Agape Farm South is a lavender farm in Dillon, SC, just across the NC border. This is our second year and have a total of 600 plants growing. The property is 15+ total acre with a cleared 2.8 acre field of which approx 1/4 of that has the lavender. We will be adding more lavender each spring and fall. There are two orchards framing the field and property lines. This is an undeveloped rural property, there are currently to amenities. We have cut out a camping (RV or tent) in the woods on the edge of the field. The shaded spot is enclosed with dog fencing and gated with two rear exits into the woods. This means that you can pull in your camper, or car with tent equipment, close the gate and lets your dogs out. They two can experience some nature in a safe manner. This is something you cannot get in many places. There is a fire ring and firewood, table and 2 chairs. Lavender blooms in spring and summer and attracts many butterflies. The fruiting orchards will start producing fruit in 2024. Please know that this is our home away from home and our future retirement income. Please respect it and leave no trace of your presence. We are happy to share it with you. If you are in a RV/Travel Trailer, there is Bass Lake Campground right on the I95 exit for Dillon that offer water, dump station and propane for your needs. The wildlife is abundant, and although the deer ruin our row covering, we still like having them around and are creating food plots for them at the rear of the property to draw them away from the field (fingers crossed). Weekend Trip to Black River Camping Ventures

I absolutely loved my stay at Black River Camping Ventures! This is a gorgeous, pristine private family campground directly on the Black River. I camped here spur of the moment in the off season near the winter holidays. My tent site was immaculate, the check-in/out super easy, and my host Lisa made time to keep in good contact and to come by for a visit. The location is great for easy paddling access to the river. I originally planned a longer trek downstream and ended up just staying and exploring the ancient cypress swamps right around the campgrounds. Will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful time on the Black River! Thanks, Lisa!

Beautiful, private and somewhat enchanted. We felt such a sense of peace here. From the first contact with Mike, we knew it would be special. Large, private lots were scattered throughout the wooded area. Very well landscaped and looking forward to returning when everything is in bloom. If this is any indication of what our retirement will be like, we’re ready to explore now. A lot of love and care has built this place and it shows!

They have a lovely beach area to launch kayaks and some wonderful swamp and cypress areas to explore. Catfish in the river make fishing a fun time! The camping areas are large and each feature a fire ring with swing over cooking grate, trash can and picnic table. There are a couple of portable-John’s for use which are kept spotless. They even supply tissue, wipes and sanitizer! Mrs Lisa and Mr Eric were absolutely wonderful hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed for a fabulous time. We recommend very highly this camping site for fun family adventures.

I brought my RV out to Michael’s place and had an incredible stay. The property is spotless—honestly looks and feels brand new and the peace and quiet out there is exactly what I needed. Michael was an awesome host, quick to respond, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The space is open, relaxing, and very well taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back without a doubt. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable getaway.

Michael's treasure of a campground has become My Go-To stop over when I travel back and forth from Florida to visit family and friends. I think I've officially stayed there five times now. He is SO welcoming and thoughtful. The campground is beautiful, spots are pretty private and everything is spotless and so well kept!! Until next time! 🚐😊

The adult wild farm is just a perfect campground unlike many commercial campgrounds. It’s a very homey and cozy place to go. Michel is absolutely wonderful. Can’t say enough about her just a very, very nice lady and if I’m back in North Carolina anytime that’s where I’ll be staying.
