My farm had been untouched for years and only used as hay farming. It is rolling hills known by the locals as "Butterfly Hill" Which the farm is home to many species of butterflies in the summer. I know the area was inhabited by native Americans many decades ago. I have found a few broken arrow heads over the years. The farm is beautiful and quiet. I have a beautiful hiking trail around the property for you to take your fur babies on. The cabin is right on a beautiful stream too. There are several state parks nearby and river tubing within 10 -30 minutes. Hot showers and potable water just a few feet away.

Our farm is a beautiful, private 25 acres with an 1830s house, outbuildings, animals, orchards, gardens, pastures, old trees, wildlife habitat, a spring, and woods. We had a great stay in this little cabin. The farm is charming and beautiful… so if you need to get away from the city, this is a great option. The cabin is nice and rustic, and we greatly enjoyed using the wood stove. The hosts are attentive and responsive. Great place to stay with kids.

Our hosts were fantastic and supplied every possible convenience for us. As mentioned before, Jack the donkey is very friendly, and the stars at night are fantastic. The cabin is facing the rising sun, so be prepared for a lovely sunrise as well. :). We were looking for a "Little House on the Prairie" experience and this cabin didn't disappoint . The downtown is cute and the museum has hands-on things for kiddos. My kids are already asking to come back!

Ian was helpful with directions and had the tent and firewood set up for our arrival. Loved the seclusion and privacy. Enjoyed seeing a beaver, a large red-tailed hawk and deer, and hearing coyotes, woodpeckers, and owls. The perfect spot for viewing the meteor shower since the site is dark and has a great view of the night sky. It was it was a bit of a walk from the parking to the site, so if you are bringing a lot of stuff and have to make multiple trips, it may be a challenge. Overall a wonderful experience that we will likely book again.

Lois and Mike's spot was just as described!!!! The view is gorgeous! We couldn't believe how big the spot was, and we had it all to ourselves! The sunsets were beautiful and the star gazing was incredible. We had a clear night both nights and the stars were all out!!! We are already trying to plan another trip.
