Weekend Trip to Dandelion Hill Farm Cottage

This was a sweet little spot that was just what we needed for a weekend for two. Cabin was clean and stocked, outdoor shower was warm (with a roof so still an option in the rain!) Close to things to explore. And the goats were cute!

Weekend Trip to Andes Off Grid Glamping Cabin

My Husband and I came to this cabin for my birthday weekend and we had a great time! The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The wood stove inside was great for keeping us warm on the chilly nights. Also, the windows inside open which is good if you need some fresh air. It truly is 'off-the-grid' as there is no cell service but sometimes that's a good thing when you are trying to disconnect from your worries. The location is close to a lot of hiking trails if you are interested in getting out into nature. Alessandro was a kind, welcoming and accommodating host, it was great getting to meet him. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone!

We loved our first trip to the Tiny House so much, we came back for a second time!! We just adore this spot and were so glad to get to use the wood stove to keep us nice and toasty :)

Great stay, it has just enough amenities for a comfortable stay. Very quiet and peaceful. The walk down is not bad but the way up feels very steep so I recommend trying for just one trip. Easy to find.

Weekend Trip to Trails Head Tiny House

The tiny house was just as expected. The goat was very thorough on what was available for use at the house. We used the solar for two days running the main overhead light, the tv, laptop, and WiFi. The wood stove was great! The diesel heater was great for overnight. When the fire dies the diesel heater keeps that deep chill off. The tiny house feels very private and we felt secluded the entire weekend. Gas station is right up the road just in case you need anything including fire starter and snacks. Great times and great private property!

Weekend Trip to Majestic Farm & Organic Orchard

Such a great place! It has a perfect balance between camping and glamping. The Orchard tiny house was perfect for us (family of four), pretty secluded and private and beautifully located in the middle of the woods. It has a nice mattres, a table with benches and board games to enjoy. The fire pit and the picnic table are also very useful. We brought our own sleeping bags and blankets for the night, and meat for dinner and had a great time

Weekend Trip to Andes Off Grid Glamping Cabin

My fiancee & I spent an incredible weekend at Alessandro's cabin. The cabin itself was stunning, comfortable, & well cared-for & meticulously maintained. The location was beautiful & secluded yet easy to get to. From there it's easy to get to all of your favorite Catskills hotspots (we hiked to the Balsam Lake Mountain Fire Tower). Alessandro was a gracious & thoughtful host. Highly recommend!

2 nights at Trails Head Tiny House

We adored our stay at the Tiny House! The property was clearly marked with where to park and how to access the site. The home was perfectly secluded away from the street and main house on the property. We felt totally private but also safe and comfortable with all the lights and facilities! The home was well stocked with things left by former stay-ers, such as coffee, utensils, propane, cooking supplies, and blankets, etc. There were plenty of ways to stay warm, too! The solar heater was amazing, and when it died we had the small stove and propane heater to our disposal, which were beyond adequate. The hammock, grill, fire pit (couldn't use for burn bans but still cute:), tables, chairs, all of it ... perfect! The guest book and the goats were absolutely adorable. Would definitely return :)

Weekend Trip to Majestic Farm & Organic Orchard

Incredibly beautiful farm in a charming part of the Catskills, just a couple hours outside NYC. The cabins are really nice and tastefully set up and the kitchen and outhouse worked for our purposes. We were a large group and rented all four cabins on an extremely cold weekend in February. We expected it to be cold and it was (there's no heating in the cabins), but we were prepared with warm clothes and good gear. The place was snowed over and it was too icy to drive onto the property, and there wasn't running water due to the freezing temperatures, but the hosts were communicative ahead of time about all of this, responsive to questions, and very helpful. We were delighted to encounter peacocks and a bunch of hogs roaming around. Some of the hosts' dogs were unfriendly at times, which was a little unnerving.

Perfectly sized tiny house for a couple. Windows on both sides so you can look up at the trees as you fall asleep. Wonderful views from the campfire area. Easy firewood purchase.

Majestic Farm is an Animal Welfare Approved, Biodynamic Organic Farm. We have 6 acres of Organic Apples in addition to pigs, chickens, peacocks and geese roaming the grounds. Ask about our Organic apples in the fall and pasture raised heritage meats available all year round. Majestic Farm is a safe place. We welcome all members of the community, and emphasize that we are safe space for BIPOC and for members of the LGBTQI community. All people are beautiful. Be sure to message us if you would like to purchase firewood, meats or apples. Each tiny house as a full sized mattress, you can also rent a full sized cot for $20. You can message, we will leave your items for contact free pick-up and you can pay cash or venmo us later. Please carry out what you carry in and leave it clean for the next group. We clean between all visitors - and are currently keeping quite a distance to protect you, the site and everybody involved. The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindalewhich has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, in addition to creek bar a magical cafe & bar with outdoor seating and fire pits that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, and has live music and events on weekends. There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @badgrandmashop for the most vibrant and stylish clothes for all sizes and styles. Not to be missed. There is also a lovely yoga studio and bollywood dance spot in addition to some other delightful gems in town. There is superb hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Also Bashakill trails (and conveniently a vineyard with tastings and events right nearby). Your'e also about 30 minutes away from super cute fun larger towns and attractions like New Paltz, Livingston Manor, and tons of incredible Catskill hiking and nature opportunities. NOTE! There's an excellent Farmers Market on Saturday's in Rock Hill from 10-1pm from June to September also. Come find us there! Designed as a retreat for the modern creative, the cabin is fully off-grid but features Starlink Internet, a compost toilet and heat / AC. We do provide 5 gallons drinking / cleaning water, but during the winter no sinks or showers are operable. Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY) have awesome art, shopping and plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park. 15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can be reach by taxi. The cabin is accessible by car, but may require a short hike in after heavy rain or snow. This cabin is part of the Offsite Camp family (www.offsite.camp).

Trails Head Tiny House

Private and off-grid tiny home near the Neversink Unique Area hiking trails. This tiny house is approximately a tenth of a mile from guest parking. A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The space The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Keypad on the front door for easy entry. Other details to note Unless you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, Please DO NOT drive or attempt to drive to the tiny house site. IF you decide to drive an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, it is at your own risk and the owners are not responsible for any damages. (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) Please keep in mind the WIFI and lights are solar powered, therefore we cannot always guarantee its consistency. Please also note this site is off grid with a rain-catch water system, therefore we cannot guarantee there will always be running water. NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER. The outdoor shower has been updated with a hot water rain catch system. Please be conscious of your water usage, as the water for the shower is collected via a gutter system. If you run out of water in the shower you will need to wait for the next rainfall for it to collect and build back up. During the late fall and winter months, this site will be open to winter campers who come prepared with the necessities and truly know how to winter camp. There will be no running water during this time and the solar will not work as well as it does during the summer months. We recommend not using the electric during the daytime hours, as this helps conserve power for when you will need to use it at night. We provide the following linens: fitted sheet for the full size bed in the loft, 4 sleeping bags, and 4 pillows. Anything additional must be brought by the guest.
