This unique feature prevented loggers from logging the property. As a result, there are many huge old-growth trees on the property as well as a variety of fauna and flora.

This is a working farm. Please do not Open any gates to the animals. The fruits and vegetables on the farm are for the members of the farm. Eggs from our chickens will be provided for you to use for breakfast. If you happen to choose a campsite with a kitchen. There is a coffee pot and all cooking utensils.
There are four permanent 4 shelters on the property. Composting toilets. Showers are still in the works. All of the shelters have their own composting toilets. Small propane heaters are available for each shelter. The first 1gallon bottle off propane is free with your stay. it will last 5-7 hrs. each additional bottles will cast $6.00 per bottle. There is also solar, powered lights, usb charging stations, fans, and air coolers. each Conestego hut has a locking front door to keep your belongings safe

We had another great stay in the cabins here! We were able to walk some of the trails on the property and were very happy with all the amenities in our cabin. This is a perfect spot for when we travel to the Wilmington area, but want to be out of the city. Love that the cabins are dog friendly too!

Weekend Trip to In the Pines RV and Cabin Village
We had a great stay in cabin 8! It was nice and warm on a chilly day, and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the space was very clean and decorated beautifully. This was a short trip, so we weren’t able to explore the property and amenities, but hope to return again soon and bring our dog!

1st time camping here and it was wonderful. Staff is extremely attentive and nice. Very laid back and unstressful which is really what your looking for on a weekend getaway to recharge from the day to day. The glamping tent we booked was extremely clean and comfortable overlooking the river making it very tranquil. If you bring children, the site has a myriad of events and activities to keep them busy and having fun. The whole facility is extremely well kept and a lot of thought and effort was put in to create the appropriate holiday theme of the season (we were there late Oct and it looked fabulous). We are definitely going to book another stay there especially with all the warm weather activities they have like kayaking and tubing. We might consider one of thier more excluded camping sites that they offer. Very much recommend checking it out whether old or young.

The cabin was in perfect condition and the amenities were super fun. My family and I (husband, 15 year old son, 3 month old, and two dogs) had such a great time. We need a local escape where we could "glamp", get away from technology, and make hot dogs + roast marshmallows over the fire. Pines RV & Cabin Village has everything we needed.
My husband is not a traditional camper, and I grew up camping quite often-- & "camped" in the Marine Corps-- so we settled for a glamping cabin. I booked the Deluxe Loft Cabin; #6 and we comfortably fit all four of us plus the Great Dane and pit bull mix. The pool, dog park, front office store, and amenities had him sold.
The place is pretty new. Quite a few lots were booked though. Many upscale RVs, some cabins were booked (but not all), and everyone adhering to the policies. Seems like a very polite and respectful place.
I would 100% book again.

Weekend Trip to The Secret Sanctuary Farm
Words can’t express how wonderful their campsite is! The cabins have comfortable beds, there is everything and anything you would need to stay for a weekend or longer. All you need to bring is food , whatever comfort items you personally want. They have everything! They have grills, fishing equipment, kayaks, life vest, firewood, power to charge phones, bug spray, fans, grilling/ cooking equipment. This is a once in a lifetime place. It is such an amazing special place, tucked back in the woods next to a creek with plenty of shade, chairs , fire rings , shower , camp toilets, dock to fish off of. Plenty of catfish, bowfin, bluegill, bass to find. Each cabin is slightly bigger than the bed , it has solar powered lights that also can charge your phone. Private camp toilets, shower that is from the creek water , and the peace and quiet is unimaginable. James and Sola are amazing people, the nicest people you will find. Anything you need they are there to help. Their farm is a sanctuary that they tend to with animals that are kid safe , chickens, horses, goats and many more. The pride and love they have for their property for your camping adventure is worth every second you are there and every penny. Perfect for romantic spot, a getaway, mental health, whatever your reason is this is the place for you. HIGHLY recommend. The solitude and experience is unbelievable. Message them for any questions and they are quick to help.

Weekend Trip to Laurel Oaks Estate
We stayed at little bear and had a fantastic time! The bed was very comfortable and the tent had everything you could need to cook, eat, and even had an AC unit! Very helpful in the July heat. We paddled around on the pond and enjoyed making s'mores on the campfire. Krystl met with us and allowed us to pet and feed the horses which were beautiful. Overall an amazing glamping experience. Would definitely recommend!

We loved the horse trailer mini-house. It was perfect for our weekend in the area. Careful with the hot water. It is very hot and tricky to get the hot/cold mix just right.

2 nights at The Secret Sanctuary Farm
James and Sola were very nice and welcoming! We stayed at Lokis lookout and enjoyed the serenity! Feeding the animals was a nice welcome to the property, and a great way to start off a quiet camping weekend. We found it super convenient that there was lots of camping equipment for cooking that was made available!

Weekend Trip to Laurel Oaks Estate
We loved staying in the Little Bear!
The amenities this space has to offer are endless - lovely outdoor shower with provided towels, covered porch, fire pit and chairs, very clean portapotty, farm fresh eggs (that were delicious!), a grill and all the kitchen wear needed to cook, a mini fridge, flashlights if you’ve forgotten yours, extra blankets, a space heater/cooling unit, indoor and outdoor games, and usb ports connected to the bed for electronics charging.
Each site is spaced out enough that you only see people when they are driving to/from their site. It feels very secluded and private.
The nature is beautiful; with the pond, trails, and all of the animal sounds!
The estate is close enough to the beach that we were able to spend the day at Litchfield Beach and stop at Broadway on the Beach on the way back.
We loved it and hope to bring our friends to Laurel Oak’s Estate for a group trip soon!

Our stay here was so peaceful! The place is exactly as described and has been curated with really thoughtful details that made it feel cozy and welcoming. It was the perfect spot for our visit to Myrtle Beach, close enough to everything, but quiet enough to relax and unwind. Definitely recommend!

3 nights at Laurel Oaks Estate
Had such a great time at Little Bear! It was my first time glamping and I honestly loved it. The spot is super peaceful with beautiful views and a lake nearby. My partner and I went for morning jogs and even spotted some animals from the nearby farm. The tent had everything we needed, and the bed and linens were super cozy. We grabbed eggs and firewood from them too, which made for an awesome breakfast and some s’mores by the fire. It’s really close to Myrtle Beach, so you get that quiet nature vibe but still near all the fun. Hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend Little Bear <3

Rustic and woodsy - then the most comfortable yurt to dive into! Greeted by birds and nature on awaking, with no desire to rise from the cushy bed. Enjoy rustic AND comfortable in a great spot.
