All sites are right along Conleys Creek, which is stocked with trout and perfect for fishing or cooling off in the summer. Every spot includes a picnic table and fire pit — and tent sites come with a fire pit that includes a cooking grate for easy campfire meals.
Our land is totally pesticide-free and full of life — from colorful flower gardens to veggies, herbs, fruit trees, and our famous 14 free-range chickens (a.k.a. The Dixie Chicks). Guests love feeding them, petting them, and collecting fresh eggs.

I had such a wonderful stay at Anne and Chris’s property. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — Chris even taught me how to make my first campfire. They generously let me stay in their teepee, which was such a cozy and peaceful experience, especially falling asleep by the creek. The property is full of friendly animals (cats, dogs, and chickens!), and getting to hand-feed the chickens was such a fun and unique moment. I felt completely safe here as a young woman of color solo traveler.

We've been waiting for so long for our trip to Waterfall Heaven, and when our time to pack was getting closer, the weather was showing rain for the whole week we were supposed to be there... That was a little discouraging because we camp with 8 dogs and 2 crazy boys in a tent and I was worried everything will be way too wet and dirty and cold but I was not going to let this gem of a place go 😂 and what an amazing beautiful and serene place this spot is! The weather didn't matter, we had fun and the boys were in the water every day (even in 48°f), the dogs had so much space to run and sniff and explore and we even got a chance to do some activities in nearby towns (Stumphouse Tunnel in nearby city of Wallhala, SC and Foxfire Museum near the campsite was amazing)!
What saved us was the fact we were able to put our 10x18 tent under the huge wooden gazebo right by the waterfall (you need to remove the tables first and they are heavy!) and that kept our tent dry inside and out. The cooking area under the smaller gazebo was perfect for us preparing meals in the rain (we've put one of the tables there and were able to stay dry while eating).
The hike up the hill to see the bigger waterfall is worth the view and not having cellphone reception or internet at the campsite was the best break I secretly wished for 😂
We have another trip booked in March 2026 and I'm hoping I'll be able to also score a week in summer 2027! Thank you DeeDee for having us!

We tent camped during our stay but got slightly rained out but fortunately they had wonderful facilities on site such as the hot shower and private bathroom as well as the game room with pingpong and pool. 10/10 will definitely be camping here again if we find ourselves in the area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Anne, and Chris' property. It was very tranquil and safe. We stayed right next to the stream that runs through the property which was incredible. I know other reviews say the road is a little loud, but we felt that it wasn't too bad. I would certainly recommend this campground if you are wanting to stay central to all of the adjacent towns. As well as the National Park!

Fantastic place to stay. Area is well kept by the owners. Fall asleep to the sound of the river. This place is large and can handle a very large group or you can have it all to yourself. There is a hike up the hill to a beautiful waterfall. It's not an easy path, but it's worth it. Highly recommend this camp, you won't regret it!

This was a lovely private, peaceful campsite, with a clean and convenient bathroom, and the added bonus of a games room which would be awesome in bad weather. I loved the chickens wandering around, and it was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the creek. Anne and Chris were really friendly and hospitable, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

I’ve been bringing my family here for the past few years, and it’s a great property that we always look forward to returning. Dee Dee and her son maintain the property well (grass is always cut, trees appear safe, and shelter and bathrooms are always clean), and I’ve never been disappointed with our stay. Word to the wise: If you have a camper you might want to park up top vs next to the bathrooms, because the apple tree you park under will drop palm-sized apples on your roof in the Fall.
