Enjoy boating/fishing/swimming in a privately owned, NO MOTORS lake. We have a gazebo at the shore, and an anchored swimming float. Kayaks, canoe, rowboat, and peddle boat are available. Lots of wildlife around the lake to enjoy.
Choose your own campsite; area is amply spaced for several tents. Mowed paths in camping section, with both sunny and shady spots available on both sides of stream.
Campfire ring, water spigot (private drilled well) and electric available on the property. Neighbor cottage partially visible, but our property is pretty secluded and private. Picnic tables and chairs available. The lake and dock area and the boats, gazebo, and picnic tables are all communal.
Well behaved pets okay, leashes may be required.
Mostly level terrain, ample parking area. Very peaceful here.

Our folks bought this property in 1953, and it is still used and maintained by our family. We feel blessed to be able to share it with our children and grandchildren, and offer it to others who may not have such a peaceful and serene spot to relax and unwind.
Parking is in a large gravel area behind cottage. Campsites are located across a small stream, easily accessible (less than a 3 min walk) from the parking area.
Path immediately next to parking leads to a nice camping area alongside stream, farther from lake front. Truck and car-top tents in the parking area may be allowed upon request. We ask that cars stay in the parking area, but there is a wheelbarrow for use in transporting your gear to the spot you choose.
There is no bathroom. (The cottage is private.) You must pack it out, or bring your own portable toilet with disposable liners.
Trash and recycling cans are provided. No shower. But the lake is great for swimming, and very clean!

New in July, 2026! A peaceful riverfront nature retreat on the pristine Upper Delaware River. Easy, private river access to swim, wade, fish, and hand launch your kayak or small boat.
Guests enjoy eagle sightings, birdwatching, and a thriving wild trout population that draws anglers from all over the world. Campsites are nestled in a shaded grove of mature hardwood trees. The riverfront is a one minute walk down a trail to a gently sloping riverbank. The water is typically 1-3 ft deep near shore.
Amenities: Each site has a large mulched area, picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. There is a clean port-a-potty bathroom by the parking area, serviced every Friday. Firewood is available to purchase by the bundle in advance (see Extras) or on-site. Bring your own drinking water jugs. Garbage is pack in, pack out.
Group sizes: 4 people per site. We consider exceptions for up to 6 if you have good HipCamp reviews or for additional kids in the same family. Send us a note. A full site buyout for up to 20 guests is also available.
Well Behaved Dogs: At Site 5 Grouse Cove only. This is to keep the vibe tranquil and clean. Max 2 dogs.
River safety: Typically calm and shallow near shore. Depth increases and current becomes stronger as you walk out toward mid-river. This is a river not a pool or lake. The river is not always safe for swimming after heavy rains and upstream water releases. Life jackets are strongly encouraged even for strong swimmers and are required by the National Park Service for kids. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard.
Boats: Canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, or inflatables - hand carry and launch right from camp. The walk to the waterfront is less than 2 minutes from parking down a stone trail. Trailered boats - launch at the nearby paved PA Fish and Boat Ramps (we are between Shehawken and Buckingham). Overnight parking for trailered boats is OK in our parking lot.

Nestled in the foothills of the New York Catskills 150 miles Northwest of New York City is a place called Paradise Falls. It was named many years ago and as soon as you arrive you will see why the name was chosen. It has been in our family for almost 100 years. You can still see remnants of the gristmill that use to operate there. Many great memories have been made at the Falls and we now want to share our slice of paradise with you.
The rolling creek, a feeder searching for it's mama - the Delaware River - runs down the mountainside and over the rocks to give power and life to the falls. The steady flow makes you think you are far from civilization. But not really - only a short hike and you travel from the falls to a dirt road to a paved highway in a matter of a few minutes.
Over thousands of years and a few hundred year floods nature has made this wonderful cave-like formation under and behind the waterfall. The flat rock is a great place to picnic and enjoy the tranquility of the water. The trees surrounding the area make a fitting canopy for this unique campsite.
The mountain behind is great for climbing and a short walk down the creek will get you to the base of Jensons Ledges. The ledges are a steep hike up a mountain to a spectacular vista. Definitely worth the time and effort it takes to get there.

Nice spot - felt private. Not a lot of sun in this spot so I wouldn’t recommend for colder days. The tub was the easiest kind to use that I’ve experienced which was nice. It still took a while to heat but you could enjoy the fire while it warmed up. There’s a lot of hills and it was very moist and slippery so I fell several times. Don’t plan to bring too much heavy stuff because of the short but steep and bumpy trek to the site. It was nice to have the platform off the ground and the large tent was setup which helped protect from the rain. There’s no flat space at all but everything was setup as well as it could be. The bathroom is very far and up a hill from this site but it was clean and easy to use.
Would recommended to the right camper who is looking for some solitude.

Justamere was a great site. We had enough room for our 16x16 Tent and an additional bathroom tent. Fire pit was great with unlimited firewood. We had the table and additional bench to help set up all our things. Sherri was a great host and super responsive. Service wasn’t great for Verizon but T-Mobile got one bar to atleast make a phone call if need be.

The property was beautiful and easy to get to. Catherine met us on arrival and welcomed us along with their dog Winston (which our pup really enjoyed). Lots of great space and beautifully maintained. Our kids spent every morning and afternoon fishing off the dock and rowboat. So many fish were caught! The lake is very clean and big enough to feel spaced out from anyone else. Morning mist on the lake was magical. Clear nights put on an amazing show with thousands of stars easily visible. Catherine was very responsive any time we had a question. Highly recommend.

Incredible stay!! Felt like a home away from home, even for camping outdoors. Renee was super welcoming and showed us around the beautiful property. Amenities were clean and the linens were obviously just washed! Bedding was super warm on chilly nights thanks to the many blankets provided. Private retreat with so much space. If you’re looking to disconnect for a while, this stay is perfect.

We absolutely LOVED camping here…it was truly unreal. The sound of the waterfall was so relaxing. Everything was clean, directions were extremely clear, and the site was well taken care of. The hot tub is work, but completely worth it. Couldn’t get over how clean the outhouse was. Host was very friendly, responsive, gave updates before our trip, and whenever I had questions he answered promptly. You truly feel alone in the best way…you have privacy even if another camper is at the other site. We literally didn’t leave the two nights we were there and definitely want to come back! Highly recommend.

I took my 6yr old with me this time and he had a blast riding his bike all over the paths. It's all close proximity to the cabin I felt comfortable with him going alone. He enjoyed the hammock and swing.
The cabin, area, outdoor shower and sink were very clean. Porta potty was spotless and smelled fresh.

Great site great owner ! We stayed a week and had the while place to ourselves. The river was a 2 minute walk and was spectacular peaceful and quiet. We will be visiting again soon Thank you Adam for hosting us and accommodating our needs!

This site was better Than the pictures. Adam and the family were hospitable and the accommodations were exactly as described. My daughter and I spent a relaxing 3 nights over a campfire surrounded by woods and waterfalls.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Family Getaway
We had the BEST stay at this rustic cabin on the lake. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and spend quality time together in a beautiful setting. The sunset over the lake was picturesque and serene.
The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The cabin fit my family of 4 and 2 dogs easily with space to move around.
Our kids especially enjoyed spending time on the water, and we are very grateful to our generous hosts for allowing us to use the boats and kayaks. Paddling around the lake and exploring together created memories our family will cherish for years to come.
Our only regret is that we wished we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this cabin to families looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway. ❤️🌲🛶🌊

2 nights at Canvas Private Glamping Yurt
Honestly, we absolutely loved this place! It was so beautiful and the perfect place to connect with nature. I loved how every little corner had something special that reminded us to slow down and enjoy every moment. Everything was so clean, and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The farm was incredible too—I especially loved the chocolate milk, it was AMAZING! 😂🥛 We’ll definitely be back! 🤎🌿

Hello, so many great things to say about Catherine's lakeside property. We were a group of ten people (adults,kids,a baby and a dog) and LOVED our staying, the place is peaceful and big, we used the gazebo when it was raining so that's a plus. Catherine was very generous with providing wood for a very reasonable price so we could enjoy the fire by the lake every night it was wonderful, you can use the canoe and kayaks, the kids had so many great things to do like fishing and swimming in the lake, there's no motor boats on the lake so it's very safe and quiet, plenty of chairs and tables, we're definitely going back next summer.
