We're located 1 hour from NYC and 1.5 hours from Philadelphia and the closest national recreation area with millions of visitors each year. Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. This is a great place to gather in a small group and take in the Catskills. 10 min to downtown Livingston Manor + close to lots of amazing hikes! One of my favorite hikes is right down the road and the house is close to Giant Ledge / Panther for a little more exercise. :) You can have a lovely time on the property exploring the meadows and woods. There's even a natural spring 1/2 mile up the road if you want to take some fresh mountain water on your journey. We love enjoying meals on the deck and we are walking distance to rivers, streams and lakes are only a 10 min drive where you can sunbathe on the beach! We're @livingston_manor_birdhouse :). To support this effort, we offer a $35 discount on your booking if you choose to participate in our "Bring Your Own Linens" policy. This applies to guests with any length of stay. Simply bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels (hand, dish and body), and we’ll pass the savings on to you while reducing our laundry output—it's a win for you and the planet!
For one-night stays, which are available exclusively for midweek bookings (please directly request a one night stay by sending me a msg, nights are set to 2 night stay)(Monday through Thursday), participation in our "Bring Your Own Linens" policy is required. The prices for these one-night stays already reflect this policy, meaning no additional discounts will be applied. We’ll reopen again in March, and we can’t wait to host you for another peaceful season by the pond. In the meantime, here’s what you can look forward to when we reopen: tucked in the woods just 3 miles from Honesdale and 5 miles from Hawley and Lake Wallenpaupack. Your private canvas bell tent sits just steps from a peaceful pond, offering a front-row seat to the changing seasons.
Our two tranquil ponds have excellent fishing and abundant wildlife — bald eagles, beavers, ducks, deer, and the occasional black bear. A canoe is available (weather permitting) for guests to paddle, cast a line, or simply float and take in the quiet.
Inside your spacious bell tent, you’ll find a queen-size bed with sheets, LED camp lights, and basic kitchen equipment and utensils. We can also offer, as options, a propane Buddy Heater, two luxury cots, and firewood. Pets are welcome.
Spend your days fishing, canoeing, stargazing, and enjoying campfires, or simply soaking in the stillness of the woods. As night falls, curl up inside the tent with a cup of cocoa and listen to the quiet rustle of the forest.

Well behaved dogs are welcome and may be off leash if they do not chase the animals.
We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here.
We charge "per person, per night", not by the campsite or vehicle.

Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. This is a great place to gather in a small group and take in the Catskills. 10 min to downtown Livingston Manor + close to lots of amazing hikes! One of my favorite hikes is right down the road and the house is close to Giant Ledge / Panther for a little more exercise. :) You can have a lovely time on the property exploring the meadows and woods. There's even a natural spring 1/2 mile up the road if you want to take some fresh mountain water on your journey. To support this effort, we offer a $35 discount on your booking if you choose to participate in our "Bring Your Own Linens" policy. This applies to guests with any length of stay. Simply bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels (hand, dish and body), and we’ll pass the savings on to you while reducing our laundry output—it's a win for you and the planet!
For one-night stays, which are available exclusively for midweek bookings (please directly request a one night stay by sending me a msg, nights are set to 2 night stay)(Monday through Thursday), participation in our "Bring Your Own Linens" policy is required. We would like to offer a queen sz air mattress and or twin sz kid bed which can easily be set up before your arrival. There is a $20 fee per person/night after 2 people. The house can accommodate 4 people comfortably

We’ll reopen again in March, and we can’t wait to host you for another peaceful season by the pond. In the meantime, here’s what you can look forward to when we reopen: tucked in the woods just 3 miles from Honesdale and 5 miles from Hawley and Lake Wallenpaupack. Your private canvas bell tent sits just steps from a peaceful pond, offering a front-row seat to the changing seasons.
Our two tranquil ponds have excellent fishing and abundant wildlife — bald eagles, beavers, ducks, deer, and the occasional black bear. A canoe is available (weather permitting) for guests to paddle, cast a line, or simply float and take in the quiet.
Inside your spacious bell tent, you’ll find a queen-size bed with sheets, LED camp lights, and basic kitchen equipment and utensils. We can also offer, as options, a propane Buddy Heater, two luxury cots, and firewood. Pets are welcome.
Spend your days fishing, canoeing, stargazing, and enjoying campfires, or simply soaking in the stillness of the woods. As night falls, curl up inside the tent with a cup of cocoa and listen to the quiet rustle of the forest.

Eric was a great host and met us in the driveway. I personally like to meet the host to know where I'm camping vs. trying to figure it out in the dark. I definitely recommend trying to meet Eric so he can tell you where to go. Spot was gorgeous and was exactly what we'd hoped for.
4x4 was required for the snow camping we did but wouldn't be in dry weather.

I took this trip with my adult son and I was as tranquil and a bounty of wildlife. The sunsets are great and you’re perch on a hill overlooking a lake so quite scenic. If you want to totally disconnect be at peace and rough it a little this is the place for you. There is a a generator for light, heat and a refrigerator. We took our own portable compost and a small rinse king system to wash up..
Cooking outside was a thrill for my son as well, we gather wood from the surroundings.
Konsztantine was very responsive and quite hospitable. Quick responses to whatever we asked. Best in class host. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at the Organic Farm in the Pocono Mountains. Eric greeted me on my arrival and the space I stayed was serene. They were hospitable and available for questions and hiking suggestions. I also felt safe being a solo camper. The Delaware Water Gap was less than 20 min away from the campsite!

The campsites at the organic farm are great, spacious and secluded. A lot of birds and several deer were attracted by the pond. The farm is very close to the city and the trails, at very convenient spot for everything one needs. Communication with Eric was excellent! I would come again anytime.

The cabin itself was perfect for a weekend getaway having all the essentials needed and some nice extras like the hot tub and sauna. The area was incredibly beautiful and close to a cute little town. Despite some travel issues, we were met with kindness and flexibility, which show how amazing they were at hosting! We also got some very good local recommendations :) we’ll definitely be back!

Great place to camp with great views of the lake. Farm animals on the property are friendly and very cute. We got to bottle feed a baby calf and hand feed other farm animals, lots of fun.
At night we enjoyed cooking over campfires, stargazing with a glass of wine.

This place is amazing, it’s the only HipCamp site I have ever gone back to more than once. Three trips so far and plan to go back.
The animals are very docile, the hosts are as friendly as can be but give you your space.

Mark is an amazing host, along with his wife and dog. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, shuttled our bags to and from the site on check-in/check-out, provided us with plenty of firewood for the weekend, and lent us their canoe to take out on the private lake.
The tent is located on the far side of the lake (away from the road) with a stunning view of autumn foliage reflected off the water. It feels very remote and peaceful with only sounds from the surrounding forest and beautiful view of the stars on a clear night. The tent and fire circle are kept very clean with a heater provided inside the tent that keeps it very warm. It was the perfect setting for a romantic weekend having just proposed to my fiancée.
Overall, I would recommend this property very highly and hope to be back for another stay soon!
