a HipCamper would need for a stay. Thank you Mike and Scott!!!

Weekend Trip to Parkton Place

If you are traveling on I-95, it's a great place to spend the night. It's close to the interstate, very attractive, and there is a friendly emu near the water spicket. The goats and pot bellied pig are pretty cool too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cedar Creek Campsites: Site 06, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Michael the host made me feel welcome from the start. The campsite itself is a hidden gem, providing a quite and peaceful environment away from town. It was the perfect escape to unwind and reconnect with nature. The quiet surroundings allowed me to truly relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overall, my stay at Cedar Creek was fantastic. If you’re looking for a charming spot to camp, with a welcoming host and a peaceful atmosphere, this is the place for you. I can’t wait to return!

Camp was as described. Upon arrival I met Mike, a personable and accommodating super-host. Location;Very private. Road noise; minimal. slept very well the nights I stayed. Directions were easy to follow. Michael was quick to reply to any texting/questions. AT&T signal: 1&2bars 5g, (2 bars LTE), was capable to stream/work online. solo female camper; I felt safe here. Thank you for sharing your property and creating such a wonderful campground Mike & Scott.

I knew I would be passing thru and in late. Though my reservation came in just a few hours before arriving, I was able to quickly make contact with Carla. We maintained great communication. The land was well maintained, the pond was beautiful (huge catfish), specious, and quiet. Sweet folks, perfectly located, I’ll be stopping in again.

We had a great experience at this campsite! The site was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. The owners were helpful and made everything so easy for us. We stayed at Site 1, which had electricity, water, and a cement pad that made pulling in and out a breeze. It was perfectly leveled, so setup took no time at all. We also appreciated the grassy area, which was perfect for walking our dogs. Everything about this site was convenient and stress-free. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Wow. This campground was one of the most beautiful, quiet, and well thought out places we have ever stayed at. The sites were impeccable. The grounds were impeccable. And the touches like a marked walking trail were just, well, incredible. I always try to find new and interesting places to stay, and my husband was incredulous that I found such a gem. The owner takes amazing care of this property and you can see it and everything at this campground.

Michael's haven is a true gem. It's gorgeous, has privacy between spaces, is incredibly well kept and clean. It is a hidden forest oasis and has moved to the #1 spot of my favorite Hip Camp sites. 👏🏼👏🏼 What they have created on 30 acres is magical and must be experienced if you travels take you in their direction. It's a little bit of a drive from the highway, but WELL worth the drive.

Everything, literally, went well. Michael is hospitable, conversational and kind, while also respectful of privacy and space. I enjoyed my first stay (headed south) so much that I booked again on my way back up north. 🤗

First off, what Mike and Scott have done to their property is amazing! The amount of detail they have put into making their campground what it is-is perfect. We had site 1 with full hookups. They greeted us when we arrived and helped guide us into our site. The southern pine forest brought back many good childhood memories. We will definitely be back again! I will say if you have a dog that needs to use the bathroom at 5:30am and you hear loud sounds in the distance, don’t worry! It’s not a zombie apocalypse, but what I believe is a pig farm and they were being fed. 😉😄
