Our property is a private 25 acre forestry plot connected to an adjoining 130 acre family-owned plot, with only 1 house on the 150+ acres. Most of the land is wooded with a couple large fields. Long private driveway. 3+ miles of private maintained walking trails great for human and dog guests! There are a number of creeks that run on the property and a decent size pond with many species of birds- perfect for watching while having a morning coffee, or for an afternoon stint of fishing. 

Close proximity to downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill (12-15 minutes), 15 minutes to downtown Hillsborough, and 25 minutes to Durham.

Scott’s Lakeview Camp and Park

50+ acres of woods, water and walking/Rolling trails with two small lakes and a STOL runway for experienced ultralight and short takeoff and landing aircraft pilots only! Room for RV’s but no power or sewer service.  Room for mountain bikes, hiking, drone racing and flying, R/C float planes and RC boat racing, Flying, fishing, boating and aswimming at your own risk. Private meadow and pond

Our property is a small hobby farm. The meadow you will be camping in was formed in 1994 when hurricane Fran came through and laid down several acres of hardwood trees. The fallen trees were harvested and the land was cleared and a pond was built and a blueberry patch was planted.

Pitch your tent(s) in our private meadow with a small pond on our 21 acre property. You're welcome to fish and walk around the property. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the firepit and the beautiful starry nights.  We have a very friendly farm dog named Luna that does roam the property and will likely visit you. Chapel Hill, Mebane, and Hillsborough are all short drives from your campsite.

We cater to familes and small groups, NO PARTIES!

SXPHW Country Club Camping & Events

The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Guests are welcome to wander the fields, relax in the hammocks, fish the stocked pond, or enjoy the giant swing suspended from the branches of our 200-year-old white oak tree. 

The Country Club is an ideal spot for a quiet evening under the stars, a peaceful retreat after shows at the Haw River Ballroom, or a basecamp for exploring the river, shops, and restaurants of Saxapahaw. Chapel Hill, Mebane, Hillsborough, and Pittsboro are all just a short drive away. 

In addition to camping, we host weddings, reunions, retreats, corporate functions, and other private events, as well as public gatherings throughout the year. As a membership club, we offer members special perks along with opportunities to connect, socialize, and enjoy the "country-club" lifestyle. On arrival you'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. In front of the barn is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a fire pit, chairs, wood-fired grill, handwashing station, and farm table. The shared outhouse/composting toilet is next to the pine stand with a white roof. 

We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats. 

Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store.

Ancient Spring Farm

Our farm is a beautiful, private 25 acres with an 1830s house, outbuildings, animals, orchards, gardens, pastures, old trees, wildlife habitat, a spring, and woods. Here you can relax; watch nature; meet our chickens, goats, horse, cats, and dog; take guided tours to learn about the farm, animals, plants, archaeology, and history or learn to make mead; and purchase eggs and homegrown seasonal food and products. Listen to birdsong and watch clouds during the day, wander a path through our 5 acres of woods, see fireflies in the evening, and star watch at night. Nearby are hiking, horseback riding, historical sites, fishing, antiques, breweries, shooting, and more.

We are located in a rural area and have many different domesticated and wild animals so you may hear diverse animal noises and see or smell animal poop, although we try to keep things clean and tidy. Our neighbors have dogs, cattle, and chickens/roosters and occasionally shoot guns during daylight hours (one neighbor is a sporting club with skeet shooting and hunting dogs) but typically our farm is a quiet and peaceful place. We mow regularly and our rooster and chicken ladies wander far and wide eating bugs but, in the summer, they can't get every mosquito and tick so please plan accordingly for your own comfort.

If recent rain requires parking along the driveway rather than within the campsite, a blue metal sign will show you where to park.

Native loblolly pines on all sides provide privacy from neighbors and the rest of the farm. Enjoy a fire in the above-ground firepit.

River Farm on the Neuse River Trail

River Farm is a fantastic stop if you are cycling the Neuse River Trail and need an over night stay. We are a peaceful campsite located along the Greenway Trail 20 minutes from Downtown Raleigh and 10 minutes from Clayton. The farm offers private wooded meadows with direct access to the Greenway for walking and cycling. Campers can either rent a tent or bring their own, choosing between secluded spots, shaded areas, or open spaces. The campsite is accessible via a gravel farm track and is close to the Greenway, river, and main house for bathroom access.

Nearby attractions include the Bailey Sarah William Preserve with 447 acres and 16.6 miles of multi-use trails, Sandy Pines Preserve with 563 acres of trails and fishing (18 minutes away), and Robertson Mill Pond for trails and seasonal kayaking (17 minutes away). For water activities, Neuse Adventures Canoe and Kayak Rentals is just 12 minutes away.

River Farm offers a tranquil camping experience with the convenience of nearby Raleigh events, including the Walnut Creek Music Park, only 20 minutes away for concertgoers.

Boulder Creek Hideaway

Hey tent campers: Welcome to Boulder Creek Hideaway.

It's located about 12 miles North of Burlington, NC. 1 Mile off of the highway. It is very private, and seculed, no humans around. It's just one 12x16 tent platform next to this beautiful natural rock formation, you might think you're in the mountains. The drive into the camp is best suited for 4x4, Jeeps, SUV and such. 
Its not suited for cars!! (But there is a parking place for cars if you want to park with a short 200 yard walk into camp). The camp offers a natural Rock firepit, a very nice clean, non smelly outhouse with composting toilet, a picnic table and a prep table for your campstove and supplies.

The Homestead At Little Creek

Welcome to The Homestead at Little Creek, where families, couples, and nature-lovers come to unplug and reconnect. Tucked away in the suburbs of Raleigh, our homestead offers a magical glamping getaway with a blend of down-to-earth charm, playful and friendly farm animals, and a vibrant flower field (open May-October).

Wake up in a 16' bell tent or teepee directly beside the cow pasture, with the sounds of goats and chickens that are eager to greet you. Haw River RV Camp Spot

This is a secluded, standalone, pull-through camping spot for all types of RVs. It is a nice, level, gravel lot off of a private gravel road. We have all utilities available: well water, 50A power, and a septic dump-station (please be mindful to not dump chemicals/cleaners). In the daytime, the near-by gun range can be heard in the distance. At night, after 10PM or so, the neighborhood is&nbsp;typically quiet. Hidden River Farm and Retrievers is located at the end of a private dead end road.  We have two inviting campsites.  Both have fire pits and the option to hook to power (for an additional fee) should the camper need or want it. We also have a patio with sitting and eating area.

Campground & Zoo

Liberty Acres Campground & RV Park is located in Liberty, NC on a 60-acre Farm and Zoo, home to Horses and exotic animals, such as Zebras, Kangaroos, Monkeys, Lemurs, Foxes, Llamas, Alpacas and more.

Reside in a field overlooking a pond with capybara, black swans and other waterfowl. The adjacent field is home to llamas.  RV sites have 30 & 50 amp hook ups, a central dump station as well as individual connections at each site along with water connections and a dumpster on site. Turtleback Cove

Just like a turtle's back, this property sits on a hill with a view overlooking sunsets on Lake Cammack. 
Located about 15 minutes outside of Burlington this lakefront property offers an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of daily life without giving up all of today's modern conveniences; unless you want of course. 

Positioned next to the marina this site allow easy access to the marina to launch your boat, kayak, paddleboard, or even fish. Or stay o. The property and just enjoy the chatter of the marina from your hammock. Access to quick groceries and gas is just a 3 mile drive and full grocery store is less than 10 miles. 

So whether you are looking to take your family on that first camping trip or seasoned campers, you will find a space here to fit your needs.

Beautiful 20+ acres with a large pond all to yourself! Situated conveniently next to the state highway, our farm has a barn and newly planted blue berries and fruit trees. Fishing, canoeing, stargazing, wildlife watching... a perfect place to relax and unwind. Local attractions include Animal Park at the Conservators Center and the charming downtown Mebane. 

Pets are welcomed. Take a walk around the pond or venture into the woods, and enjoy your stay!

For those return campers and all new guests to Honah Lee Farms, we are no longer accepting trailers or RVs longer than 12 ft. due to the narrowing of our driveway from the recent flood-waters. Our camp is the shared vision of Brian and Lee and son Michael.  We fell in love with this beautiful property where we plan to build our eco-friendly, off-grid homestead and farm. Lee's favorite song and the inspiration behind our name is "Puff the Magic Dragon" by Peter, Paul and Mary. A land of whimsical imagination, beauty and maybe a dragon or three is our shared vision for the farm.

The camping options are flexible, ranging from prepared campsites along both Little and Deep creeks with composting outhouses nearby, to "Camper's Choice" options where you may hike in or drive in and create your own camping experience. Please note that since the "Camper's Choice" options allow freedom to select hike-in or drive-in options, the exact distance to nearest outhouse may vary.

There are 144 acres to explore so campers can set up a secluded getaway or cluster together in a group.

 We are flexible and can work with you to create a camping experience that suits your needs.

Honah Lee Farms has over 140 acres of woods with open fields distributed throughout.  We are bordered to the south by the Flat River, to the west by Deep Creek, and to the north by Little Creek.  Most of our campsites are nestled in the trees along one of these bodies of water and all campers have access to the 10 foot waterfall area where Deep Creek runs into the Flat River.

Honah Lee Farms just welcomed our two new hosts, miniature donkeys Midnight Sky and Tilion Moon.  Donkeys are very social creatures and love visitors.
