Located on family land granted by King Charles in 1685 we have worked hard to restore and refurbish in a sustainable way, using the trees and supplies from the land that they sit on. Hand crafting doors and furniture the way the family did it 140 plus years ago. The history of this place is deep, even the nails for the cabin and farm house that is now the clubhouse were hand crafted by my great grandfather in his blacksmith shop, along with the wagon wheels, horse shoes, misc farm utensils etc... there was no running out to Lowes to pick up what was needed, it was made in the blacksmith shop. We love riding ATV's and SXS's on the trails on the mountains that I grew up on with my 3 brothers, we hope the people who visit and experience the mountains feel about them the way we do, we love em. We like to give riding tours and talking about the mountain and its challenges. We named the park from the famous product that was created here during prohibition, Cherry Bounce Moonshine. You can visit some of the original still sites on the mountain, of course they are not operational today. About the adventure co side, We are an adrenaline pumping ATV and SXS park with 25+ miles of mountainous trails at four skill levels; Green (Easy), Blue (Challenging), Black Diamond (Very Difficult) and Double Black Diamond (Most Difficult). You can bring your own ATV or SXS or rent one of ours. We have cabins & camp sites that are accessed by ATV or SXS on the mountains as well as hiking or biking. We do not allow jeeps, trucks or dirt bike motorcycles on the mountain, just ATV's and SXS vehicles.

Troutman is a very quaint southern town very close to Mooresville, NC. It is smack in the middle of Charlotte and Hickory! So you can enjoy the mountains or the city or both from ONE LOCATION!! We are within driving distance to Lowe's Motor speedway and very close to many race teams located in Mooresville. The downtown of Troutman is a short drive from your camp spot and there is a grocery store, drug store and many privately owned restaurants, including Italian, German and amazing fried chicken at Julia's! There is an ice cream parlor too!!  Another wonderful asset to Troutman is Daveste' Vineyard where there is live music often, and of course wine tastings! This beautiful vineyard is less than 10 mins away.

We loved tent camping on the platform here! My toddler had a blast climbing up and down the platform and walking around the loop. We all enjoyed the sunrise, sunset, and sky full of stars every night. We can’t wait to come back!

The area was very private and quiet. The platform was very convenient! Instructions for check in were easy to follow. The only downside to the site was the grown up trees in the summer that blocked the overlook view of the mountains. Great site!

This is an awesome camp site! Easily accessible and very convenient. The platforms are great for tents on one level and chairs on the other. We enjoyed our night and will be back in the future for longer stays. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset.

We had the best time at this Hipcamp! The drive up was so fun. The space was very clean and well maintained. The only thing I would pre-warn people of is the strong winds up there! Me and my wife used this site for a last minute getaway. The hoste was very informative and the site was clean with wonderful views. The platform was a plus, along with the outhouse. We do wish the outhouse had a spot to hang the toilet paper. We also liked how the host had hooks on the posts for us to hang things. We will be visiting this site in the future.
