Amenities include solar power with battery backup; indoor rope lighting; shower house with joolca tankless hot water heater using collected rain water; composting toilet; separate outhouse; outdoor Breeo fire pit with grill; 4 Adirondack chairs; table and 4 chairs; indoor wood stove; Coleman gas stove; mini fridge; rapid boil tea pot; coffee press; Italian coffee percolator; cookware; plates and bowls; utensils; cups; mugs; complementary coffee and tea; 5 gallons of potable fresh well water in water cooler dispenser; ice in water cooler; beds include sheets and blankets; pillows, towels and luxury blanket throws; cleaning supplies; games and books. Property is located 20 min north of Asheville, 10 min west of Weaverville, 10 min south of Marshall, 5 min from French Broad River. Great place to go birding. You may hike on our 18-acre property, but please use bug spray and check yourself for ticks. Your dog should use flea/tick prevention. AWD is recommended. Plenty of firewood is available.

Nestled up to the Great Smoky Mountains National park, this property is unique in everything it offers. Riverside on the renowned fly fishing river, the Tuckasegee River, or ridge top on Cullowhee Mountain, elevation 3850'. There are improved camp sites, a yurt, or free range camping and hiking. The fall views are spectacular, wherever you decide to locate. We implement " Leave no trace" rules and welcome respectful 4wd access to our ridge top. We are currently endeavoring agroforestry techniques to respectfully harvest the bounties of the woodlands in our Living Mountain Farms online store. Our hope is to one day make this magical mountain sustain those who reside upon the reserve, and provide a most memorable stay for our guests!Destination Outdoors! DO IT!
